This place may be small, but they have excellent food and excellent bubble tea. The menu is extensive not only for the food, but also for your drink options. they will happily answer any questions that you have about their menu and they even have bubble tea that do not have caffeine in them if you have a child with you. All the food came out hot and fresh and absolutely delicious and I love the option for the bubble tea where you can get two different flavors since there are so many to choose from. I will absolutely be back here for more food and more drinks. They also have a rewards program you can join, which is also a great benefit, especially during times when prices are so high.

I have heard many good things about this place. The place is tastefully decorated and I love the large Boba mi bubble tea statue in front. Lots of drinks to choose from including Vietnamese, Thai and bubble tea options. We ordered the house special pho, Banh mi charcuterie board, Almond milk tea with Crystal boba and mango smoothie with strawberry popping boba. Food came out quickly and lots of bean sprout, basil and jalepeno toppings to add to the pho for flavor. Was able to share the pho with my older son who loved it. He said it was the best lunch ever! Also added a fried egg on the side to cook in the broth which was delicious. My husband had the Charcuterie-Mi Board and he really enjoyed the concept of making his own. Generous toppings and bread was nice and crispy. Definitely will be back!

Pho broth is very very good. I had the shaved steak which was very tender, my friend had the brisket which was also very tender. There was ample protein. I love noodles, my friend thought there were too many noodles. Their bubble tea was great, I got brown sugar. We also ordered the chicken wings which were delightfully crisp with sauce on the side. I'd prefer tossed in sauce but whatever. The Bahn mi was excellent, best bread in Rochester, it featured the brisket which was a little light. They have a variety of desserts, including house made Vietnamese tiramisu. The service was friendly and attentive. The bathroom was nice and tidy.

They don't miss! This place has it all: banh mi, pho, and the most satisfying rice plates. I've found it challenging to find good banh mi in rochester but boba mi never fails! Every dish is so satisfying. And they have so many pandan desserts. I highly recommend the pandan cookie.

"Phở Mi": Beef brisket, onions, scallions, cilantro, basil, crispy shallots, and hoison sauce. Served with a side of pho broth.

We tried Boba Mi in Henrietta today and it did not disappoint. I got the "Phở Mi" which blended my two favorites -- Phở and Bánh mì -- like an amazing Vietnamese French Dip! My wife had the Tofu Bánh mì. We finished with Vanilla Bubble Waffles with Dubai Chocolate and Nutella+Strawberry Sauce. YUM!!! We will be back!!!

I had never been to Boba Mi before, but I'll definitely be going back! I ordered the beef banh mi and their special crème brûlée boba, and both were delicious. My boyfriend also got the beef banh mi and he got the Oreo smash boba. The banh mi was flavorful and the bread was light and fluffy, yet had a wonderful crust on the outside. The boba was also delicious and fresh. Service was quick and the employees were super friendly. The restaurant was quiet and we had no trouble finding a table. A very enjoyable visit overall and we hope to return soon.

That bowl of pho was absolutely perfect! Steaming hot and satisfying, just what I needed for this gloomy day. The service was quick and friendly, and the relaxed ambiance made the experience even better.

Delicious experience as always, with customer service to rave about! The cashier was so knowledgeable about every item on the menu and sold us immediately by describing everything with love! Great energy, refreshing food. We will always be back!

Today, my husband and I finally tried Boba Mi, and let me tell you--we're already planning our next visit. We've been to Vietnam, we know good Vietnamese food, and this place gets it right. First, let's talk drinks--so many options, I almost needed a flowchart to decide. Then came the food. My husband had the noodle bowl with grilled beef and declared it the best Vietnamese food in Rochester (which is a bold statement, considering how much we eat). I went for the Pho Dac Biet (Special Combo), and wow--the broth was fresh, flavorful, and had that perfect oil shimmer that screams "you're about to have a good time." The noodles? Cooked to perfection. Not a rice or noodle person? No problem! The Original Mi (Banh Mi) is here to save you. It's the perfect gateway sandwich into the world of Vietnamese subs, and they have plenty of varieties to choose from. My stomach tapped out before I could try them all, but trust me, I'm coming back. And the chicken wings? Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and served with a sweet sauce so good it should be classified information. Oh, and I almost forgot--desserts! I saw so many people ordering them, and I was way too full to even attempt it. But the smell alone was enough to make me regret my life choices. Just another reason to go back! Do yourself a favor and check out their dessert menu--you might need to strategize your meal to save room. If you love Vietnamese food, go to Boba Mi. If you think you don't, go anyway--you're probably wrong. And save room for dessert!

