This is a cute little boba spot right outside the Maya theatre. I was in the mood for a honeydew melon slush with lychee jelly and the cup was really cute. The lychee jelly is my favorite part, but the drink could be sweeter. I can't comment on the staff much as there is only one girl tending the counter and she is really short when it comes to taking the orders. If in the area, I would come again.

It's ILLEGAL to not give employees tips from CC and Debit card transactions. After I added a tip both people behind the counter said "press 'skip' next time, the owner keeps those tips" They should contact the California Labor Board. Good boba. No indoor seating. clean. Really great service.

Huge shoutout to the workers. They were the only spot open on Easter. The orders were coming out fast, and I think the sizing is perfect for the price. Especially when you're going to see a movie. The drinks were perfectly sweet! They don't have any tables/ chairs for you to enjoy so it's just a quick grab and go. But they do have chairs while you wait.

We come here frequently, I love the new wall decor. So cute! Elephants are my favorite animal lol I usually don't get boba but I tried popping boba w/ passion fruit juice and honestly 10/10 definitely recommend! The drinks are always so good and my smoothie wasn't super thick which was amazing.

I was craving a late night smoothie, and by late night I mean 9pm. Luckily boba point was the ONLY thing open on a weekend. We rushed right over and there were quite a few people in line and waiting outside. The decor was not the best nor good at all, it looks like no effort is put in but that's alright because the drink was absolutely tasty! It was so smooth and sweet, and all the ice cream options coming out looked just as good! The man taking the order seemed over whelmed which could Come off as rude but i understood the pressure. Would come again if i were on this side of town.

I have been coming and ordering from this business since 2019/2020 and they have never disappointed! I love their new little cups they are so cute and unique! Their boba is amazing and their drinks are so good! I recommend their Thai and Horchata Milk Teas with Boba or their Mango Smoothie!! 2 hours north from Anaheim. All our drinks tasted great. You have the option of customizing the sweetness. I had the regular sized strawberry tea with boba and was pleasantly surprised when it came with fresh strawberry pieces, but I wish it was chopped up smaller so they could fit through the straw. I also wished I ordered a large as it was refreshing! No tables inside, but a few chairs along the side walls. No bathroom either. Easy to find parking.

My, my, my. The owner of Boba Point was my old boss from Captain Crawfish whom I am really close with. It was so nice seeing Sophea and seeing how far she's come especially since she's talked to me about opening up/owning a Boba store years ago! She's a very hardworking woman, working most of the hours of the week towards her two businesses. Of course, when I came back to town to visit - I had to support her! She greeted us with a warm welcome while simultaneously greeting customers as well. She gave us the Taro smoothie with lychee and the honeydew smoothie with boba. Both were very good and refreshing! The location is also nice as it is right by Maya Cinema.

I asked for no ice for my sensitive teeth,the Asian woman argued with me that the ice was blended,I don't think this is blended ice

Asian woman was very rude at the fact that I requested no ice,said it was blended and gave me extra ice on top of the fact that I didn't want any,she's probably the manager and they should really check on these employees to make sure she's not lashing out on them the way they did me today :( other than that the other employees were very kind

I was so stuck with boba time being the best boba spot in Bakersfield because I've been disappointed by many other boba spots in town. My buddies have been telling me to try this place. We were in the area so I decided to give It a shot. Well... I'm glad I did. Possibly the best Thai tea I've had. I usually get it blended with boba. It was creamier than most places I've gone and the flavor definitely hits! What's really neat is the cups they come in which adds a nice little flare to compliment how good their drink is. I also like the fact that they added extra fruit to the strawberry banana smoothie my daughter ordered. Will definitely start to make the drive if I'm ever craving boba again. Should've listened to my friends a long time ago!

This place used to be amazing till management changed now this manager has raised prices and turned it into a place where you go in and all these things at register are over priced like the 99 cent store. So twice I went here, both times the boba was very soft and mushy... almost dissolved. This last time I had the brown sugar milk tea boba and it was good. I would prefer a little more firmness on my boba, next time I will try the smoothies - still taste very good and prices are good! read more

Wanted to try the new boba spot right next to the Maya movie theater. I ordered the strawberry, banana, and pineapple smoothie with boba, my boyfriend ordered a pistachio smoothie, and my brother ordered a taro smoothie. They were all really yummy, but I'd have to say the pistachio was the best. The boba was also really good. Not too sweet and very soft. I saw in other reviews that the wait was long, but we only waited about 5 minutes after we ordered to get our drinks. Would definitely recommend if in the area. read more

The boba was very soft and chewy. The drinks were flavorful. They packed my order well and wrapped it in cling wrap. Then they put that in a plastic bag full of ice to keep my drinks cold. I ordered it for delivery and everything arrived nicely. I will definitely buy from them again. read more

