Our sales rep Tino was patient with all my questions, even helped me contact Hyundai to find out about the warranty. Long story short, we were treated well and with respect, got a decent trade-in for our Subaru, and drove the new car home that day. It was a positive experience, we love the car, and we're happy with every aspect of our interaction with Brustolon. Thanks!

DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! F BBB rating. I chose to purchase my own truck from the dealership --…read morea 2022 truck that I believed would provide reliability and peace of mind. The sales experience was excellent. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ended. Within weeks of purchasing the truck, I noticed a strong burning antifreeze smell. I monitored the coolant reservoir carefully and initially assumed coolant may have spilled during service and was simply burning off. On February 8th of last year, while traveling to New Hampshire with my wife, the truck began filling with raw exhaust fumes while parked. Smoke was coming from under the hood. I later discovered that an oxygen sensor had backed itself out. I purchased tools, repaired it myself, and made it home safely. The antifreeze smell, however, continued. I contacted the service department and brought the truck in, taking time off from work to do so. I was told there was "no leak." Weeks later, I had to add two quarts of coolant. I returned again, took another day off work, left the truck overnight for pressure testing, and was again told there was "no leak." A short time later, I had to add nearly a gallon of coolant. When I contacted the service department for a third time, I was again questioned about why I believed there was a leak. I explained that losing nearly a gallon of coolant was the reason. This time, the dealership finally identified a leaking radiator. The truck remained at the dealership for five days while I arranged rides to and from work and borrowed vehicles from family. When I picked the truck up, I was charged $65 for a hose that I was told was "not covered" under my so-called bumper-to-bumper warranty because "there is no real such thing as a bumper-to-bumper warranty." Then, in October, the instrument panel illuminated with multiple warnings and the truck entered limp mode. I was informed the Engine Coolant Bypass Valve had failed and that the repair was extensive and parts were difficult to obtain. The truck remained in the shop for 13 days. I continued smelling burning antifreeze and now also experienced raw exhaust fumes entering the cab. Soon afterward the dashboard again lit up with warnings, the truck went into limp mode, and the engine began shaking under acceleration. I immediately turned around and contacted the dealership. At this point, this was my ninth trip to the service department in approximately one year. On January 12th, I again took time off work and contacted the dealership. I explained my frustration to management and requested assistance. The dealership arranged to tow the truck and provided me with a loaner vehicle. Five days later, I was informed the truck was repaired. Approximately eight miles after leaving the dealership, the truck began pouring smoke from under the hood. I pulled over in 12-degree weather with my wife inside the vehicle and immediately contacted the dealership. About 30 minutes later, an employee arrived -- who happened to be the owner's son -- and brought us back to the dealership while arrangements were made to retrieve the truck. After leaving the dealership and stopping for lunch in our hometown, I was shocked to see my truck drive into a Home Depot parking lot approximately 20 miles away in another state. The truck had supposedly been disabled and left where it broke down. I confronted the individual driving it with police present after believing someone had taken the truck without authorization. The driver identified himself as the service manager -- another son of the owner -- and explained he was "testing" the vehicle while also stopping to shop. When I questioned why my vehicle was driven across state lines and used for personal errands after breaking down, I was told he "needed to pick up a few things" and asked, "What is wrong with that?" Owner Cindy Brustolon Casey later expressed frustration about my involving police. I explained that I had been instructed to leave the keys in a disabled vehicle and then unexpectedly found it being used miles away in another state. At this point, I no longer felt safe driving the truck. The vehicle repeatedly filled with raw exhaust fumes. My wife became physically ill from the fumes and refused to travel in it. The truck repeatedly entered limp mode, smoked from under the hood, and experienced recurring cooling system issues despite numerous service visits. I explained to owner that I was not looking for special treatment or asking anyone to lose money. I simply wanted a safe and reliable vehicle. I believed customer service, accountability, and safety still mattered. Eventually, owner Cindy Brustolon Casey told me she would help place me into another truck. However, when I identified vehicles on the dealership lot that interested me, I was repeatedly told those vehicles had "bad Carfax reports" and were not recommended. I was told if I wanted an different truck I would need to put $5000 down to get into the same truck.

