Boba Ninja replaced Quickly's in Asian Ghetto several years ago, as the new boba shop, and I think they are better than Quickly's. I typically come here to get a watermelon freeze, especially after a good workout. While I'm not sure that it's real watermelon, the taste is pretty darn similar to that of actual watermelon juice, so I'm not complaining. Beyond the watermelon freeze, I have not really tried a whole lot, but there is a wide variety of drinks available to try. Beyond their drink menu, they also have a pretty extensive snack menu. Some of my favorites include popcorn chicken, chicken strips, fried fishballs, and fried tofu. It's great that they also have spicy powder, which I use to douse all my snacks in. If you're feeling particularly hungry, be sure to grab the popcorn chicken, as they give you enough popcorn chicken for it to be a meal! A friend dropped his unopened drink as we were on a walk and the sealed lid opened completely, leaking out a decent amount of boba and milk tea. The cup itself was a bit crushed too. This is my go to place for boba and popcorn chicken! I usually come here with friends when we're on the rush to get boba. You're technically in and out of that place, and the staff is very friendly. I always order the jasmine green milk tea with boba, (large or regular - depending on how much I'm feeling like) and to this day I've never been let down. Couple of friends usually tell me, "Why don't you go to sweethearts?". I guess I'm just a loyal customer here, I feel in love with their drink and sweethearts just seems to have more sugar than what I need. I've came here 2 times before and both late at night. The first time I ordered a jasmine milk tea with popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is VERY generous and the pieces are big. The only downside is that they don't season the chicken for you. If you want spicy powder, you have to shake some on yourself but it's difficult to get it mixed in as your bag of chicken is full to the top. Prepare to have half overly spicy chicken and half plain chicken. The second time I came here, I was pretty full from my dinner just 3 hours before so I decided on getting a plain iced oolong tea. Just 20 minutes after drinking less than half of my tea, my stomach starts to rumble. It seems like the tea activated my upset stomach.
