Their tailor did an AMAZING job fixing the waist of my trousers, which had been totally butchered by another so-called tailor. I dropped off my dry cleaning and the trousers when she wasn't there, so I didn't even get a chance to try them on for her. Somehow, she fixed them perfectly anyway--they fit like a glove around my waist! Their dry cleaning is always superb, too. I recently relocated almost 7 miles away from Bob's Cleaners, but I still make the drive because they're the only ones I trust with my clothes. Great prices, excellent work, and even better people. Highly recommend! read more

I genuinely did not expect my experience to get worse, but if I could lower my review, I would. I got a phone call from Bob's yesterday saying that I had items that were never picked up from the same drop off as my rugs. Over a year ago. So in addition to ruining two rugs and having me pay full price for the them and not offering any discount or any apology, they proceeded to just never call me about my other items to let me know that they were available. I had assumed that they also got ruined. I really wouldn't recommend going here if you expect to get your items back in a timely fashion or the same color that you dropped them off as. To top it all off they're not actually that clean so I'm not quite sure what I paid $90 for. read more

When my 30+ year dry cleaner retired, I had no idea of where to go until my neighbor said "BOB'S!!!!" Wow! I miss my retired cleaners but Bob is the best! Fast, efficient and so kind! Just one star to the owner manager lady and tailor in the store. They upset me so much that I am not even writing down the details of my experience as recalling them would really bring back the whole memory of it all while leaving the store in tears. Definitely dishonest and incapable people to the core. I do not recommend. Especially the tailor lady who after keeping a dress for alteration for one week did a bad and quick job right before I picked up living me to having to redo the repairs on my own and after having to pay. read more

*** BEWARE!!! SCAMMING!!! *** NEW OWNERSHIP! ** I've been bringing my clothes for years, to either be dry cleaned or tailored or repaired. I believe they SOLD OFF this business because the owners i used to always see are no longer there and some lady took over and has no idea what she's doing. I had left a large dry cleaning order a while back and she called saying it was ready. When I came to pick up the order she only had a final price when I asked for the prices of each service or an itemized receipt she mentioned that it was not available because they changed the computer systems and the "old system" only has the details of my order. funny no?! And to top it off she told me when I picked up the order there was 8 items total and that I picked up 3 items already and didn't pay when I picked them up so I'm paying for 8 items when I only had 5 in hand. Then she calls me and says she found another 3 items that where missing... and charged me AGAIN!!!! read more

The old Asian man is a scammer. I've been coming for one year and he's always cranky and never greets you and usually charges $55. Literally I came last week and this was the rate for the exact same comforter. Today out of the blue he argues with me and decides to charge $75. First he said the $55 rate was for new customers. Then I told him ive been coming for 1yr and he says he's been "giving me a discount." What a liar and a fraud. Just making stuff up as he goes. Absolutely do not recommend coming here and will not be back. He has no customer service skills and my comforter was not fully clean there was hair in my bag that was visible that he tried to convince me was just lint(Photo attached). Then he started shouting, "I'm the best" like he was senile. Avoid coming here if you can. read more

We've been going here since we moved to the neighbourhood in 2018 and cannot recommend it enough. The owner, Jay, and his small staff are some of the nicest people you'll meet. We have always found them to be on time, with professional cleaning services that always deliver. Zero complaints. Would trust them with any garment. Even our dog is a big fan, probably because every time we go, he gets lots of pets and treats from Jay. read more

It was hard finding a good dry cleaners when I moved here..the other places I've tried out were either ridiculously expensive, or took longer than normal to get my clothes done. Took my white leather jacket to a million cleaners to get rid of foundation around the neck. Paid outrageous amounts of money and always returned with the same stain. Bob cured it, for a fraction of the price! Bob is incredible and stands behind his work. I will not take my clothes anywhere but Bob's. And his prices are unbeatable to boot! Don't waste your time with other cleaners- Bob is the best & only one to trust. read more

used this place regularly, but they lost an article of clothing and said they never had it. They found it one week later. The same thing happened again with a very expensive piece of clothing. Claimed I never brought it in. I turned my closet upside down. They found it one month later. No apology. Not professional. Never going again. read more

My husband and I have been going to this location for about 2 years when we started to realize they started to steal our clothes or misplace it. I am missing three items and I asked the owner about it several times and he had no explanation and said it wasn't his fault. I'd go here with caution! They don't believe the costumer is right and argued with me regarding the items that were missing. One item was a white pencil skirt, another was a beyond yoga work out sweater, and another was a white dress with the back open with palm trees. All items GONE! And never returned! When I went to drop off the items the woman who counted our items said she thought some of the items were cute. So I am assuming they were either misplaced or taken with no explanation. I'm highly disappointed in this place and there was no return of our items! Or an apology. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

My new camel colored coat that I purchased in Berlin this past fall was burned/over heated when first dry cleaned at Bob's. I noticed the subtle discoloration when I picked it up, especially on the edges, but didn't say anything. Second time cleaning the coat now, and decided to go to another cleaner where they told me that the discoloration was damage from dry cleaning. I think Bob's is mediocre at best, and have had to point out stains that weren't removed. My clothes actually look much cleaner when I hand wash. Tailoring services are also just mediocre at best. She'll adjust the main issue, but then another area of the garment will fit differently. read more