I just purchased a high-end previously owned EV at Valenti Ford in Mystic, CT, and can say with…read moreconfidence that I would recommend and repeat the experience. Communication was top notch, the price was fair, and the sale process itself has been very positive. I felt supported by a team. By way of background, I'm in my early 60s, and have purchased many vehicles, primarily newer autos coming off lease or single owners, from family autos to executive sedans. I began looking on Edmunds and YouTube at reviews of automobiles that would suit my lifestyle and provide good value. I had several prospects spread over RI, CT & MA, and, as informative as reviews are, there is no substitute for spending time in the driver's seat. A couple of the dealerships I visited were just disappointing - advertised cars not available, "in arbitration" or not as advertised. Calls were not promptly returned or returned at all. Valenti Ford proved different. My initial voicemail was promptly returned and although the salesperson was not available, they made sure that I knew who I could speak with. My sales and leasing associate was Elisa Calkins, who was good-humored, responsive, honest and freely admitted when she needed back-up from members of her team regarding the vehicle I had in mind. David Tignonsini is the sales manager at Valenti and deserves the title. He is clearly a car guy. He had handled the intake of the vehicle and its service once it arrived at the dealership. David provided me with a full vehicle service report, an up-to-date car fax and the original MSRP window sticker. Both Elisa and David took time to go over the vehicle and Elisa accompanied me on an exciting and comprehensive test drive. I felt that they both wanted a satisfied customer. And while I was interested in the auto, I left the dealership to do some further research on the brand and the car itself. No pressure. A couple of days later, I decided to move forward and Elisa scheduled me with Marcy in finance. Marcy found an excellent interest rate from a credit union in RI and we walked through the P&S paperwork briskly, clearly and professionally. Post-closing, Joel Valenti worked through an issue regarding a missing part to a satisfactory conclusion. Elisa installed the temporary plates and explained the process of getting RI plates and registration, with no trip to the DMV for me. Al accompanied me across the border to Westerly, RI for the VIN check. Would I buy from Valenti Ford again? Yes.

My wife has purchased 2 vehicles from Valenti and although we like the salesman we dealt with the…read moreservice department is a scam! The first vehicles was a Jeep Patriot and everything was great with the vehicle until after the warranty ran out. All of a sudden it needed $4,000.00 worth of suspension work and it was dangerous to drive according to the service tech. We also get from the dealership that this is a problem with the Patriot so we decided to trade it in and we purchased a new 2019 Jeep Cherokee. Fast forward to 2024, warranty expired, 2 payments left on the vehicle that has less than 50,000 miles and my wife brings it in for the "complimentary oil change". When my wife gets there she mentions she feels a bit of a vibration once in a while and can you check it out and please rotate my tires. The service advisor comes to speak to my wife and this is what the "ADVISOR" or whatever person tells her( and its also on estimate invoice). "Brake pads are at 8MM but rotors are warped with rust ridges and rust on the backside. $1,350.00 plus tax. Driveshaft bearing leaking from input transmission estimate to replace is $2,025.00 plus tax. Rear shocks leaking $589.00 plus tax. Estimate total $3,964.00 plus tax. What a coincidence, close to $4,000.00! So my wife, just absolutely amazed at the outcome of an oil change, tire rotation and "Multi Point Inspection ask for the video walk around of the issues as Valenti did in the past and was told "we don't do that anymore". Asked for pictures, which she did finally get, but was told they were on the techs personal cellphone and she couldn't get them. THEN, she was asked when she wanted to schedule the repairs. My wife absolutely refused to schedule, explained she was going to discuss with me, her spouse, and we would go from there. Then the "scare" tactics begin-your driveshaft may fall out, your brakes may fail, yada yada yada. She told them to get me my car as I am leaving. They also said they test drove the car but my wife never seen it leave? Teleportation, super secret entrance/exit nobody can see, underground tunnel? SO....we brought the vehicle to my mechanic and he will be looking everything over and HIS estimate for a complete brake job is $500.00 cheaper before even taking the wheels off. As far as the vibration I wonder if Valenti balanced the tires before rotating? BOB, you lost a customer and I wouldn't advise anyone to use their service!

