Great service by friendly staff and amazing tea! The employee answered all my questions and helped me pick drinks that would be suit me. The mojito tea with popping boba was so refreshing! Also really enjoyed my Vietnamese coffee with less cream. It was very rich and flavorful and creamy!
Nice service. Cool flavors! My sons loved the Oreo milk tea with boba. I enjoyed the Earl grey milk tea with boba. The interior is pretty chic and cool. Loving the look with the green background. I like how they entertained the little kids in there also.
Very pleasantly surprised! The location is in a somewhat random location very close to Stratford High School off Dairy Ashford near I-10. We tried the taro smoothie with boba and it was quite good. It was very sweet which is what the standard should be. And it's the delicious interpretation of taro, not the real vegetable root. The service was fine. And the ambiance was cool with various board games you can play while sipping on your drink. Lastly, it's not as pricey as the big chains like Kung Fu Tea and Gong Cha. Worth a try!
Should have stuck w 2 Northern Lights. I don't like mint and didn't know the Coconut Kumquat with Aloe Vera has mint jello. I don't like mint. Hope I reminder to not get this again. Description does not look like it will have mint. It should be renamed. This drink will be tossed unfortunately.
The service was great! However, the portion size was a bit too small, the flavor was just okay, and the smoothie was too icy for my taste.

Ambiance: Interior seems to be designed for Instagram pictures. Except for that setup, everything else is average. Seating is awful. Service: It felt like they didn't care and we were the only customers in the store when we went. Boba: It was bad. We ordered Thai tea. It was so synthetic tasting. We had Thai tea from plenty of Boba places in Houston but never experienced such bad taste. We are not going back and we do not recommend this place to anyone. It's great if you want a picture for Instagram.

Been on a mission lately to try new tea houses and finally gave this place a try. Have to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about this place but I've now added it to my regular rotation. Located across the street from the high school, it's definitely worth a visit for those that enjoy a refreshing drink on a hot day. I've yet to try their milk teas, but based on the quality of the fruit teas, I'm sure it'll impress too. The price here is also very reasonable. As I mentioned in other reviews, other places are charging $6+ for smaller cups and sometimes lesser quality. Call me crazy, but I prefer when fresh fruit is used to make fruit teas. Orange pineapple tea 5/5 (50% sweet): Super refreshing on a hot day. Can taste the orange and pineapple and like that they don't dump orange juice in the tea and call it orange tea. Lychee rose tea 5+/5 (75% sweet): Wow! A new favorite. I love lychee and I love rose, so this combination is fantastic. I can taste both, and the balance of flavors is great. I've tried versions of this at other places and it comes off very artificial. Vietnamese coffee 4/5: I'm not a coffee drinker so not took a sip. It was good imo but don't have a lot to compare it against. Lychee Jamaica 4/5: I enjoyed the flavor quite a bit but wasn't sure if this was supposed to be a slushie or what. It seemed over blended to be a slushie and was almost more smoothie like. Will be back to try more drinks!
This location was featured as top 15 boba spots on the Houston chronicle website & since I consider myself the "king of boba" I figured I'll give place a try. Let's start with the service & decor. Cute aesthetically pleasing & Instagram worthy with well presented drinks. Service from the cashier was awesome as well, she was very patient & recommended all the popular drinks. Here's what I ordered. * lychee rose fruit tea with lychee jelly- such a refreshing drink & tasted like real lychee. However, far as the tea it was a bit weak. The jelly had a nice consistency. 3.5/5 * Vietnamese coffee with coffee jelly- Strong & had a fair share of bitterness to it. Great drink if you're trying to wake up or stay awake. The jelly tasted amazing. 4.8/5 * Mango milk tea (25% sugar)- I had high expectations for this drink unfortunately it tasted a bit watered down. The mango flavor was weak & so was the tea. Not sure if it was their off day or they were rushing but I was so disappointed. Considering mango is my go to drink this one was left to be desired. 2/5. Overall I was satisfied, I was expecting to give this place a 5 star but that mango milk tea was such a let down. Will I come back? Yep. Tip: they have board games just in case you want something to do.
I chase boba all over this city and today I ventured into a winner. My passion fruit ice blend was resplendent with fruit. The boba were perfectly rendered not overly rubbery and the service was quick and friendly. As an added plus their cups are superior to any boba holders I've encountered, sturdy, disposable and reusable? Divine!
This place was surprisingly good. I didn't have much expectations going in, but my drink--the coconut kumquat with aloe vera--tasted fresh and wasn't too sweet. I really liked the crunchy bits of coconut and kumquat halves that were in the drink. The minty jello was a surprise but i did not hate it. And the lychee rose was also very good. The price here is reasonable and is not $6+ like other boba shops.

