First Texas Honda - Brought in for interior detailing. After month-long "Odyssey" re: interior detailing tear, the car was returned with a dirty mat.

From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with wonderful customer service. Our questions and concerns were addressed with the upmost attention to detail. Jaimi was amazing and had our requests met above anything else. She made our interaction like we were good friends hanging out. We were completely comfortable and didn't feel pressured into buying if we were not totally on board. First Texas Honda you got a great atmosphere filled with great people, we will definitely be showing up in the future should we need to buy a car again, Thank you!

We just financed a car from Texas Honda and we are paying way too much in APR from the bank that…read moreloaned us money, not the issue, we needed a car ASAP and have to suck it up because of the credit score. The issue lies with the complete lack of communication and things they said they'd do and did not. We were supposed to pick up the car on Tuesday when they said it would be ready. They communicated through text and on paper that the issue with TPMS light would be fixed, and the ac would be fixed as well as regular maintenance, as well as a detail of the car, oil change ect would be done by Tuesday. They did not communicate with us that it would in fact not be read, we reached out to them they said nope tomorrow, never heard back the next day so we reached out they said nope tomorrow for sure. All times we had to be the ones to call and text which I understand they are busy people but we just spent money and we expect things to be ready when they said they'll be or at least be communicated with and not left in the dark. Before we picked up the car we also tried to reach out and get a copy of the financial documents because we wanted to arrange our schedules and get everything squared away with payments, they said they'd contact the finance department about sending us the info, they never did. When we reached out the day a few hours into the day to see if they were able to get ahold of the department on sending us the information they told us the person in charge of our documents left early for the day. Again left in the dark about that. When we showed for the car we were able to see the documents but when asked if we could get a copy of everything they said they had already made copies and just handed us some flash drive we have no way of looking at. When we finally got the car the issue with the TPMS light was not fixed they said they got the wrong part so we can come back....To call them or text them Saturday morning to see if the part had arrived, so we did they said nope try again Monday. So we tried again Monday (Today) Person in charge of letting us know if the part had arrived or not basically said I'm actually out until NEXT Saturday so try again then..... or just show up and ask the maintenance guy in charge. We did not want to make the drive for no reason if the part hadn't arrived or he wasn't there. So we called, many times, were transferred many times. No one ever answered, weird because there's always at least 10 people just chatting in the front. Showed up and the guy there (different sales person) has no idea any of this was happening ,our sales person never let anyone know anything before dipping for a week. The AC was also never fixed, Sunday afternoon when we were running errands air would blow but it wouldn't get cold. We were sitting there sweating. The AC repair was written into their "WE OWE YOU" form stating our AC would be good and fixed at pick up. It's not fixed. Probably a leak or something from a line. So desperate for them to fix the issue we want to have our mechanic fix it and just bill Honda because when we Brought that up to them and they're saying they don't have anything on file about our AC. This whole dealership is unprofessional and sold us a car that needed repairs. We did not agree to buy "AS-IS" we were told those issues would be fixed and I've got texts that prove it. We will both be submitting complaint about everything so far from this dealership to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles as well as the Better Business Bureau.

Howdy Honda - Offered at $28,400 on Autotrader, but $29,400 on their site. See my review for details on this BAIT & SWITCH trick they pulled.

Horrible experience…read more Bought a black 2023 Honda CRV on May 4. This review is under a pseudonym but they'll know who I am. The manager, Robert Furcinitti, had a sales associate bring me a sheet of financing options with a "7%" interest rate. I immediately knew from looking that the rate was closer to 20%, and I voiced this immediately. The sales associate, Arlie (spelling?), assured me this was a 7% interest rate in response to my concern. Not even close. So I asked for Robert, who came in and gaslit me that the numbers I was looking at were accurate. I pulled out a financing calculator and showed him 7% would be about $100 less per month than what he's showing me. He backed down, got a new paper with new payments, and sheepishly acknowledged he "made a mistake". Sure you did. The amount of money he would have grifted me out of was about $6000 over 5 years. When I purchased insurance through their partner, [removed as part of edit] and Pronto insurance, they assured me they would "prorate" my insurance if I switched. There was a surprise $84 fee, meaning I was charged $110 for 2 days of Pronto insurance, PLUS the ~$170 fee for the insurance agent. Every step of the way I was deceived and mislead. I had to call Honda itself about the dealership and we're working through what to do about this. UPDATE: I at least got them to recover the $84 fee, but that's no thanks to Howdy Honda. For that reason I've removed the name of the insurance agent from the review.

