They replaced the engine in my old truck and it started throwing all kinds of codes and stalling at…read morehighway speeds. Brought it to them again and it took them a week to replace the crankshaft sensor. Okay I understand it was difficult to get it out. But it did nothing and they still charged me $$$$. Bought a cheap code scanner and figured out I have maf and knock sensor codes. Replaced the MAF sensor myself and boom no more stalling. Something that took them many days to fail to figure out. Knock sensors are much more difficult on 5.3L so I had to take the intake off. Intake manifold bolts are all torqued differently by them. The hose to brake booster had no clamp on the end of it so if the hose pops off I would kinda lose brakes. They also put cheapest no name knock sensors in it. No voltage reading with my multimeter when you knock on it. Replaced with AC Delco. Now my truck finally works well. That's all you need to know about Bob's Automotive.

So I googled the nearest place and Valvoline showed up. So away I went to get my oil change. I'm glad I did. The staff member was friendly and enjoyable to watch do his job. The one thing I've never seen before was how they drain the oil. They actually suck the oil up through the fill tube. I asked why. And was told it actually makes it easier and prevents problems with the drain pan bolt. I can see that. And to be honest. These oil change quick places do have a bad reputation. So for Valvoline to come up with this. I am impressed.

He has solved every issue within my past 7 cars (all makes and models) and continue to do so with my current car. He'll assess your car's problem, let you know the cost of repair, obtain your confirmation before going through with fixing your car. He'll also order a necessary car part (again with your confirmation) if he doesn't immediately have it. You may wait in their office for oil changes, which take about 15 minutes, and cover regular maintenance. You may also make an appointment for most repairs, which are resolved within a few days. They do all the little extras too like WD40 the door hinges, air up the tires, etc. And number one - they are fast. You don't even have to get out of your car. I needed a new air filter so they told me it would be $17 after looking up a replacement just like the one I had. Then ended up they don't make that exact one anymore but it had been in the system. I took my car last Thursday to the Take 5 on Broadview Rd, in Broadview Hts Ohio for a simple oil change. The mechanic told me I need coolant added. I said OK because I was trusting and figured he wouldn't take advantage of an olderly women. I am 72 by the way. So, after agreeing to this service at the cost of $145.99 ,I woke up the next morning to find coolant all over my garage floor. I immediately took my car by the Take 5 and after examining my car he said that he had damaged a gasket while putting the coolant in and could not fix and directed me to call corporate after he called his boss. This happened April 23rd So, I did that and was told someone would get back to me in 4-6. What, 4-6 days, totally unacceptable! She said ,nothing else I could do. You mean to tell me that Take 5 has that many claims against them that it would take that long, with no one to talk to about a rental car or anything. In my frustration and research I was able to find out the district manager in charge of my case so I emailed him multiply times I still have heard nothing. Meanwhile my car is sitting in the driveway leaking coolant and I am not supposed to drive it. This the worst company and customer service I have ever come in to contact with. Do not go to any Take 5 Oil's !! I really hope the CEO of Take 5 who I think is this Marc Graham as well as Danny Rivera who owns Driven Brands who owns Take 5 all read this and make some changes. Your guys run a lousy business and should be ashamed of yourself for treating your customers in this way.
