I was on my hour lunch break and decided to drive around the area. I was not really hungry and decided, I could go for boba. As I was driving, I happened to see a boba shop and did a U-turn into Bobo Tea. It was a very quick visit but I was greeted happily once I reached the counter. I was a bit indecisive and decided to go with the Oreo milk tea. While I was waiting for my drink I did look around the store and really liked the drink murals and also the nice nature backdrop with their logo. Really nice cozy place and seating is spread out nicely. When I did get my drink I was surprised of the additional Oreo cookie on top. It was a really nice touch. The drink was good as well. The Oreo pieces are blended in nicely, the drink cup size is just right, and a good amount of boba too. Also what I liked was the drink cap that rotates to open or close. I came in around 11:00 which is the time they open. Overall, I will keep Bobo tea in mind if I am ever in a mood for something to drink. It's a much easier drive here then toward the opposite direction of boba shops that can get busy during lunch. I will come back again for sure. read more

4 for taste, nothing special really. I recommend you ask for extra less ice. Place is fairly new so they might not know that regular ice should be 3/4 of the cup which is normally the golden rule for normal drinks like at restaurant, movie theatre, etc. I recommend that they go to 1/2 ice for tapioca drinks or change to a different type of ice like other tapioca places. I had the Four Seasons Fruit Tea which I had to empty the cup full of ice before I can eat the fruit. My girlfriend enjoyed her Grasshopper Fruit Tea but again too much ice. Again too much ice and not enough tea! Ask for less ice or no ice! (Look at my photo) Overall the drinks were good, and we will come back to try other drinks (slushy or milk tea) BUT will being asking for less ice for sure RECOMMENDATION to OWNER, change your ice ratio for regular ice. read more

Awful customer service. We will not be returning. I came with my young children and was recommended the passion fruit tea lemonade. Hearing "lemonade", my 8 yo ordered it. We were not told there was caffeine in the drink. Else, I wouldn't have let my child order it. When I told the manager of the mistake and my child can not drink caffeine, she was unsympathetic and callous with her response. Manager insisted I should know by it's name it says "tea". When in actuality, there are plenty of caffeine free "teas". And why market it to children? I asked if she can remake my child another drink. She said no and that I would have to pay again. Very cute little shop with the nicest workers. I ordered an orange pineapple with 50% sugar and it was very refreshing. Perfect for the scorching TX heat. I always come to Bellaire for milktea/tea but now i dont need to go that far. Whenever i go to gongcha, sharetea, presotea, 85, etc. I normally have to adjust the sugar level since they're sweet even at regular level, but with Bobo Tea i dont need to do that their tea is not too strong, if you're looking for strong tea taste, i dont think you would like this place but for me it's perfect. I love their grapefruit green tea, coconut kumquat with aloe (taste as same i got in Vietnam just without aloe and jelly), Vietnamese coffee is good but not my favorite. Their signature milktea and oolong tea with milk foam are normal, nothing special comparing with other places. I came when they're about to closed (about 30mins) and the lady (I believe she's a owner) is really nice, friendly and helpful for me since I said it's my first time coming.
