I went in with a specific mission, to buy a pair of 514 jeans as quickly as possible. The outlet carries Levi's basic line, you won't find the higher priced Levi's Vintage Clothing, but they do a great job of keeping sizes in stock. I was able to find my pair of 514s within 5 minutes of walking in and there was no wait for the fitting room. For $30 it was a good deal. What really impressed me was the employees knowledge of Levi's product. After talking with me for a few minutes about what i liked about the 514s I was purchasing he recommended me another pair from a different line that I would never have considered otherwise (501 shrink to fit). I'm always weary of the add-on sales but after trying them on I had to admit he was right. The fit was great and the denim was a might better quality. I ended up leaving with both pairs of jeans for under $80.

I googled shoe stores upon arrival to the hotel and found this gem! I will start by saying I entered the store fully knowing they closed in 30 minutes. I was welcomed like I was family. I never once felt rushed. The salesperson started a conversation with me and I informed him of needing some dressier shoes for the reasons listed above. He immediately suggested something in the clearance section seeing I needed a quick solution. I thought this was really considerate. He could've easily tried to take advantage of a situation. I ended up trying something regularly priced because I liked the brand and they looked comfortable. And they were. I bought them and am very happy with my purchase. I'll be back in the area in a few weeks. I intend to stop in again.

But, its high quality stuff and many pieces have that fantastic classy yet sensible country style that I love. Having said that, such style comes at a cost. Your average jacket or coat retails for $300 - $650 at Barbour. What I love about this store is that they carry current stuff at a small 15-20% discount generally. However, they have several rqcks in the back of the store with Barbour's famous 'Oddiments' ... past-season or catalog returns at 70% off. I bought a $550 retail down puffer jacket for a little over $150 from this rack. The lady happens to wear size 6 US (which dishearteningly is a size UK 10) and that happens to be Barbour's Sample size (men's is Medium) and they had a whole giant rack of Samples at 50% off. The store is laid out very well and the staff is helpful. I LOVE their approach! When I walked in, one of the women staffers said, 'Welcome to Barbour. We want to give you space to do your thing but we aren't ignoring you. Let us know if you need anything.' I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! Nothing worse than when some salesperson follows you around telling you that you look good in everything you try on, even if it fits you like a sausage casing. I ended up buying more than I should here. But ... at a huge savings. Barbour outlets are few and far between. NH has 2, including the factory clearance center in Milford, NH which is 20 minutes away. This is more of a warehouse because it is attached to the place Barbour does all the rewaxing and alterations on items in North America. So they often have racks of somewhat damaged items at 70% off and special sales where jackets are $30. The outlet in Merrimack is classier and more of a traditional store, whereas the clearance factory outlet in Milford is more of a warehouse sale. If you are shopping in northern MA/southern NH, it's a great outlet mall to walk around and this store is always worth a stop when I am in the area.

Maryse was the only employee working on what turned out to be a fairly busy night but everyone felt welcomed, and we all got our needs met. My daughter and I had no idea what sizes we needed but Maryse was able to help us find what we needed. It took awhile for us to pick out just what we wanted but she was so patient and helpful in suggesting styles and sizes that would work for both of us. This was THE BEST bra buying experience EVER! Maryse was professional but personable and we ended up saving a bundle because of the bra sale that was going on. I am thankful for the time and caring maryse put in for all of the customers that night. Kudos to Maryse!!
