Excellent service. Great price. Tom and John communicated everything throughout from service order to eta, arrival, and replacement. Tom tested my battery, cleaned the terminal, vacuumed out my storage tray, help reset the BMS, and put a voltmeter across the terminals for my to ensure my alternator was still charging properly. These guys got my out of a jam quick! With excellent pricing for a top tier service Very impressed, highly recommend. read more

Having your car battery die is never fun but battery roadie REALLY improves the experience. I had my battery die on Sunday, booked an appointment, and got it fixed before noon on Monday. Tom was really fun to talk to and was an expert with the install. My favorite part definitely has to be the online scheduling. They have a quote for you immediately, pay online, and book instantly. I did try to ask around but some places either didn't pick up or charged over $100 of what battery roadie was quoting me. I would 100% recommend them! read more

Fantastic Service, highly recommended. Got a response immediately and was able to schedule and appointment for the following day. Communication was great the whole time and Tom delivered and installed the new battery in my work parking lot right on time. I was looking online to find out where I might be able to get one and stressing on how I was gonna be able to get it to the boat and on the boat and get the old one out since there were so big and heavy. Saw the ad for battery rowdy, and gave them a call. Oh my! #easybutton! They immediately knew the battery I was looking for. Had it in stock and said they could be at my boat in the very next day. Their technician showed up on time. With the correct battery. Brought it out to my boat. Did the installation it took the old core away for me. Could not have been easier for me. Super friendly, very knowledgeable. Quick service. Five star experience. Highly recommended. read more

12 stars if i could! Talked to Customer Service this morning about the 12v battery in my EV. TEchnician showed up at 1p; battery replaced and operational in 5 minutes. After all the phone calls to local repair shops, Battery Roadie was absolutely the easiest to set up as well as the most convenient since they drove to me. Unbelievably easy!!!! read more

Our car died out as we were making a left hand turn on to Ashby from Telegraph. Got blessed and a couple of gentlemen got out and pushed right into the Chevron Station on that very corner. I got out the phone and started searching for someone who would come to you and replace an old battery. Mike answered the phone asked questions for the replacement to take place and gave me a quote. I agreed and in about 40 minutes a tech came (van with Company name on it) jumped out and started the process. It took all of 20 minutes. So very grateful for your service and the quickness it took to get back on the road. Amazing!!!!! I will tell all I know about you!!!!! read more

PHENOMENAL SERVICE!!!!!!! I spoke with John over the phone.....he LISTENED and answered all of my questions....he even took notes while on the call with me, so I never had to repeat myself. Mike is the technician that replaced my battery. He was punctual, communicative and professional.....he also changed the battery out in ONLY about FIVE MINUTES!!!! The battery that went into my car was priced what the manufacturer charges so they don't price gouge you. This is a great service and I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Thanks guys. read more

Fantastic business. I had a new battery installed the same morning I called. Professional, prompt and price competitive. Thanks!

Tom came out first thing in the morning to check out our car that wouldn't start. Came with a replacement battery, but diagnosed that the issue was with the starter and not the battery. Didn't charge us for the visit, which is pretty amazing. Thanks so much! read more

I got a car shipped to SF and the battery drained and electricity is needed to open the hood latch (dumb design). I called Battery Roadie and was given same day support. We went through various levels of trouble shooting and he went above and beyond by trying to open my car's wheel well to manually open the hood. After we got it open, turned out the battery was bad and leaked a ton all over. I got the battery replaced and the corrosion cleaned. I appreciate the service and not having to tow my car to a shop. read more

Amazing. Reasonable price, had the exact battery we needed available, arrived promptly, and went above and beyond to make sure our EV was up and running again. Highly recommend. read more

John & team are hands down the best. Both my cars had battery troubles this year. Our household needs both cars every day. John is super responsive -- unlike other businesses who simply respond with a yes or no and barely any details, John gave a detailed explanation in his first message, including prices. He was able to schedule me within half a days time and I was on the road promptly! I have found my "battery guy". read more

Fast, friendly and honest. I had a feeling the battery on our 2013 Toyota was on the way out. The technician met me at my car. Tested and confirmed the battery was indeed nearly dead and swapped out the old one for a new one, just like that! No hassle. Totally worth it! read more

John is fantastic! Did not want to tow my car to a shop and sit around a wait. What a pain, right? Discovered John and called him. He answered, gave me the total cost in a matter of minutes, told me a window of time, and we were off. He kept in contact with me via text, came even earlier than he indicated he could, and it took just 10 minutes for him to swap my old battery for the new. I recommend him to anyone. Ease, affordability, and professionalism all top notch. Thank you, John! read more

Fast and Easy. They arrived on time and had all the tools and materials. The whole process took about 15 minutes. All I had to do is wait at home for them to show up. So much easier than driving to an auto shop to get this done. read more

My car wasn't starting so I had assumed it was the battery and contacted Battery Roadie. Mike came out, checked out the battery. He noted the battery was giving off the correct voltage so it wasn't bad, but he also noted the connection points didn't have the correct screws and one wasn't even screwed on properly. He fixed it up for me in under 10 minutes, all while being super friendly. The honesty here was amazing (now to figure out who connected my battery wrong when it was last replaced ) Appreciate Mike and Battery Roadie so much! read more

