There is parking! See note at the end…read more Also note... there are three businesses under the one roof here that people could be talking about in their Yelp reviews. I've only been to the cafe, but there is also a separate, fancy-seeming restaurant as well as a boutique hotel. (Also they have a shop in South Minneapolis that has its own Yelp profile, Alma Provisions.) I definitely recommend that you try the cafe! I had a great mocha here, along with a breakfast sandwich and a carrot-apple juice. High quality all around, and all of it was enjoyed in a comfortable and beautifully decorated dining room. There is quite a lot of food on the menu; I was there for breakfast but they have a lunch menu that starts at 11am which I want to come back to try. Again, my mocha was absolutely delicious and the fresh bread really elevated that breakfast sandwich. I was here on a September Saturday morning at around 8:30 and it was very busy; the wait to order was about 15 minutes but there is enough seating that I didn't have trouble there. In addition to plenty of indoor tables, there is a lot of bar seating and a good number of patio tables. On the West side of the building is a large parking lot, most of which is for nearby apartment buildings. But there is a sign that makes it clear that the spaces numbered 1-7 are for Alma customers.

The vibe here is great--funky, old decor with an industrial-meets-cozy feel, and the music selection is always a hit (not too loud, just vibey). It's a fantastic spot for working or just chilling. I ordered the cortado, and it was exceptional. The baristas definitely have latte art skills, and my drink was prepared beautifully and with care. The staff are super kind, which really adds to the experience. Parking is also a breeze with the adjacent free surface lot which is a plus in Minneapolis. If you're looking for a top-tier espresso drink in a great atmosphere, Five Watt is a must-visit.

I asked the person working for a recommendation, since I usually like just about everything. There was a basil espresso tonic on the summer special menu that they recommended. This place has a casual local coffee shop feel that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Although it was fairly busy at the time I visited, service was still relatively fast. I particularly liked my latte drink because you could taste the unique salted caramel flavor without it being muted with the espresso and milk. The flavor came through clear and I would definitely order it again. Additionally, I liked how they had a rotating seasonal menu. I would visit again to try some drinks on their "Trick or Treat" menu.

The bagel didn't seem the most fresh, but they did have other pasties I'd try. I also got the cold brew with maple syrup and a splash of milk and would absolutely come back for! Service 5/5: the ladies that helped me were so nice and helped answer all of my questions. The food/drink was made quickly. Location: Eat Street Crossing (Nicollet -- Minneapolis)…read more I couldn't find the Yelp page to the one located in Eat Street Crossing off Nicollet. I just want to give a shout out to the employee that was working on a weekday mid-afternoon for his professionalism and approachable-ness. When I went to the location at Mall of America, it didn't seem like they have alternative milk. The employees at the MOA where to themselves. I'm lactose intolerant. This guy at Eat Street Crossing asked if I had any questions, which I ask if the drinks can be made with almond or soymilk, he said yes and just to let him know which drink. I ordered the tiger creme brulee drink and it was delicious. He did let me know there was some dairy, which I can tolerate, but that experience made a difference, because I'd probably walk away if he didn't check in.