I was on my hour lunch break and decided to drive around the area. I was not really hungry and decided, I could go for boba. As I was driving, I happened to see a boba shop and did a U-turn into Bobo Tea. It was a very quick visit but I was greeted happily once I reached the counter. I was a bit indecisive and decided to go with the Oreo milk tea. While I was waiting for my drink I did look around the store and really liked the drink murals and also the nice nature backdrop with their logo. Really nice cozy place and seating is spread out nicely. When I did get my drink I was surprised of the additional Oreo cookie on top. It was a really nice touch. The drink was good as well. The Oreo pieces are blended in nicely, the drink cup size is just right, and a good amount of boba too. Also what I liked was the drink cap that rotates to open or close. I came in around 11:00 which is the time they open. Overall, I will keep Bobo tea in mind if I am ever in a mood for something to drink. It's a much easier drive here then toward the opposite direction of boba shops that can get busy during lunch. I will come back again for sure. read more

4 for taste, nothing special really. I recommend you ask for extra less ice. Place is fairly new so they might not know that regular ice should be 3/4 of the cup which is normally the golden rule for normal drinks like at restaurant, movie theatre, etc. I recommend that they go to 1/2 ice for tapioca drinks or change to a different type of ice like other tapioca places. I had the Four Seasons Fruit Tea which I had to empty the cup full of ice before I can eat the fruit. My girlfriend enjoyed her Grasshopper Fruit Tea but again too much ice. Again too much ice and not enough tea! Ask for less ice or no ice! (Look at my photo) Overall the drinks were good, and we will come back to try other drinks (slushy or milk tea) BUT will being asking for less ice for sure RECOMMENDATION to OWNER, change your ice ratio for regular ice. read more

Great boba drinks. Refreshing, made with card and NOT TOO SWEET! I usually adjust my sweetness level at every boba place I go to... Not here. Everything is made to highlight the star.. TEA. THE NORTHERN LIGHTS is a favorite drink of mine. I like the flavors and of course, the look is beautiful. They have quick service and are always super respectful. (I sometimes feel bad when I make a last minute drive over and make it within 20 minutes of their closing... but the greet me with happy faces and still don't rush my tea(s). (By the way, bobo tea, if y'all are reading this.. I'm sorry that i keep coming in so close to your closing time! ) All in all, good boba for a good price. read more

Boba is great here. I have tried about 10 of their flavors and they're all pretty good. Not too sweet without having to adjust the sweetness level which is just the way I like it. My favorite though is the original milk tea. There's something different about it and it adds that extra depth that makes it so addicting. read more

I've been here 3 times in person and ordered 3 times delivery and drinks are always amazing! We've done group orders with co workers and they all rave how good the teas are! My favorite is lychee Rose. Teas are so flavorful, smoothies spot on, Vietnamese coffee nice and strong! It's a new favorite for the office now. read more

I got the peach delight (75% sweet). It has a nice tea taste that wasn't overwhelming. They told me it was a sweet drink so I got 75%. The dirty milk tea was good. The boba was nice and chewy. read more

I would give 0 stars if i could. Passed by this place many times and was so excited to try. I drink boba a lot and love to try out all places. I ordered both of their specialty drinks, Brown Sugar Organic Milk with Boba and Northern Lights, and how are both of them BLAND? Watered down with so much ice and just has no flavor. They should taste their own drinks before giving it to customers lol very disappointed and do not recommend. I'm sorry, but this has to be the worst boba place i've had in Houston. read more
Very cute little shop with the nicest workers. I ordered an orange pineapple with 50% sugar and it was very refreshing. Perfect for the scorching TX heat. I ordered my friends the lychee jamaica and lychee rose and they both really enjoyed it. The lychee will overpower but still taste phenomenal. I wish this place was closer but I will stop by whenever I'm in the area!! read more

Friendly staff! They're located off Katy fwy which is a drive for me, but when I find myself on that side of town I was take advantage. I usually get the coffee milk tea with boba, which is sooo good. I love that the cups are a strong plastic which you can clean it and re use it for other things and it has a nitro lid so you can use a straw or not depending on your preference read more

I have to say that this is the best boba I've had in Houston so far! There are a lot of drink options, but I would recommend getting a Passion Fruit Lemonade with Green Apple Jelly and Tapioca. I will definitely be coming back! read more
I always come to Bellaire for milktea/tea but now i dont need to go that far. Whenever i go to gongcha, sharetea, presotea, 85, etc. I normally have to adjust the sugar level since they're sweet even at regular level, but with Bobo Tea i dont need to do that their tea is not too strong, if you're looking for strong tea taste, i dont think you would like this place but for me it's perfect. I love their grapefruit green tea, coconut kumquat with aloe (taste as same i got in Vietnam just without aloe and jelly), Vietnamese coffee is good but not my favorite. Their signature milktea and oolong tea with milk foam are normal, nothing special comparing with other places. I came when they're about to closed (about 30mins) and the lady (I believe she's a owner) is really nice, friendly and helpful for me since I said it's my first time coming. Since this place nears my house then I definitely come back and become a regular customer lol read more

BOBO TEA IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! their boba itself is DELICIOUS and the fruit tea slushes are AMAZE. the workers are so kind and will always help you find something you enjoy!! it's always so clean and smells so nice in here. the aesthetic is so calming and homey. one specific worker in particular is the SWEETEST!! she's accommodating and welcoming! 10/10 reccomend! cant express it enough!!! the watermelon juice with lime popping boba is my favorite! read more