John at the helm and Mike in the field make a formidable duo for anyone needing a replacement car battery. They provided me a small but meaningful selection of batteries--think small, medium, large (pricing). They were prompt, responsive, efficient. I might suggest for even more exceptional service, consider bringing a battery-operated (no pun intended) vacuum to remove any leaves and debris from the battery tray after removing the existing battery and before installing the new replacement battery. Also, bring a OBD2 monitor to confirm to the customer that the removal & replacement did not disrupt the customer's vehicle's emission systems (peace of mind). Apart from those two things, A+. read more

Phenomenal service! Highly recommend! My car consistently needs a new battery every 5 years , and I have hated the entire process from having to call my car insurance's absolutely awful road side service when the battery dies and then dealing with immediately taking the vehicle once jumped to an auto parts place and then hoping they will take mercy on my car maintenance ignorance and will help ie do the new battery install for me. In contrast Battery Roadie has made this effortless! Tom came to our house at a conveniently scheduled time, even texted 30 min in advance to provide his precise ETA, and brought my beloved Honda civic back to life in 15 minutes. read more

One of the best experiences had with customer service...ever. Fair price, efficient service. Tech was friendly and professional. VERY GLAD I TOOK A CHANCE on a vendor I had never heard of until in the pinch I was in. read more

What an awesome service! Look, getting a battery replaced in the past had been a huge pain and very stressful. I thought this would be too good to be true. I checked out the website, rates/prices seemed reasonable, but I was still skeptical. I called and confirmed the rate, service fee, and an additional charge for my Mini. I scheduled the appointment and I still can't believe how stress free the whole experience was. It saved me an indefinite wait for AAA and the anxiety of driving to a mechanic wondering if my car might die on the way. Agree with other reviews--totally worth it! read more

Super friendly and super flexible! It was really easy to schedule and pay for the battery replacement online. Mike texted me and was even able to come out a day earlier due to a schedule change on my end. He arrived right on time and was so nice. My parking garage is a pain to get into but he went right inside and was so fast! Thank you! read more

Super easy! They come right to your home. Test & change battery. Reasonable prices! Sane day service.

I am so glad I found this business on yelp. If you look at the reviews, they have 211 & they are ALL 5 stars and they have 5 stars for a reason. The price they quoted me for a battery was the same price as three other different businesses that I called so that right there told me they weren't a sketchy business. They charge you a $30 to install the battery. I think that's beyond reasonable considering I have no clue of how to even do something like this and they got to my residence in like 25 minutes! The employee who installed my battery was Tom. He was very polite very friendly approached us with a smile and not a grumpy face like you see so many employees these days....I don't know. I was just super impressed with this company and should I ever come across a dead battery situation again or any of my family or friends? I will definitely recommend them. Thank you Battery Roadie!! read more

I guess they really don't need another 5 star review, but called them out. They were honest, helpful and so much easier to deal with than the dealership. They previously changed my EV 12 volt battery and I thought the battery was going bad - nope. Looks great. I rarely write reviews but these guys are the BEST. They provide batteries which are not available from AAA battery service. read more

Amazing experience with battery rodie today . I've been bothered lately by my battery not charging much when driving my relatively modest routes, and also confounded with my NOCO genius 5 battery charger not operating properly and only giving a tiny charge. So I thought I had two problems, and was worried about both of them. My battery was originally installed by John about 10 months ago. It was a wonderful and easy experience and he recommended that particular charger for someone like me who doesn't drive often and enough to get the battery charged fully at least once a week. But I had originally assumed the problem was with the battery because the customer service people at NOCO kept telling me the charger wasn't functioning correctly because the battery was possibly sulfated or something like that and would need to put it in repair mode which is something I definitely did not want to mess around with. They did suggest I get it tested, which I put off for a while because I kept assuming something was wrong with the charger and not the battery, but was still worried about the battery. Turns out nothing was wrong with either thanks to Mike showing me. So finally I decided to call them up and Mike answered, and very fortunately he happened to be in Lafayette and I am in Walnut Creek, so he followed up on his promise to give me an ETA and less than an hour after I called he was already at my place with the the truck and allthe necessary diagnostic tools. He tested the cells and then did a load test followed by checking the alternator to be sure it was charging the battery with the engine on. I happened to have just started trying to charge it up in the morning and the charger was right there near my rcar and I discussed the problem with him of the charger not working properly and then I watched him hook it up and toggle through the modes and then suddenly it was going through the proper cycles. So the whole time I had no idea I was using the charger without toggling through the modes and that was the problem. By the evening it had charged the battery fully. Mike was extremely generous and did not charge me a fee for coming to my place to test the battery and as it turns out solved two problems at one time by showing me how to use the charger properly ! Not only that, he also answered all of my questions patiently and completely. Thanks so much Mike. I will be recommending battery roadie to anyone needing a very convenient and wonderfully satisfactory battery purchase as well as above and beyond follow up customer service ! read more

The whole process was fast and easy. My car battery died for the second time so I knew I was going to need to get it replaced. It was 3:45 on a Friday and my roadside assistance was going to take 2 hours to get to me. I found Battery Roadie by luck. I called, they gave me an estimate and sent Mike out. He texted me right away to say he'd be there in 15-20 minutes (it was 15) and then replaced the battery in about 10 minutes. The price was fair, everyone I spoke with was nice, and I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend ! read more
