Traveling for work and found myself staying in Wapakoneta after a long day of work. It was getting late and I was beyond wore out and tired so did not want to really go anywhere but was hungry.Bob Evan's is right next to the hotel I stay at when I am in town so I just put in a carry out order.I ordered the steak tips with double mashed potatoes and gravy,a blueberry lemonade,and a strawberry shortcake like pie.This is probably one of the worst meals I've had while traveling.The steak tips were way overcooked with the amount of onions outweighing the meat.The amount of gravy on the entire meal was very lacking, I mean very lacking.It was almost like they distributed the gravy with a eye dropper.As for the pie and lemonade they were definitely the stars of the meal.The lemonade had a good mix of sweet and tart loaded with actual blueberries.The pie nothing special but was really good tasting.Not sure if it was a off day but Bob Evan's Wapakoneta please do better. read more

My friend asked for extra crispy bacon and wheat bread she got really wobbly bacon and white bread that was so tore up you couldn't even put jelly on it home fries were not even cooked all the way through in the eggs were completely busted and waitress didn't even say sorry and we just said we can eat that. As I walked in I was meet by a young man that sat me at a table I we waited there until my server decided to come to the table which took some great time. At which time I told her I wanted a sweet tea. She told me she wanted me to order so I ordered at which time I waited for my tea to arrive back at my table here again for sometime I waited nothing came. I asked to speak to our manager spoke to an older gentleman that did not have a concern about what was happening, so I canceled my order and walked out. This is not a good place to eat. So by the looks of it by the reply I got just like others is to go to a link an you could talk to someone but instead of that it brings you to a link that wants you to order something lol are you kidding me Hay but iam sure people like me see right through this I don't care what you have to say well that's ok I will never try that place agin an for other that go trying to get help from them just know your not getting it read more

This Bob Evans and the two in Lima are some of the lesser Bob's out there. Food is meh and service usually isn't anything great either. Always seems dirty and crusty. Nothing seems to ever taste the same each time you go. The older crowd seems to really enjoy it though. read more

The food is okay, sometimes portions that seem too small. The service is pretty decent usually. The tables are broken or uneven. The walls are beyond marked up and possibly dirty. The bathroom is probably one of the worst bathrooms I've ever been in. Fast food restaurants have nicer bathrooms. It made me want to leave and not even eat. We've been on the road quite a bit lately and noticed a trend in restaurants where the staff seems disengaged from the customers. They just don't seem to care. Well, this Bob Evans was quite the opposite. Everyone was friendly, the staff was friendly to one another and helped each other. The food was out quickly, and was hot. Great all around service and experience. We aren't used to being treated so well at a chain restaurant. I love doing carry out here. It's quick and easy to order on my phone. My order is always ready for pick up when they say it will be done. Perfect on a rainy afternoon when you just want to get home and relax. We have visited Bob Evans regularly since they opened up in Wapak and always been happy with the experience. We are not overly demanding people when we go out to eat so even if somethings not perfect we roll with it. This place is usually pretty busy so I expect a little hiccup now and then. My favorites include; beef vegetable soup, pancakes. Chicken and dumplings, salads, pot roast sandwich. Oh yeah their dinner rolls are pretty delicious as well. They come out warm and fluffy., so good. This particular day I went for breakfast and ordered the classic breakfast which includes; eggs, pancakes or biscuits and breakfast meat. I ordered the pancakes because no other place makes them quite like they do. The pancakes are buttermilk pancakes and fills up a plate :-) they are warm, fluffy, delicious :-) the eggs are typical restaurant eggs as well as the sausage. This is my go to spot when I come home. I can eat here every day and not get sick of it because they offer so many different options. If you want a sandwich, burger, light, comforting you will find it here. read more

Me and my friend order banana bread and biscuits with our meals we got neither of them and still got charged for it.

I'm only given this a one star rating because the cinnamon biscuits were good. Just got back from eating breakfast at this Bob Evans today. Unfortunately I cannot leave a better rating regarding my experience. I arrived with family members around 12:15for a late breakfast after church. After about a 20 minute wait we got seated and proceeded with our order. So far so good. After initial order placed we ask for a side of the cinnamon biscuits. When the kitchen made these they cleared out our order as though it was completed. After waiting for another 20 minutes biscuits came out and were very good. We waited for our breakfast items to come out from the kitchen and waited some more. Finally after a while I waitress came and apologized because there was a mixup on the order and it had to be re-entered into their system. Other people around us continue to get their food items but we waited. The manager came and apologized for the delay and assured us that our food would be out shortly. After waiting our server came around and assured us that our order was cooking and would be out shortly. Another person came out a few minutes later and assured us that our order was being put ahead of all the other orders that had been placed. We waited and waited and more people got their food and we waited some more . Finally we got our food. The hashbrowns were cold, my bacon was burnt to a crisp and black. It took us two hours to get our food and be on our way. They did make an adjustment on the bill but this will probably be my last trip to Bob Evans read more

I had a very interesting experience. The waitress(es) were very attentive, and the food has good flavor. It harmonized well with the rest of the plate, and it looked wonderful. However, even with salt/pepper, my potatoes were slightly bland, and the eggs, although "Sunny side up", The eggs were still slightly hard to break. The crepe wasn't hot. I also had candied bacon, and the "candied" part of the bacon slide right off, and I noticed it sat at the window for 15 minutes before they made it to my table. I've always liked the bean soup which is described as beans, smoked ham and onion. Today I picked up a quart for supper. Very disappointed that in the entire quart there was less than a teaspoon of ham slivers that couldn't have amount to more than a 1 -inch cube of meat. They are getting very stingy. Worst dining experience I've ever had. When we got there, we waited 5 minutes for someone to take out drink order, and it wasn't even our waitress. Not so bad really, but not a good sign. We then saw our waitress attend to someone who had arrived a few minutes after us, which again, was annoying, but wouldn't be enough for me to write this. It was after everyone around us, that had arrived later than us, began receiving their food that I was starting to get a little miffed - we had already been there at least a half hour. Our waitress comes by to inform us that "something happened to our ticket" and our food would be out shortly. And slowly but surely, everyone who had come in after us began to leave, and we still hadn't gotten our food. When our food finally did come about 15 minutes after we had been informed it would "be out shortly", we realized it definitely was not worth the wait (we had considered walking out). I ordered a waffle with a side of extra crispy bacon, and my boyfriend had ordered a classic breakfast with French toast. How something so simple could have taken over 45 minutes is beyond me. It's almost as if they said, "Let's get everyone else their food on time but this order that's been waiting forever can still wait." The eggs looked fake, the sausage was almost certainly frozen and quickly fried, and my waffle was flimsy and slimy on the inside - no doubt hastily made, even though I saw it sitting on the ledge for 15 minutes before our food was brought over. The only redeeming qualities of our experience were that the French toast was acceptable, my bacon was actually done right, and we were there together to share in the misery. You know, I never write reviews, and I never complain at restaurants, but this was just too terrible, so here I am. If I could give my experience 0 stars, I would. Never coming back. read more