I ordered a regular size Thai smoothie close to 9pm yesterday from this newly opened Boba store, and I enjoyed my smoothie very much! I left with a desire to go back to Boba Point and try more of their menu options. The staff inside were wonderfully welcoming, and I want to go back and spend more time in the open seating area, and enjoy another beverage again. Boba Point's seating area is well lit, has tables and chairs to relax in while you enjoy your beverage, and a minimalistic, though stylish decorations on their wall upon entry. If you're looking for a place to buy Boba close to the Maya Theatre, this is a great place to grab a boba drink from, as well as an assortment of other drinks available on the menu. I enjoyed my experience at Boba Point, and will come back to try more items. I recommend that you try Boba Point if you're in the area, perhaps before or after your movie at the Maya Cinema! Late craving check! I order with Uber eats and got it deliver in great condition and it taste great. I also got a choco Oreo shake but my son got to it before I can snap a pic. 2 stars only cause they're open till 11 pm. The Thai tea smoothie I ordered tasted just like super sweet milk and the boba was super hard, almost like they were frozen. The taro milk tea was ok, just tasted like the powder stuff you purchase at an Asian grocery store. read more

I started losing hope with boba places just didn't taste good to me no matter what i tried. When i found this place i tried it it was amazing! The drinks just taste so good and boba is good. Other places i tried the boba was nasty but here it was good! Great prices too! Just sad not to see this place as busy as competitors out there when this place is way better. I've tried many boba places here in Bakersfield, so I kinda have some knowledge on what to expect from a boba drink. This place Boba Point, is by far the most freshest boba I've ever tried. First time I tried them out, I had just finished watching a movie with the boyfriend, and noticed this place. We were on the mood of something light, and this was the perfect choice. I got the Honeydew smoothie, and my boyfriend got Pina Colada. We both agreed the Honeydew was the best, it was so smooth and yummy, while the Pina Colada was good but it was a little too sweet, but you can definitely tell them to make it less sweet, and I love that they're accommodating with the customer. I've come a total of 3 times, and it's always so good and fresh. Today I got the watermelon smoothie which I totally loved it! Keep in mind, they do make all drinks from scratch, there's a bit of wait, specially if you bring a larger group. So far they have yet to disappoint me, and i believe it will become my go-to boba place for now! read more

Came here yesterday and then again today. The wait is pretty ridiculous... I think they need a better system to make their orders faster. I waited about 5 minutes standing at the register just to order and another 15 just to get one drink. I've only tasted their Thai milk tea with boba and enjoyed it but probably won't be coming back any time soon due to the wait. It also gets loud in there from the smoothies being made with their blender.... like so loud you have to yell when placing your order. I've seen that they recently upgraded their kitchen but they definitely need a lot more improvement. Not to mention that their walls are not decorated so it doesn't have a welcoming atmosphere. They also don't have a restroom available for paying customers which is inconvenient. read more

The drinks here are delicious! Boba Point is tucked in the little area in front of Maya Cinema and if things were normal, it would be crowded all the time. They have several types of boba, as well as numerous drink options. I had a blueberry slush, made with fresh blueberries. So good! Please give them a try. Best boba in town. read more

I also grabbed a peanut butter bagel, a must for me when stopping by. The spinach bagel is another longtime favorite, and I think I'll need another trip in the near future just for it. There was a bit of a line when I walked in, to be expected from such a popular spot during peak breakfast hours. Bagels and Blenderz was really busy so seating was next to none. It took about 10-15 minutes to get my bagels The bagels were fresh, however, these are not your traditional NY style bagels....unfortunately. A New York-style bagel is a dense, chewy, and glossy bagel known for its distinct malty flavor, achieved by boiling in water with barley malt before baking. Key characteristics include a shiny, crisp crust and a soft, chewy interior. Bagel and Blenderz bagels: 2/10, no "chew" very dense and I can smell the yeast, definitely not a traditional bagel. Heck Panera has better bagels. These are more like very dense bread masquerading as bagels. I'm beyond disappointed. Additionally, no one in my house liked them. I don't recommend the bagels. Thumbprint cookies, I had high hopes for these, but they are rock hard. I expected a nice flaky cookie, similar to the thumbprint cookies from Smith Bakery. This rating is solely based on the food purchased and doesn't reflect customer service. Customer service was good and staff were friendly.

My family has had Boba drinks from Seattle, Vallejo, Los Angeles, Bakersfield,and San Diego - none of the restaurants we went to served there drinks with fresh fruit or tasted as good as those at Boba Point. Service was fast and it's located near the Maya theater. There are other places in Bakersfield that serve boba drinks but Boba Point beats them hands down. read more