The Valenti Chrysler and jeep service center was a life saver in a desperate time of need…read more I wish I could give this place ten stars! The service team at Valenti is truly one of a kind. My husband and I bought a new car from another dealer on Long Island for a cross country road trip. We bought a new car instead of a used one so that there would not be any issues, but there ended up being an issue that triggered an engine light. Our brand new car spent three weeks at the Long Island service center, and the repair people there could not tell us what was wrong. The service on Long Island was so unhelpful, and at points hostile, that we gave up and discovered Valenti on our first cross country stop in Mystic. We were immediately greeted by Heidi who was super nice. She set us up with an appointment and did a quick code read on the car as we waited for Tyler, another mechanic. My husband and I were both shocked at how quick and attentive Heidi was despite us being a walk-in. It was clear after meeting with Tyler, only 2 minutes later, that the Valenti service center has a terrific team. Tyler was extremely knowledgeable and was so optimistic and confident, we ended up feeling the same. He supplied us with a loaner vehicle and the whole team fixed our car in a single working day. They kept us updated via phone to let us know what was going on. The Valenti service center is unmatched in their kindness, communication and expertise. I am sending anyone who has a car issue there! I could not be happier! A big thanks to everyone who works there- we thought our whole trip was going to be ruined because of our car issue! Tyler, Heidi and the team really swooped in and put us right back on track! If we ever have car troubles again, we are going straight here

Stay away from their service department, we've all known about how dealerships charge more for…read moreservice but when they underhanded and sleezy it's time to go... first they replaced a hood patch last year for $130, it broke after one use and when I called when going in for an oil change - oh will take care of you. Taking care is apparently to double the charge and ask for $230, no thanks. Then we'll give you a ride because we need 8 hours to do an oil change and "3 hours" if recall work, oh but when you call to see if it's done after getting a text video from our tech 4 hours prior that the work is done we're not going to give you a ride because the driver went home and no one else knows how to drive a car? Not only that but person in charge of your vehicle won't ring you out we'll have a different person and we'll say with a smirk "oh you found a ride." The attitude and lack of professionalism here was amazing! So many other dealerships in this area to try.

My decision to purchase from Valenti was based on the relationship that had been developed with them 2014; since that time they had been servicing my 1998 Ford Ranger. Also, because I had also developed a relationship with Joel, the Sales Manager, a very professional, pleasant, kind and nice young man, the decision to purchase a pre-owned vehicle from Valenti was a no-brainer. The morning of my purchase, Joel connected me with Paul from Sales & Leasing. Paul has a caring, warm and open personality; he was very professional during the entire buying experience. He was patient, answering all of my questions, and he treated me as if my purchase was the most important purchase of the day. As a matter of fact ALL the staff that day at Valenti made me feel special. Paul showed me the Cruze, explained the vehicle and each segment of the buying process as we went along, up to and including the test drive. After deciding on the Cruze, Paul and Joel obtained the financing I needed (and that fit in my budget); Paul even handled contacting my auto insurance company to make the transfer. Next, I was introduced to David, the Business Manager. He too, was also very kind, professional and courteous. He went over all of the financial papers that needed signatures, explaining each one, step by step, page by page. He was also the liaison between myself and DMV. Because of him, I walked out the door with my new registration and license plates. Throughout the purchasing process there was not one moment that I felt any pressure to buy anything; it was a very pleasurable experience that I will remember for a long time, and because of Joel, Paul, and David and the entire Valenti Ford staff, the stereotype of the pushy and fast-talking car salesperson was thrown out the window! I can't say enough about how well I was treated, which will make me want to return for any future car needs. Without reservation, I will highly recommend Valenti Ford to anyone wanting a new or pre-owned vehicle. The saddest part about the entire experience is that because I purchased a Chevy, my time with the Ford staff will be limited; now I'll be going to Valenti Chevy (right next door-).
