Put in a call to AAA and the tow truck arrived in 20 min! Driver was professional and nice. Would use them again.

I called AAA and they dispatched this company. I was expecting that they would call/txt upon arrival, but this didn't happen. I went outside right at the ETA just to find that the two truck was speeding away. Speeding. The driver did not bother to call or look around or at least wait 2 minutes past the scheduled arrival time. I called AAA again and they dispatched a different company which was great. read more

If there is an option for zero stars I would had definitely chose it. While driving home I was cut off several times by this towing company truck was not able to get the license plate since they were swerving in and out of traffic, cutting in front of traffic when you're supposed to make a right turn only at a stop light. I would never recommend this service not only do the poor driving but with the person with an attitude like that behind the wheel shouldn't be driving and why would I want them handling my vehicle. read more

I just witnessed one of their drivers double park next to a huge truck, so traffic could not pass. There was a woman trying to pass, and when she asked if he was going to move, he replied "I'm working!" I heard her plead with him "I'm trying to get my baby home," and he just shrugged and kept going. I sat and watched at least 5 cars honk, curse, and have to turn around and go back the way they came. I can't believe someone could be so rude and selfish! I can't comment on the company itself, but if they employee this kind of person, I certainly would never use them! read more

Called AAA, because my battery died. Asked them to hurry because I had to pick up my kid from school. From the time of my call, to the end of installation of my new battery, it was 20 minutes. 20 minutes!!! Kenneth, the driver was so polite and efficient, and it only cost me $116! I have AAA and the experience with them ws HORRIBLE, but I couldn't ask for a better tow at 2 am, yes 2.am because AAA took an Hr to answer the phone. Back to the tow clean professional driver thanks Bob's Towing for turning a bad situation into a not so bad situation. read more

Called AAA and they said Bobs towing will be there in approx 30 minutes. Bob's shows up 70 minutes later with a truck that wouldn't work for the tow despite being told what the problem was. The driver said that he could order the right truck and I asked how long would it be because I had a very important engagement that I absolutely could not be late for. He told me it would be 15 minutes. At 30 minutes, I called AAA and they called Bob's and were told the truck was on it's way and was six miles away. Another 30 minutes later it was obvious that I would't make my important engagement and called again, Triple A could not reach anyone and I informed them that I absolutely had to leave, I had my son meet the truck- even though he was twenty minutes away he still beat them there. My original call was at 10:30am and they finally arrived around 1:15. If they just would have been honest at ANY point, I could have made other arrangements, but they consistently lied and caused me quite the problems. I have never ever had such issues. read more

Sketchy business practices for sure. I was with my friend when someone in a bob's towing truck cut him off on a turn and proceeded to pull up next to him and yell obscenities from out the window. The driver then proceeded to spend down the road dancing between the lanes. It's no wonder why that person is working for a tow company. Will never bother to use and will inform everyone NEVER to use them. read more

Called AAA and Bob's Towing was the contractor that came out. They arrived very quickly and the guy was really nice. He pumped up my flat tire for me and recommended a place to take my car, which ended up being a great place. Called AAA today for a tow for the second time. They sent Bob's Towing service to me for the second time and the same person for the second time. The guy's name that pick me up is Carlos. Awesome guy professional and he explained what he was going to do before doing it. I have a 2001 F250, yes it is an old truck, but it got treated with respect like if it was his own. I know there is only one way to put a vehicle on a flat bed, but he did it right. Friendly and good conversation. Good guy you have on your team. Thanks Carlos. read more

AAA dispatched this company to us for a tow. I went to meet the tow truck driver after he was so rude to my boss, the driver was extremely abrasive and yelled at my boss to the point that I was sent instead to avoid further confrontation. The driver continued to go on about how my boss couldn't even show up and sent me in his stead. I've never experienced such an unprofessional ass of a driver in my life. Auto Club sent a driver to move a car from residence to another for repairs. Auto Club knew this when I made the original call. Bobs Towing sent a very arrogant driver who questioned when the car was last registered, why it didn't run, all of which was none of his business. Auto Club called them to move a car from one location to another and that was all he needed to know. The driver was arrogant and simply (the nicest thing I can say at this point), an a@@; which I told him. So, as a result he refused to help me and told me he was calling Auto Club cause I called him a name. Auto Club ended up sending another service to help me and I am on my way to meet them. Hopefully they, whoever they are, send a professional nice human being. But Bob's, I would not recommend and hopefully the Auto Club doesn't use them any more, but they probably will. read more

Zero stars! I have AAA who sent me a driver at my local mechanics. Not only was the tow truck driver extremely rude, unwilling to help in any way, like charge my battery since it's dead. (Pretty sure that's what I called them for) to also let me know he may not be able to drop the car off in the garage I called about. In the middle of charging the battery he takes a call, unplugs his clamps, and leaves! Tells me he can't wait for the battery to charge! Now waiting over an hour for another tow. read more

Got stuck at the parking lot on the Diag and the circle. Called AAA, they sent out Bob's. Martin shows up intoduces himself and checked my card. Listened to my story and started to get my car ready for the flatbed. He removed the plastic cover from my bumber and placed it inside my car so it would not fall off during transport. Very personable guy. Treated my car 'respectful' and opened tHe door of his truck for me since I was driving with him to the dealer. During the drive he was polite and started conversation about my car's brand. When at the dealer, Martin unloaded the car, went over to the night drop (we were there after service hours) and handed me the envelope to fill out and put my keys in. Said his good byes and I had to stop him to properly thank him with a tip. Yeah, yeah, I know how to get into a truck, I know that he is to treat my car like it is his own, I know that I have to get the envelope for the night drop. BUT..... he did take the time to do the little things. He made me feel better then before I met him. Rock on! read more

WOW!! Most rude, ridiculous people I have ever come in contact with. AAA should not allow these morons to tow anything for them. I have been dealing with tow vendors for 15 years. This is the first time that I have ever been told F@#K you by someone when I asked them to do their job that was the answer I was given. It was one of those days: my wife and I were headed back from the death of my brother and our car blew a spark plug on 405. We called AAA and Darryl from Bob's towing showed up. This guy was great and polite. He told us to Bob's and introduced us to the boss. It was a Saturday and they're going to close up shop in a half an hour. Bob got one of his mechanics Jesus to work on our truck. Within 45 minutes they had the truck repaired. They couldn't guarantee that it would hold for our trip to San Francisco, because they didn't have a chance to test it and we would be the test pilot. But we drove around Long Beach for a half an hour and headed north and everything worked out great. If it hadn't been for AAA, Darrell, and the boss, and Jesus, we would've had to spend at least 2 1/2 extra days before getting home from a sad event. The cost of the repair was the cost that it would've taken the Ford dealership to open the hood and look for the problem. Thanks again AAA and Bob's towing. read more
