Bobcat batteries is our go to shop for batteries. They always have the battery we need in stock and at a fair price. Each of the batteries have performed very well and lasted for years. The staff is always great and very helpful read more

Dude was awesome quick and easy . Battery works perfectly. Been here before and I've never had any issues. So my go to spot for a battery for my old-school car. read more

Best place to get auto or marine batteries. Half the price of anywhere else. Most of the batteries they sell are lightly used, but will still last you for years. If they don't have used ones in the model you need, they often have factory blemish versions which are brand new generic looking batteries for a lot less than what you pay anywhere else. They will lend you the tools you need to swap out your battery right there in the parking lot. read more

My buddy told me about this place, cos its tlhe only place he's bought his car batteries for years. The owner Chris, is the nicest guy! He really knows how to take care of his customers. I went in with what I thought was a battery that expired in 2023, because it would die after 30 mins of using the auxiliary (about 3 times in 1 month). He quoted me a VERY reasonable price, then, he looked at my battery, and explained the 2023 date was when the battery was MADE (not expired), so, he instead of taking my money, he tested the battery, cleaned the cables and terminals, load tested it, and said, "Not that I donwanna take your money, but this is a good battery..." . This family- run business is smart, kind, and hits a very necessary market! read more

Fast and easy service. The best value for new or used batteries--usually 40-50% cheaper than auto parts stores.

Been coming here since the 90s great service great prices and great quality they took care of me again with my c230 Mercedes thanks again

If you are anywhere within an hour of this place do not buy another car/truck battery anywhere else. They have standard batteries for $60 with a core and I even bought a couple optima yellow top from him for $80 +core each. I've got those two batteries in my off-road rig, 2 agm's in my diesel and one in the wife's car and I've spent less on all of those batteries than I would have had to spend on one of those yellow top optima's anywhere else. The staff is highly knowledgeable, very nice, they have badass pinball machines to look at in the back area. Just seem like cool people who aren't out there trying to gouge people on their pricing like literally everyone else is. I can't say enough about how awesome this place is. Please take my word for it and I guarantee you will not be let down. read more

I've been coming to Bobcat Batteries for over 10 years. I can honestly say I've never been given a bad product nor bad business. They're the most humble, helpful, & genuine company I've ever dealt with & they're consistent! They have the every selection of battery you could need & if they don't have it at that time, it's only a matter of days until they get it. Their prices are honestly unbelievable. You don't get what you pay for here, you get something even more! It almost feels like you've just hit the jackpot. Every single battery I've ever gotten from here has lasted me well over 3-5 years. I've had a battery in my car from them that has lasted me a good almost 7 years now. They do not disappoint. When it comes to business, options, & bang for your buck, this is by far, hands down the best place to encounter. They are amazing. read more

This has to be the best place for batteries. Great value, excellent service, and all types of batteries available.

Feeling drained? Need acid? This place has the good stuff. $40 for a $230 car battery type of good stuff ($55 without exchange). I have used this shop for 9 years and their batteries have lasted just as long as the new fancy colored brand-name ones. Also, the guys here are extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient - I was in and out within 5 minutes. I definitely recommend this small business for anyone wanting to get juiced up. Great deals and he installed my battery on a 2016 Maserati ghibli. Best deal on batteries in town.

Some of the best of the best come out on Thursday nights and they don't need Optima yellow tops, but they have those too, if you're rig is dead. Nope, they come from far and wide to throw down a little sumthin' sumthin'. When the machines pop with the sound of a free ball or a replay. When Elvira moans "I'm having multiple jackpots!" as you get Scared Stiff, when you steal the Martians ship and Attack Mars, you're at Bobcats. Inside is a collection of some very loved machines, including the best Playboy I've ever seen sitting inside Gary's office. It's best to know a guy to know a guy to get here. You don't need to use caution or anything else to get here at any time of day. Salt of the Earth people round here. Just don't be an ass. read more

Bobcat Batteries - I'm thrown rocks tonight! - Battery Stores Near Me - San Jose, California

Don't ever get ripped off for a car battery again! 40 bucks , they gave me tools I was in & out in 5 minutes!!!!

Went there before and the guy was the nicest and helped me out then went again and he was so rude made me not even want a battery from him so I left he didn't want to help me at all . I will never go hear again if your having a bad day don't put it on other people. read more

Absolutely one of the best places to go downtown if you are looking to replace your car battery! The process is very easy: it's just a matter of giving your old battery to get a discount on a new/refurbished battery! The person working gave me a battery that wasn't the perfect fit, but recommended that I trim the plastic spacers on the bottom to have it work out. I was concerned at first at the idea and he shut down all of my worries! I was informed that I could bring the receipt back along with the purchased battery to exchange for the actual battery I needed if it didn't work out. The battery is still running fine to this day and I am glad this place has a convenient location with an ample amount of parking. I have recommended this place to many of my friends and family and I hope this helps others decide on coming here if they are hesitant. read more

Fantastic service. I pulled in and was quickly greeted and they offered to check my battery. Battery was bad they had a rebuilt one with much higher cold cranking amps. Installed and traded in my old battery in less than 17 minutes and only $30. You cannot beat service with a smile and the best price in town. Go to Bobcat Batteries You will not be disappointed. read more

It was my mobile mechanic who recommended Bobcat. That was about 6 months ago. Since then I have bought about 6 batteries. Can't beat the price and certainly can't beat the service as one day I got there just as they were closing. The guy went ahead and found what I needed. Another time I needed a short cable to connect two 12v in series. One was handmade in a few minutes. At NO charge! Highly recommend. But it would be nice if they opened on Saturdays. read more

Great guys and good price for a Optima battery. They are very helpful and honest. $75 for a $300 Optima battery with a 90 day warranty is pretty good even if it's used. read more

Once again, Yelp comes to my rescue. My little car needed a new battery. About, say, 2 years ago. In fact, the day I bought it, the battery died before I drove it off the lot. But I kept putting off buying one by telling myself, "Self, it's a small car, ergo it has a small battery. Of course it'll go dead fast." I just didn't wanna spend $100 on something that I couldn't read or eat. However, Triple A only allows so many roadside calls per membership. So the other day I typed in "used car battery" on Yelp and up came Bobcat Batteries. It had some very positive reviews so I figured what the heck, I'll give it a try. Drove over around lunch time and there was just one guy putzing about this big ol' warehouse type structure, filled to the brim with batteries AND pinball machines. I asked him how much a used battery would run me. He quoted me $30.00. Wow, I thought, if the used are so cheap, maybe I should go all out and buy a new one! Which I did. For the sum total of $65.00. He even popped the hood and installed it right there and then. All told, I was there maybe ... 15 minutes? Probably the most painless car related chore I'd ever done. It was almost ... fun. read more

Great people that are very helpful with your battery purchase. And there prices are some of the lowest around.
