Simple. Delicious. Quick. There is little more you can ask for from a meal like this. Nice tender beef with veggies and good flavours. There are options for rice or noodle and extras like a fried egg on top. I'm definitely opting for the egg next time. It's a nice, warm filling meal that is no fuss! Minimal seating, so its more of a takeout spot!

Recommend for a quick and affordable Korean comfort meal. We tried the spicy beef bulgogi and beef bibimbap. Both were authentic and tasty and the price was reasonable. Lots of fresh veg in the bibimbap and it was plated nicely. Owner was nice as well. If you're looking to dine in, be aware that the dining area consists of two counters with barstools and the area is not very large. The smell from the kitchen also travels so your clothing will smell like bulgogi by the end of your meal. Just something to note if you're returning to the office or meeting people afterwards.

While on vacation in Toronto, I needed a Korean food fix. Bob's Bulgogi was within walking distance from my hotel so decided to give it a try. My family and I got there 20 mins before they closed. It seems like more of a take out place, but they had about 8 bar stools to dine in-which we did. We ordered bibimbap and udon stir fry noodles. The noodles were a hit with my kids. Perfect amount of noodles to meat and vegetable ratio. The flavor was great- not too spicy or salty. Bibimbap was delicious as well. It didn't come with traditional bibimbap vegetables, but we liked it! The owners were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I was concerned about a Korean restaurant with the name Bob in it. I thought to myself, don't tell me this is cultural appropriation. Thankfully it was not. The restaurant is run by Korean staff. The restaurant is tiny! It's definitely a take-out restaurant and only has seating for 4. If you do decide to stay here, you'll be in the way of customers waiting for their take-out orders. The line up gets pretty long and you have to wait quite a bit. There are only 2 people cooking the food and the cashier does double duty building orders. The food was decent. I definitely enjoyed the seasoning on the beef. It was flavorful and tender. The other ingredients had very little flavor, but that's expected. I thought that the sunny-side up egg was a little overcooked. The dish comes with a cup of hot sauce to add flavor. Overall, the bibimbap is just ok.

Close to my work. You can smell it before you enter. If you don't want your clothings to smell like in the kitchen, don't go in. Expect a line at lunch time. Don't expect the line to be too quick. They made to order. They know how to marinate the meat correctly. Let me keep this short: 1 - Go for beef, not chicken and definitely not the tofu (made that mistake once and will never do it again) 2 - Go for rice, not noodles. 3 - Go for spicy (that is average mild). 4 - Don't even bother getting bimbimbop (in a foil container from the fridge at the back, not order to make). 5 - Get the free miso soup on your way out (or when you are waiting in line). Service is OK. Don't imagine they will remember you as they are so busy and crowded. Don't think of sit and dine there. They did have a table there but you are better off going to the food

I've been coming here for years (nearly 10) but I had a craving and made my way down to this awesome joint. Small, quaint and awesome local spot. Portions are generous, economical and most importantly, delicious. Bonus? Complementary Miso Soup The owners are absolutely lovely and always so kind. I really recommend this place and hope that those around the Eaton Centre make a quick stop here for some delish food.

It's our go to spot for lunch, we have already been there several times. Don't get scare away by the line, its pretty worth the wait. But honestly please get a bigger place, u are such a popular restaurant already but the place the tiny. It's so crowded and it's hard to breathe in there. My fav combo is spicy beef bulgogi rice/udon with sunny side egg on top!! DO NOT FORGET THE EGG it is amazing!!!!!! They also give u free miso with the purchase of bulgogi, u just have to serve urself!

I was really hungry and so I decided to come here after lunch hour to try this place out. At that time, I think they ran out of free miso soup, from what I read in the reviews that they usually give out. When I went there, there were no customers so I ordered right away. I got the spicy bulgogi with rice and had to wait around 10-15 minutes to make which could mean that they make the food to order during that time. The food come piping hot and I devoured it within minutes. It was a splendid portion, the bulgogi was not that spicy and also it was enough to fill me up for the day. Service was also quick and friendly though I did not really interact with them as much.

Although the address of this restaurant says Victoria, it's actually located around the corner on Richmond St. I was planning on dining in, but there was only seating for about 4 people. The menu included both vegetarian and meat options. I went with beef bulgogi for $8. It was a generous portion of tender bulgogi beef stir fried with vegetables (onion, carrots, green and red bell peppers, and mushrooms) over rice. The sauce was on the sweet side, but maybe because I went with the mild version instead of spicy. A small side of kimchi is also included. The service was fast. There's a self serve miso station (broth) where you can scoop your own miso that comes with every entree. You can also add some green onion to the soup.

Small and homey that's what I describe Bob's Bulgogi. If you do decide to stay, there are these 2 small tables that can barely fit 2 comfortably! Don't bring your date here.. or maybe you should if you want to be close to enough other?! Beef Bulgogi ($6.95) cooked right in front of you when ordered does smell good. I like how it is served on a real plate! Portion is decent for the price. Deco is quite neat with dark interior and funky keepsakes all around. Bob's Bulgogi is definitely A-OK if you have a snack attack in the area!

Went to Bob's bulgogi during lunch and it was hella packed! Had to wait around 20+ mins to order and get my food. The smell of bbq smoke can be overwhelming inside; and you will end up smelling like Chinese food when you leave the place. The food is mediocre and it's priced pretty decently! It was a bit too oily to my liking but that's expected for korean food. The bulgogi was flavourful but would've been better with more sauce.

Very fast service, the food was of good quality (didn't taste greasy or leave an oily film in your mouth) and a good amount of food for one person. Only thing is the air- it's stifling and hard to breathe upon first entry because of the smoke, so if you have trouble breathing keep that in mind. You get used to it after a bit.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto, Bob's Bulgogi hides on a side street in a very un-assuming and modest location. The place is very small and can only seat about 8 people. Whether you eat here or not doesn't matter though, as the real draw is the awesome food coming out of the kitchen. Per the name, Bulgogi is the special here. I had an order with shrimp and it was excellent. Just the right amount of spice, delicious shrimp and a pretty generous portion overall. I was also one of the lucky few able to eat onsite. I sat at a table facing the kitchen. The place can get jam packed at lunch time as you can imagine, so getting here a little before or after the lunch rush can make all the difference. Either way, you're in for a delicious and authentic meal.

Portion was so big that you would be full, and might have to doggy bag. Most importantly, food tasted good. Short ribs stew had many pieces of beef. Squids hot plate was saucy. It wasn't too spicy, so it was good for me (menu didn't have a chilli sign either). For people who like it hot, you can ask for some chilli sauce.
