Ah a New Mexico staple, Bob's Burgers. And no I'm not talking about the animation on adult swim. I'm talking good ol New Mexico Taco Burgers. Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my face. Since I moved here so many eons ago this place has been one of the New Mexico staples right next to Blakes Lotaburger. A personal favorite day to go for me is on Tuesdays. Why? Well it's taco Tuesday every Tuesday there. At a buck forty a pop those bad boys will tame and satisfy even the greatest of hungers. At first glance the taco burger doesn't seem like much but it packs a punch. An all American beef patty snuggled between a slice of cheese, their famous green chili sauce, and lettuce it's a delicious treat. Food is mediocre, at best. Be careful of ordering on line, they will forget a part order or mess something up. Additionally they charge a $1 online ordering fee. What a joke. read more

Amazing burgers. I was driving around and stopped mainly because of the name. I ordered my meal right at closing, but they still served me. I'm grateful for that. I would prefer it if they made their hours much more visible instead of on a small piece of paper. That-a-ways a last-minute order doesn't happen as frequently. read more

Only the locals know this place has the best green chile. Taco burgers are usually my go to but lots of people don't know how amazing the patty melts with rye bread are. Dont forget to get to upgrade your meal to include green chile cheese fries because we can all use some more green chile. Nothing hits the spot more than a Taco Burger from Bobs Burger! A juicy burger patty tucked inside a crunchy taco shell topped with delicious 505 green Chile sauce and shredded lettuce!! I finally tried their breakfast. It was really amazing! I got the bacon burrito with green chile, and then got it smothered in green chile and cheese. I also got the ranchero hash browns also smothered in green chile. The burrito alone was enough for me. I was only able to take 3 bites of the ranchero hash browns. So next time, all I am getting is the burrito. The only thing I didn't like was that the hash browns didn't have any seasoning. So I need to remember to get some salt and pepper before I leave. I never realized how spicy their green chile is. One of the comments I've seen a lot is how inconsistent they are when they give you green chile. Sometimes you get a lot, and sometimes you get very little. They gave me A LOT on my burrito. read more

Wow! Ok, so I wasn't even hungry. I was brought here against my will and had no plan of ordering. My cousin convinced me to get a taco burger and I agreed. We also ordered chili cheese fries (with lettuce and tomatoes on top). As most of you know, it's all about Chiles, here. So, for the tacos and the fries, we ordered with the red Chile sauce. We sat in the car and ate it as soon as it was ready. (They aren't allowing dine in during Covid.) There are patio chairs outside but we opted to eat in the car. Small location. The inside is covered with handwritten or typed signs that makes this establishment look ghetto. I ordered green chile cheese fries & they were delicious. They were not stingy with their toppings so each fry was covered in green chile & cheese. You won't get the fanciest dining or friendliest service but you will get some good food. read more

This location is close to my house but I would go to this location anyway. I have had nothing but positive experiences here coming here. I usually call in the order and not only is the staff here awesome but our food is always fresh and tastes great! Everyone always has smile on their face and eager to help you out. Found this place on Yelp. When Oliver and Chris found out we had never been here before they gave great suggestions and insisted we sample the chili and the green chili cheese sauce, wow! We let Oliver and Chris decide what we were having for lunch and it was yummy, fast and inexpensive. The employees wet very nice and so were the customers. The first time I tried Bobs I was so excited to eat there because I had heard so many good things about the food. I was disappointed but believed I should have gotten the famous taco burger. So this time when I went back because I believe in second chances to wow me they did and then some. I ordered the combo D which has to taco burgers, fries and a drink. I got the chills on the side because I'm not a native and oh my stomach. Long story. Lol. They were delicious and I even tried putting some of the chill on them. Super good and fresh. The fries were freshly cooked. You could tell they weren't sitting around. Loved Bobs this time and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in my favorite Southwest town. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your money. My husband and I paid over $12 for two green chile cheese burger combos and the burgers were a joke. Lettuce, tomato, cheese etc were in the description but we got two pathetic naked little patties with a teaspoon of green chile and that was it. The patty was paper thin. Nothing else but bun. The best thing here, in my opinion, are the taco burgers. They taste great with the green chile on them too. There are some Bob's Burgers locations that seem pretty scary with some shady people that are always around, but this location is pretty nice. The chocolate shakes here are also good too. read more

Too bad I can't give minus stars... We ate here recently and had the worst fast food customer service possible by Oliver and crew. Congratulations to this team on a job NOT well done. Never before had we been treated like we don't matter and that our presence is unwelcome. No matter how pleasant we were and the questions we asked, Oliver responses were so minimal, rude and gave us dirty looks like we were supposed know the menu items. He served us our order like we were some low life's off the street that he just wanted to get us out of the store. All of our tacos were broken like they had been thrown into the bag. In my opinion, one of the better places in Albuquerque to grab yourself a "fast" burger. Every time I have visited, the order was ready usually within five minutes, regardless of the amount of business. The chile definitely has a bit of a kick to it, which makes for an enjoyable experience for my taste buds. I don't eat hear all the time, but if is suggested as a destination to satisfy my hunger, I am never opposed. I think if you haven't been by yet, you should give it a try and judge for yourself. read more

Nope! I admit I came here purely off the name alone 'Bobs Burgers'. So I went for the sign 'home of the ranchero burger' nope! 'Green chile' was smothered on like goop. This is a great place, the burgers are better than most and the chili as you can see in other reviews is an it you will love.

I find it funny that this place has a thumbnail photo of a toilet on their description, because that's where I spent most of the day after I ate their food. I think you need a stomach of steel to handle this food. The green chile looks like ectoplasm. read more

Tortilla burgers are amazing. Green chili cheese fries are awesome they pack on the cheese. Taco Tuesday is a great deal 1.09 for one. The only thing that is bad about this place is the refills are 50 cents which doesn't make sense cause everything else is reasonably priced. I'm not sure If Bob's turns their phone line off during lunch hr cuz I tried calling multiple times at multiple locations and didn't get through. I came in to place the order. It was speedy service but they forgot a few things. I ordered a side of green Chile for the fries, a side of tomatoes and neither were in the bag but I was charged . I also ordered 9 taco burgers and one of them did not have meat. I cannot call since their line is still busy and I dont have time to go back. read more

When it comes to fast food this must be one of the best I have been to. Their Rancheo Burger is just a must! A very local flare about it, fast but as most places in ABQ go especially fast food, we have the awesome decor of bars to protect the staff in the kitchen. But thats ABQ, and this place still has the best fast food burger I have ever ate! GO! read more