Avoid avoid avoid! Be sure to tell them specifically that you want clothes clean. I picked up my clothes covered in plastic, smelled like a dirty laundry basket. Just covered in plastic, no cleaning. They said, sorry we had your clothes for a week and could not clean AFTER I paid. They said sorry we can not clean today our machine is broken until next week. There are other places around town, please do not go here. Ugh. Now I have to spend another $300 on a new outfit for my event I was prepping for all week. read more

I guess since I've already used the services here twice so considered a "regular" on Yelp, I should write a review. It merits a good review anyway since Bob, I'm pretty sure that's the name of the owner guy who helps and serves us every time we come here, is chill. I brought in a bunch of dress shirts and he was suggesting that they should be dry cleaned instead of laundered because then he could really detail it and take out all the stains and ring around the collar crud most dress shirts tend to get. If you just throw it in the laundry, it tends to make the stains permanent so dry cleaning is best. I suppose I already knew that but of course, dry cleaning costs a bit more than laundry but having nice looking shirts is important so the $4/piece dry cleaning cost is worth it. They also do tailoring if you need it. I've found my go-to dry cleaning joint. Will be back. read more

Greatest and- by far- cheapest dry cleaners in Hollywood/ West Hollywood! Where do I begin? 1- Bob is always there. I think his hours are 7:30 - 7:30, as he is Always there. For anyone that works 'normal hours', need I say more? I will... 2- Not only are the prices incredibly reasonable (and he always knocks the price down to the nearest dollar) - Sweet Bob takes cash and credit! 3- The service is amazing. Clothes come back looking great- no problems whatsoever! 4- Alterations are not that bad. I've never met the tailor but she's taken care of a couple minor fixes wonderfully. I cannot say enough about Bob's. I am literally looking in my closet for items that could use a visit to the dry cleaners! He is a great and kind man and I will be coming back here as long as he's in business! read more

Oh Bob. I've been going to Bob's since I moved to the Los Feliz area about 5 years ago. Initially I was looking for a dry cleaner who was not only convenient but competent in both dry cleaning and tailoring. Bob's Cleaners fit the bill on all my prerequisites. Located on the north side of Franklin Blvd. just across the street from Gelson's, Bob's is in the perfect spot as I drive to get on the 101 freeway when I'm going to work in the morning. While the parking lot is shared with Locali and various other establishments, I've never had an issue finding a spot out front as Bob put's out a sign reserving a spot for his customers. Service at Bob's has always been on point and without so much as an issue over the last few years. Dry cleaning, pressing and spot removal have all been done in a professional manner and pricing has been value oriented. I've personally never had an issue with an item being lost or destroyed but I believe there is that possibility in this line of work. Furthermore, if you're looking for someone to do your clothing alterations, the tailor that works there, Jenny, is extremely capable. I've had t-shirts, raw denim jeans and button up shirts hemmed and the work has always been top notch, and again, of considerable value when compared to other dry cleaning establishments in the area. Lastly, if you're of the sensitive type and easily flummoxed because of your lack of social skills, be forewarned that Bob while mostly friendly, can be rather cantankerous at times but he's a good dude in my book. read more

Fantastic service. Two days before I had to fly out to a friend's wedding, it dawned on me that I should have my suit cleaned. I called ahead to make sure I'm not asking the impossible, but they assured me they could get it done by the next day. I took them up on it and didn't regret it. I brought in a suit, two shirts, a jacket and an extra pair of pants. At least some of these items had heavy mystery stains on it, and one of the shirts had a nasty yellow collar. When I picked them up, they all looked like brand new. I tried to tip the guy for the rush job, but he wouldn't take more than 2 dollars. Definitely coming back here. read more

Great service Bob is a great guy! Easy parking!! Seems the smaller cleaners in the area take more care of your things. Got my shirts fitted and cleaned here and price was very good for the quality. Also I took my boots for repair here yesterday and it was done today. Perfect service! read more

I love bobs. I have been using his services for 6 years. Sadly I am moving away from the area and will have to find a new dry cleaners. I love bobs because he will take the time and care to get the stains out of your clothes. Even if he thinks it's impossible, he'll try anyway and he usually succeeds. At least in my experience. The other completely wonderful thing about bobs is he isn't like other dry cleaners where he donates your clothes after not showing up to claim them for a month. No he will hold onto them for months! I kind of think he might even hold onto them until you come back for them, be it a month or a few years. He's an incredibly sweet man and the woman who does the alterations is very skilled. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. read more

This is the neighborhood cleaners of your dreams. They do impeccable work and I always leave smiling with my sparkling clothing, because they also happen to be the most thoughtful and gracious people! This is the kind of small business we all hold dear. I regret this quarantine has, among other things, made it so I'm not wearing clothes that need dry cleaning, but my biggest community concern over here in Franklin Village is keeping this dear family's dry cleaning place intact. So let's all show them the love! And I look forward to making my weekly errands there again soon :) read more

WORST alteration experience EVER. First, they misplaced my pants that I brought in for hemming, found them the day I was to pick them up, but did not bother to call me and tell me this, requiring me to go in twice. Oh, and no apology for their SNAFU. Secondly, it was the aboslute WORST hemming job in the history of pants. One pair was about 3-1/2 inches shorter than they were supposed to be PLUS, the stitching holes from the old hem showed on the outside along the bottom. So basically, they ruined my pants after making me wait. Do not take things here for alterations, is all I can say. Especially when you can bring them to Holly Hills on Bronson on the other side of Mayfair/Gelson's and get a great job on time for half the price!! read more
