I went there and ordered an chorizo belt buster. He didn't give me my receipt and nobody at the counter could help me. The cooks told me to ask the counter for my receipt. The person at the counter: a combative, redneck, with a chopped beard told me that i had to wait at the end of line. I told him that I already ordered and that I should have had my food 30 minutes ago. The cashier, an older guy who had no respect, told me that, "this is how we have been doing it for years." So, I left angry without my food. This is something that I hate about this gas station. I get drinks from this gas station everyday and the older dude is always so disrespectful. I've never had such widely differing experiences at a single place. We live in San Antonio and come to town a few times a month to enjoy the river. In the past we usually bring our own food and snacks but a few weeks ago we decided to check out a few local establishments. Our first time here we were blown away! Had I reviewed them right away they would have gotten 5 stars. We came on a weekend afternoon and were pleased with every item we received, 3 carnitas tacos, the best most flavorful carnitas I have ever had, 2 deshebrada tacos, again so yummy and flavorful, 2 excellent steak taco and a loaded, cheesy and tasty chicken quesadilla. We were impressed with all of it and couldn't wait to return. The wait had been a little busy and most of the other folks there had ordered online so we decided to order online next time. We made a return trip about a week and a half later, around 2pm on a Thursday. Placed the order online. Added sour cream and avocado to a few tacos. Recalling how good the food was last time I added a $5 tip to the online order. We arrived to pick up and food and were on our way back to San Antonio. Last time all the tacos all included onion and cilantro on top. Online there was there an option to choose no onion and cilantro, but not an option to add cilantro and onion. Unfortunately none of the tacos included it, so I'm not sure where you need to go to make sure to add it in an online order. Additionally the sour cream and avocado we paid extra to add were not included. To further disappointment all of the meat was incredibly dry, crunchy and over cooked. The chicken quesadilla was genuinely inedible and we ended up throwing it away. I have never been to a place and has such vastly different experiences within just the span of a week. If you frequent the area often, I would say take the risk. I think we will probably give them another chance, but I just won't order online and I'll be sure to check my order before driving away. The first time was so phenomenal I really hope the next time is more redemptive! read more

Preston was very professional and able to keep his cool and his ability to handle customers even when they were very busy with everyone coming in after having drinks at the bar was impeccable.