They're very organized. I pull in, someone immediately comes out to greet me, offers water, and walks me through everything. The service advisor explains what we're doing, and I'm sent to the waiting area, which is always spotless and comfortable. The coffee machine is legit, there are plenty of snacks, and the seating is actually comfortable. I don't mind sitting here for an hour because it feels relaxed, not chaotic. Service costs are either covered or very reasonable, and there's never pressure to add anything on. They send a service video straight to your phone, which felt fast at first, but honestly just shows everything is moving smoothly and nothing urgent is wrong. The shuttle service is also super reliable when you need it. Overall, coming here doesn't feel dreadful, and for a car dealership, that says a lot.

Back in 2010, I wrote, "To be honest, I would rather have a tooth pulled than deal with a used car salesman." Well, at Apple, there is no tooth pulling! There's no high-pressure sales approach here. Every vehicle on their lot is high-end, clean, and mechanically sound. They offer fair trade-in values, include a free drivetrain warranty, and provide a very reasonably priced extended warranty plan. Best of all, they don't tack on any of those unnecessary add-ons you often see at other dealerships. On this most recent visit, I worked with Corey (sales) and Mike (sales manager), and it was by far the easiest car-buying experience I've ever had. I received a very fair offer for my trade-in and even secured a loan rate better than what my credit union offered, which surprised me. Bailey (finance) made the paperwork process smooth and stress-free, and she offered an extended warranty at a price I felt was more than fair. Pro tip: Check out their inventory, but be aware it tends to move quickly, so contact them online to verify that the new-to-you vehicle is still available.

She's always paid a fraction of the cost I pay for services at BMW, and yet she's never had any problems with her car. After taking my car two BMW for a new battery and they recommended 2 services that was roughly $3700 and also told me that although due to changing the battery I needed to get it programmed and that it would cost an additional $550. And advised me that I can pay it and they could do it but it could cause a bigger problem that would cost me $3500 if so. I told them just change the battery and took it straight to Apple Imports. I don't want to butcher the service guy name it's Aaron or Erin. But he's a genius! He knew exactly who I was every time i called, kept me updated on everything that they did, and even figured out the programming that BMW apparently screwed up! And didn't charge me anything additional! His genuine care to get my car fixed was amazing to me! I highly recommend this place to anyone. I haven't had any interaction with anyone else other than Aaron/Erin, but I can say he's awesome! And his customer service is phenomenal! You really don't get good customer service all the time in the car service industry.

They don't call back within a timely matter, Juliana is extremely rude almost as if working there is a punishment of some sort. No customer service skills at all. Never smiles when I've greeted her. Got there and waited 40 minutes before we were approached by sales rep. We are from out of town and only went to Echo Park because of their seven day return policy. Time to find out it doesn't apply if you have a trade-in. Also, if it exceeds 250 miles that dishonor the seven day return policy as well. Plus a $700 protection spray that MUST be purchased on all vehicles. At this point 99% chance I wouldn't get a car here. Just waiting to get trade in value and "bottom dollar" Sales manager is quite deceptive, brash, emotionless in his dealings. We fell into the old wait wait wait wait wait and wait longer game with this cast of clowns. Problem is the longer I wait the more furious I get. The presentation took past 5:00 PM. Which means we couldn't go to the bank and get a cashiers check., as they will only accept $5000 on a debit card, which forces you into financing - go figure. Example of their magical math. Sticker price on the car was $23k, had a $4k trade in, bottom line was $22k - GOT MY KEYS FROM MY TRADE IN AND WENT HOME I couldn't get the bottom dollar until I got my keys and was leaving after a 30 minute wait ! When I'm leaving , suddenly they run to me with a laptop and the spreadsheet with the cost - screw them and the utter waste of time at this trash hole!!!!! I recently purchased an EV from this dealership and, while we ultimately completed the sale, the…read moreexperience with our salesperson was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. From the start, we were clear that we had been pre-approved through our own bank and intended to finance with them. The salesperson pushed us to let the dealership try to beat our rate, promising they could get us as low as 3% APR. We agreed to let them try. Before that process began, I asked whether the EV came with a charging cable -- a reasonable question for a new EV purchase. The salesperson told us they had gone out of their way to pull a cable from another EV on the lot "as a favor to us." When the dealership came back with a rate of 4.93% APR versus our bank's 5.02% APR, we politely declined and asked to proceed with our original financing -- exactly what we had requested from the beginning. That's when things took a sharp turn. The salesperson's demeanor changed completely. They told us that if financing was going to "make or break" the deal, they didn't feel they should be going out of their way with the charging cable -- and then stormed off. We were stunned. We nearly walked out. The salesperson then disappeared for nearly 45 minutes before returning and grudgingly presenting us with paperwork using our bank's loan -- the exact outcome we had asked for at the start. The behavior we experienced was rude, manipulative, and completely unprofessional. Using a basic accessory that should come with the car as a bargaining chip, and then punishing us for exercising our right to choose our own financing, is not acceptable. I'd caution anyone shopping here to come prepared and stand firm -- but more importantly, management should be aware this kind of conduct is driving customers away.
