They replaced the engine in my old truck and it started throwing all kinds of codes and stalling at highway speeds. Brought it to them again and it took them a week to replace the crankshaft sensor. Okay I understand it was difficult to get it out. But it did nothing and they still charged me $$$$. Bought a cheap code scanner and figured out I have maf and knock sensor codes. Replaced the MAF sensor myself and boom no more stalling. Something that took them many days to fail to figure out. Knock sensors are much more difficult on 5.3L so I had to take the intake off. Intake manifold bolts are all torqued differently by them. The hose to brake booster had no clamp on the end of it so if the hose pops off I would kinda lose brakes. They also put cheapest no name knock sensors in it. No voltage reading with my multimeter when you knock on it. Replaced with AC Delco. Now my truck finally works well. Just agreeing with all those that said complimentary things. This was my father's mechanic many years ago, which was the last time I had service there. They are extremely friendly and even came out to the house once many years ago when the car wouldn't start, and it was freezing cold outside that day! You get what you pay for. Cheap prices, cheap work. Had to take my car back multiple times because his shop couldn't resolve the original problem. While the car was in the shop he upsold me on repairs that he said were a safety concern if they weren't done. After placing the upsold parts on they finally figured out what the original problem was. After 3 trips back and forth and a lot of money later the original problem was a catastrophic failure that couldn't be repaired. He did return money for labor but I lost money on the parts he upsold me on that I originally didn't need. read more

I miss Bob and Lori! Bob repaired my cars from 1995 (before he even had a shop) until I left Cleveland. Actually, I drove my car up from DC after I moved to get it repaired. I trust Bob and every suggestion he makes. If you want to get a buyers inspection on a car you are considering buying, Bob can also recommend buying or not buying the vehicle after he looks it over. There is not a better, more trustworthy mechanic in Cleveland. You would also find his work to be much more economical than other shops.
