The name has changed from when it first opened, I think - the sign now says MochiCo - and it opens late morning, which seems a little odd for a donut shop, but I'll eat a donut anytime, so I'm fine with it. There's almost a bit of almond essence flavor mixed in with some fruity undertones on top of the dairy creaminess. There's barely any tea flavor or astringency. It feels like this drink is made from powder and maybe they accidentally use the same scoop in multiple containers, which means the drinks get a little contaminated with off flavors. Not a great drink overall. The boba, on the other hand, is actually not bad at all - in fact, I feel like they've improved through the years. The boba used to be exceptionally hard with no chew, but it's now just a bit on the firm side for my tastes with a decent chew. They are soaked in a sugary syrup that helps balance the boba against the sweet drink. (3/5) They charge a 3% service charge even if you order in store rather than online.