Fantastic for Rochester. I like this banh mi over the SEA me go place down the street on Mount hope because this place HAS THE RIGHT TYPE OF BREAD which makes a huge difference. You should have a good crisp and bread just melts into the tastiness of the sandwich. A lot of places buy the wrong bread. Customer service is good. Ambiance was fun, bright, clean, and cheerful. I like the big mural inside and the green and purple bright vibes that make the place stand out against commercial giants such as Taichi bubble tea. It is not hectic or as worn out as SEA which has been around longer. This is the closest Viet food to RIT campus and I really appreciate the big variety of street food. Have yet to try to pho yet- it is on the pricier end but that also tells me that they likely didn't use packets of bullion that some places use. Good banh mi. I would come back. that's a rare statement from me. The pickles were right, good slice of jalapeño, the meat combo was good, and the right amount of mayo/butter to bind it together. only feedback is that the meat was a little salty and could use more seasoning. Called a rice platter- also solid. We called lemon grass chicken- really like that they used broken rice here, the true authentic way to eat this dish over the places that use intact rice. Would only recommend using thigh or dark meat for chicken as the breast meat can be a little dry but the flavoring was very correct. Also called a waffle. good price- perfect egg waffle with ice cream. Did think the ice cream was sweeter end and wished they had the mango flavored one in stock. don't add Nutella on strawberry ice cream if you are afraid of super sweet. I made that mistake. otherwise the waffle was good. Would come back more often. May even make this a new favorite in my rotation. I hope they succeed and stick around as their location is notorious for high turnover rate but with anchors such as Revolution, the bun place, and Coco Garden, I hope they will be ok too.

***4.5 Stars*** Pleasantly surprised! Good riddance Subway, welcome Boba Mi! 2nd day in a row eating pho. Went to Roc Pho Shop the day before and Boba Mi compares favorably in my opinion. It's a bit more casual (order at the register) but that's a good thing. They did a good job remodeling the old Subway. The layout is the same, but it's warm and inviting with a purple color motif and a mural of a bahn mi sandwich with the various ingredients. I got greedy and ordered the house special pho ($14.95), their "Original" bahn mi ($7.95) and their pork dumplings ($6.95). I also washed it down with a large strawberry matcha latte ($7.25). Everything was tasty. Still like the pho at Saigon and Nam Vang better, but this might be my 3rd favorite pho in town. The bahn mi was good too, they really nailed the crunchy bread. Nitpicking a bit, I thought the carrots and daikon could use a little bit more pickling. My buddy enjoyed his rice dish and the strawberry matcha latte was also yummy and unique (for Rochester). Spoke with the owner, Chea, who seems like a nice and approachable guy. Wish him nothing but success and I definitely will be back.

Fantastic first experience at Boba Mi...we ate way too much but thoroughly enjoyed every bite! My hubby had a rice plate with Korean beef BBQ - it was a generous portion, great quality beef, tasty BBQ marinade, and very fresh cucumbers and veggies. He loved it! I had the beef brisket pho, in a broth cooked over 24 hours, with a healthy portion of basil, jalapenos and bean sprouts - with rice noodles it's gluten free, and it was delicious! The broth was the best pho broth I've had in Rochester - rich and complex without anything added. We had to have the bubble waffle, not gluten free, made with taro (ube), filled with vanilla ice cream - total decadence and the perfect birthday-month treat. We also had boba tea (a must do) - Jay had the honeydew with tapioca boba, and I had a duo with passionfruit tea on the one half and mango milk tea on the other, both with tapioca boba. Super yum!! To finish, we had to have Vietnam's famous "egg coffee," something we drank every day during our time in Vietnam - Boba Mi adds a frothy egg+ condensed-milk +sugar topping to drip-style Nguyen robusta coffee, then tops it with cocoa powder. It was just as we remembered - silky, rich and like dessert. Boba Mi is the only place in Rochester making this authentic egg coffee. If you've never had it, you have to try it!! Definitely recommend!! We can't wait to go back!!

Tried their milk tea, in my opinion it's okay but I like other places more. Their prices are also higher than other places in the area. The seating area is pretty decent to hang out at if you want to hang out or meet someone there.
