If you need anything, the girls are helpful. I also tried the pineapple kale smoothie and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. After looking at the colorful menus and taking her recommendations, I decided on the 20-ounce Faster Stronger smoothie. Within minutes, the small place (set up as a counter grab-and-go with a solo table outside) filled up with about half a dozen people ready to order or pick up their drinks. The atmosphere was fast and furious with the buzz of blenders in the air. My drink was prepared within a few minutes. I thanked the hardworking staff and took off, ice cold purple drink in hand. The smoothie itself was a good size for the price ($11.25) and was amazingly blended and perfectly balanced in flavor. Not too sweet, but just right. Ordered myself a medium bowl covered with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, a touch of granola and some chocolate drizzle in between the fruits and the actual açaí. It was very soothing, refreshing, creamy and tasty. I will save my appetite next time when I go back for some Empanadas. Now I know what the hype is all about. They also have dairy free & vegan options. Metered and residential parking in the front and on the side streets! They also have a gender neutral bathroom. My Acai was delicious and cold, but all of the ingredients on top were not! I would think the fruit should be cold too? When I had a bowl from another location recently, the fruit was so crisp and cold so I was disappointed today. I picked the bowl up pretty quickly after I ordered it online so it wasn't like it was sitting out for very long. I also got a spinach empanada today and it looked a little under baked. She mentioned they were out of the cashew butter I requested for one of the bowls, so she provided a different butter on the side in a convenient container. It's a love-hate relationship because each bite is more delicious than the last, but that also means that I'm going to be finished soon. I wish they made a size bigger than 32oz because it is just so damn good I can't get enough. You ever try something new and it suddenly becomes a part of your life like you can never be without it? That's exactly how I feel about this place. My go to order is: 32 oz Acai bowl, chocolate chunk granola, strawberry and banana, Nutella drizzle, and an extra topping of bee pollen. Parking is never an issue so it's easy to get in and get out fairly quickly. The only issue I've come across so far has to be the customer service. I placed a large order recently and realized I made a mistake. I called within 2 minutes of placing the order to fix it, and was told that the bowls had been made already. I was perplexed because when you order through the app, "ASAP" means it will be ready in 20 minutes. I ordered four bowls, and it was ready in less than two minutes? Yeah something is off here. I asked if I could fix the mistake I made and was met with "no there's nothing we can do because it's been made already". I explained how that couldn't be my order because I had JUST placed it, and it's advertised that it would be ready in 20 minutes because I chose the "ASAP" option. They then said that sometimes if they're not busy, they can finish an order in 5 minutes.... Okay. Well this one was done in 2 minutes so they must have The Flash working there. So just a heads up to everyone. Even though 20 minutes is what it'll say in the app if you select "ASAP" your order will probably be ready way before that so don't wait longer than you need to. Since they weren't remotely interested in trying to help me out, I figure I'd just have to take the L on this one. I sent an email to the address they have listed on their website (hello@beariesacai.com) for further help, but don't even bother trying that. The address is invalid so it'll get you nowhere. They should fix that because it's listed on their company website. They have a different email listed on their instagram page (beariesacai@gmail.com) But they haven't responded so I wouldn't count on getting any help. So make sure ya'll get it right the first time, Otherwise you're just out of luck. It's still absolutely delicious though.
