You walk into Bobs and are treated liked family, hi hon what can I get you today, how are you doing today, and don't order until you give them an answer as to how you are doing. My husband is a meat lover! He found this place and is dying to try their meat . However, due to minimal space in the store, people have to line up and wait for the cashier in the aisle, which was very easy to be hidden and ignored. The cashier was rude and not happy to be corrected when the customers told her who came first! I don't care how good if your product it is. When you don't have compassion for what you do and don't have a smile to service your customers, you should not be working! Knew this place was right behind my house but never went in, until recently when my girlfriend wanted to get some pasta salad. We make deli/butcher runs here often now. We have never been disappointed with anything we have purchased here. The service is pretty quick and their Bob's chicken salad is terrific. Why would anyone go to Stop and Shop for meat when Bob's is a 5 minute drive away? There is no excuse. They have a wide variety of meats and cuts to choose from and will package them by the weight you prefer. There is also a choice is 16 different meat boxes to choose from that will give you a little bit of everything or a selection of different cuts for the same (ie the chicken box). Customer service is always quick and friendly at both the meat and check out counter. A wonderful bonus- Bob's takes EBT! The last couple of times I've got the boneless chicken, I found connective tissue still attached, and it gets woody and stringy when I make my jerky. Even running it through my jerky slicer, there are "strings" that don't cut through, like a sewing thread, that I have to break to separate the pieces. The first orders I got here were fantastic. No complaints, but lately it's not as "clean." I don't know why. It is still MUCH cleaner than from a supermarket, and I pay the price because of that. But, I wish they'd be as careful as they were when I started buying there. Perhaps a new wholesale, or a new butcher? I don't know. I just know that the quality has lowered. read more

My husband went in for an Italian sub but decided to purchase the rhe meats from them to make the subs. I have to say it was some of the best quality meats we have purchased. Each time we made a sub it felt like we were getting it from an Italian restaurant. The meat was fresh and tasted great. In the past I have purchased some of their pre-game appetizers and they were reasonably priced and quality food. I will now only buy my sandwich meats from this place. read more

Parking is terrible. The staff is so-so. Like most local places in New England, if you haven't been a patron for 25 years and they don't recognize you, they give you a bit of an attitude. The 'woman' waiting on me (40+, lots of tattoos, and too many piercings) barked out 'what else' with every request like I was having her do me some huge favor. She was waiting for me to look for my order as she piled all of my items on the counter, which was difficult to reach. Gee, sorry I don't know the exact drill. I guess the regulars' money is greener than mine. As far as the steak tips, put it this way, I miss Mr. Steer in Londonderry, NH!! A total throwback. I love it. Small market in the middle of a neighborhood. Great butcher shop, lots of prepared foods, subs, nice little selection of vegetables. Also has baked goods from Bacchini's in Pawtucket (which is pretty good) and beer and wine. You could stop here after work and grab everything you need for a full dinner, drinks, and dessert, and grab something for lunch tomorrow. A fantastic corner store butcher. This is a local favorite nestled a few streets behind down town North Attleboro. Thankfully a neighbor told me about this great family owned corner store. I try to buy as many things in the market as I can including their excellent prepared meals. Their meat selection is top-notch and the staff is very friendly and courteous.
