I am very impressed with Bob's. I have been going several times a year when I need something and they have it at a good price. I take a 9.5 Wide shoe and most of the stores here in Salem do not carry shoes or boots in wide. Bob's does. I found a great boot at a great price. I am a fan. THanks Bob's. read more

Their operation is sleazy. I ordered a Columbia vest, two muscle shirts and a Columbia long sleeve tee shirt. They confirmed that the order would ship complete, but the information was unclear. When I called customer service the CSR named Sarah was rude, argumentative, and abusive.She said the order was complete and would arrive later this week. Then Sarah hung up on me. This store is okay. It seems since I last shopped at Bob's regularly the prices have gone way up, which is a shame because the store often has really high quality stuff but it's sad that you can find the same quality things for less money at Target. They however do have a good deal on alterations and although we put in our order for my husbands pants to be shortened the week before New Year's they were still ready when promised and available as soon as we walked in tonight. They have a lot of clearance stuff right now but most of it is in the Juniors and Kids section, not so much in the Men's and Women's. Huge shoe section still and the prices there are still unbeatable for the most part but the rest of the store is a bit of a let down. read more

Lately I haven't had much luck here. The store is pretty bare and it makes me wonder if they are going out of business or something! They have a good selection of work, play, and sports gear clothing as well as some sweet shoes for guys and gals. I usually find more stuff for my husband than I do for myself, but thats ok... I like the rewards card, I get $10 gift certificates in the mail but often have a hard time spending them lately cause the store is is bare! Their summer selections definitely spank their winter collections- That's when I prefer to shop here. read more

The Bob's Reward program is pretty spiffy, but it's a bit of a shame when you keep getting coupons and find yourself struggling to spend them on things. It feels like the teen/juniors department has slowly been growing larger and larger, and the other departments are subsequently shrinking. This must be the bee's knees if you're a junior, but if not it can be a little disappointing. Sometimes you can find really nice deals on things in here if you hit it just right. I've walked out with $45 sandals for only $10 on clearance! The key is to pay close attention to tags and labels because it's not uncommon to find something mismarked. Thank goodness for the clearance here though because "regular" prices are often too far above what I'd consider paying for the same products at other stores. read more

Athletic attire for bargain prices, business casual clothing, and hiking boots can be purchased here for bargain prices. Got winter boots here for under 50$, these boots keep me warm throughout cold NH winters. Bob's frequently sends coupons, which makes shopping here a true bargain. read more

If Bob's is going to send a $10.00 discount coupon to my house then I should be able to buy products at the store and get $10 off. NOPE not at Bobs. You can't buy brand names or specials or anything else because it doesn't qualify. They are way over priced in many products and the staff is not helpful. Saugus, MA store. Back to Walmart I go. I used to buy some men's clothes at the Bob's in Salem years ago but in recent years the men's clothing selection has gone way down. There is nothing here that you cannot find in greater selection and better price at Kohl's. This store's days are surely numbered. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, every time. The cashiers won't even so much as look at you while you are standing at the register for 2 minutes waiting for them to finish gossiping to each other. And when they finally ring up your items, they still don't make eye contact or say a single word throughout the entire transaction. Also, the prices are absurdly high. read more

Very deceptive advertising. Received a coupon in the mail for $25.00 off of $100.00. When I got up to the register, I found out I could only use the coupon on certain brands. So I saved 20% on one shirt. My total was $211.00 and I saved $2.40. What a savings!. Will not be visiting this store any time soon. read more

Terrible experience. I tried to use 2 expired reward certificates. I only tried to use them because their Facebook page says that they accept them even if expired. They were expired by a couple weeks. The manager was very rude and refused to accept them. I'll next go there again. read more
