This place is so gross now and it's depressing. I LOVED this place back when the stern older Korean…read morelady was running it. The food was always fresh no matter what time of day you showed up, and it was consistently yummy. This place got me through the 1st trimester of my pregnancy in 2019. For some reason I forgot to upload my photos, but I think you can see from my photos the differences too! We went here all the time living in Bellevue. Skip forward to 2025 and I drove across town to here here again craving some good Korean food. Oh how sad I was. The newer photos are from August 2025. I arrived at the end of what should have been the lunch rush but the food was obviously old. Not to mention basically cold. The only truly hot thing was the crab rangoon I got instead of an egg roll (my request). The food is no longer good. Apparently the older lady retired and sold to someone else. They claim to be using the same recipes, but it doesn't taste the same. Everything seems more sugar and bland at the same time. The sesame potatoes, which were my favorite thing here, are gross now. The cucumber kimchi is SWEET. It isn't supposed to be sweet y'all. Everything seems extra "Americanized" now. The portions are still huge, but the price now matches it. There are better and more authentic Korean restaurants in Omaha than this place now. Hard pass. I hope she's enjoying her retirement at least; she earned it!

So I've been craving Korean food. So I found this place on Yelp not to far so I went there. Ordered…read moresome food. The price wasn't that bad. For all the food I ordered. The door sticks when you enter so be careful. When you enter there are table seating. The service was great. Lightning was ok kinda dim. But it's takeout so I don't mind it. Out of all the food tho the fried fish was sour on my second filet. Everything else was good.

I asked the server what dish had the most vegetables. She said bibimbap so that's what I ordered. Big Bro ordered chicken gangjeong. We received a tray with little dishes of finger food as an appetizer. Bean sprouts, broccoli, potatoes, and yams were some of the offerings. The bibimbap was served in a bowl with rice at the bottom some chopped beef, spinach, bean sprouts, cabbage, and carrots around the sides of the bowl with a fried egg in the middle. A sauce in a ketchup-style squeeze container came with it. It looked like ketchup so I decided not to try it. I wasn't thrilled with the spinach, but the rest was good and filled my request for veggies. It was a different taste experience and a nice change. Big Bro's turned out to be fried chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce. He said it was so-so, not something he would probably get again. The server brought us complimentary desert which she explained looked like ice cream but wasn't. It was frozen Greek yogurt mixed with tangerine. It was lovely and a nice surprise. Service was quick and the menu is large so there's plenty to try on a next visit.

Why was this place NOT packed? With four different places to eat, everyone's pallet is quenched!…read more Don't let the construction detour you, Kamp is a must stop during these spring/summer weekdays and weekends. Nestled in the heart of the Blackstone District on a prime corner lot, you'll find a hip spot to indulge in eats AND drinks while people watching, dog watching, and more importantly... socializing! We HAD to get Taco Co. and their nacho appetizer sans cilantro and jalepenos (yes, we've already established I'm a ween when it comes to heat ). The best! Never soggy chips, doused in beans, protein (if you choose), cheese, sour cream, and so so good. Much smaller portion the Benson local and that's perfect for us. Visited Nice Rollz, and grabbed their Crab Rangoon Korean Corndog and lemme tell you... that cheese pull was REDICK, and then some. Perfect balance to the sweet and savory combo. The hotdog itself which was much appreciated (IYKYK). A must try for sure. Of course I had to order their Kamp Fire off their drink menu, and if you like those spicy/smokey drinks like me, this one with Mezcal is for YOU! Highly recommend Can't beat a one stop shop essentially, plus the foot traffic, parking (the lot just NE of Kamp actually) additions, and much more to see!

Lots of seating options with huge windows looking out to the Blackstone area. There is a big bar in the middle. We got a variety of their Korean Corn dogs. We had their Hot Cheeto, French Fry, Ramen and OG. All were soo good and cooked to perfection with loads of flavor. We'll definitely be back!

Every bite was incredible: perfectly crunchy on the outside, stretchy and melty cheese on the inside, with the sweet-and-spicy kick from the purple Doritos taking it to another level. Chef's kiss. My friends ordered the Hot Cheetos cheese dogs, and they loved them so much they refused to share -- which says a lot, because we usually sample each other's food. This time? Not a chance. They were just that good. Without a doubt, this is the best street/mall food I've tried in Nebraska. The long lines are absolutely worth it and exist for a reason. A must-try!

One of the places we always stop in the Omaha area is the Nebraska Crossing Outlet mall which is actually in Gretna NE (just West of Omaha). I remember there being a Runza at Nebraska Crossing; the sign is actually still up on the highway markers too... I Googled for Runza and looked around for one...and I guess it's no longer an option. But I did find Kong Dog...! Not to be confused with King Kong Burgers... Kong Dog is Korean corn dogs as well as wings, sandwiches, and a whole line of drinks. Oddly enough the wings etc. are not mentioned online..., but are featured on their in store menu board. Only the corn dogs and drinks are shown online. While the girls were at Coach and my buddy was at Nike I slid over for an original all beef sausage corn dog. The original coating is more sugar than anything. A combination of sweet and savory! You order and pay at the counter. My wait was only a few minutes long. With this being an outlet mall location the space is small and they have low top tables and chairs as well as a counter to sit at along the windows. Handed over hot and fresh. Even with it being around 100 degrees F out I took my corn dog to go and enjoyed it outside at a table in the shade. Not a preplanned stop, but a nice surprise...! https://kongdog.us/
