Well looks can be deceiving. My drink looks tasty but unfortunately it has no flavor at all. Let me say that I LOVE bubble tea Taro flavor to be exact. Before bubble tea gained in popularity I ordered it whenever I came across it, now that it can be found more readily I order it whenever I can. I was excited for this place since it's a couple blocks from my work, but this was terrible and I ended up throwing the rest away. I ordered a blended Taro bubble tea. I don't know how it's possible but my drink was warm barely any "slush" and bottom 2/3 warm, the slush melted almost instantly. The flavor was nonexistent I couldn't taste any Taro the only flavor was a slight sweet taste from the boba. The only point in their favor was that the boba was cooked correctly. Salem officially has a boba shop! Cool! I'm not super experienced in this Asian inspired drink, but I've had it enough to know what is good boba and what is not. This place is pretty good! I brought friends, and they agreed. I ordered two different milk teas: Jasmine and Taro, with boba as my "topping." You can do a split cup, and definitely wanted to take advantage of that awesomeness! There are so many fun and different options. The atmosphere is pretty good- I'd recommend a little more lighting, but the bright pink walls do make the place feel lively. Try this place out. Vanilla tea tastes really artificial, and the regular I didn't like either, although maybe my fault in part because I think they use an almond milk, which I wished I liked but I don't. Loved the boba boom at valley river center so I came to Salem to try this one. I am never going back. My boyfriend and I were the first and only customers that morning and the girl working had the worst bad attitude. Throwing things around because she was mad that I asked for a new cup because my first one was cracked and spilling. My second cup is also cracked and spilling. My family and I came in here for our first time less than about a week ago. I personally had boba before but I was visiting Oregon and we just wanted some good boba. We went inside and were greeted by a nice lady at the cashier. I already new what I wanted from my boba experience and waited for the rest of my family. The nice worker gave my family samples making sure they knew which one they wanted. My family didn't even ask she was just a PROFESSIONAL lady and was doing her job exceptionally. She made sure that we were great with our choices and even gave her own opinions to some in my family who couldn't make up their mind. Once she finished our order we waited around playing games with my family. They had big jenga, a boxer game, table soccer, and huge connect four. I just wanted to let you know that this would be such a GREAT place to hangout with your friends and family. The worker then informed us that there wasn't enough boba for all 5 of us, and that 2 of us would have to not have boba, since we were about 15 mins before their closing. She asked if we would like to substitute since the shortage of boba. She felt bad and gave us 2 free regular drink cards to reimburse the 2 in which we couldn't have boba. We enjoyed ALL the drinks even the ones we couldn't have boba, my mom even enjoyed the jelly one better than the boba. We ALL loved the boba and the AMAZING customer service we experienced.
