I've yet to get ice cream or anything like when I go to Blue Deer, but about the half time I stop by there's usually a small line which goes to show how good the quality is in general. It's very much a hole-in-the wall, especially with Blowing Rock being a very small town, but it's quaint and friendly, and it feels good to support a local business. The nice thing as well is that it's basically at the end of Main, so you can get your coffee and walk the entire drag exploring the shops. Whenever I'm in the area I love stopping in here and I'll definitely be doing so for a while :)

The place was clean and decorated cute, the coffee was good and pretty affordable, but 3 stars because both staff members were not very friendly and almost seemed like we were bothering them by coming in. Again, hopefully it was just an off day, but customer service definitely goes a long way, especially for people visiting out of town.
