I didn't wanna go to the dirty little Bob's big boy and it was way past time for me to die so I pulled in here and thought, oh well. I was greeted for a change. I was seated right away and the server was over in a minute or two took my order that my sweet tea as I asked for it in my banana bread as I asked for the chicken salad sandwich in the chicken salad platter are both back. While visiting friends, they introduced us to Bob Evans and it didn't disappoint! Service is friendly and prompt, casual atmosphere and meal sizes are quite good but not so much that you're wasting food! It's a great way to get filled up, especially when you're out and about! read more

Total of 3 cars in the parking lot , go inside it's a 1/2 wait. waitresses were standing around talking, not sure what was going on there.pretty precise it was exactly 1/2 hour. I ordered blueberry pancakes, they came back cold. 15 minutes later I got the waitresses attention , she had them remake them, it took about 20 minutes to get them. This plate was also cold. The manager told me it's cold because the blueberry topping is kept cold and poured on the pancakes. Do better Bob Evans your food quality has fallen badly. As soon as I walked in the area felt just like any other Bob Evan's, as it should! Looked good and clean The service was extremely quick! I was seated down quickly, and right away I was met with someone that had a smile. Even during the meal I had two different staff members stop by to ask how everyone was and if I needed anything at all. I ordered the country fried steak meal. It came out fairly quickly. I didn't time it, but I believe it took about 10 minutes, plus or minus 5. I've seen the recent reviews here, and I wondered why they were getting reviews like that, so I went to investigate. Most of these reviews seem false for my experience(by no means will I discredit their experience). As of now, they seem to have their acts together and food hot! Waited 5 mins for server to greet us. Asked for kids menu, never got em. 20 mins to get water!! Asked for rolls only got biscuits. Asked for side plates. Never got em. Took 4 mins to get honey while our biscuits all got cold. Food of course was wayyy slow. And it wasn't even busy - surprisingly dead. Only 2 other tables were sat! We unfortunately left the Bagley rd location b/c of a 30 min wait & drove here which had no wait. Can't believe they don't have any new soups. Same 3 old options. The food took an hour to be delivered. We only ordered simple side items too as we had 4 kid's orders. The manager did come over upon request & apologized for the very slow service considering we were the only table left when we finished. She took care of the bill and we left a tip. My husband ordered take out and picked the food up at 8 o'clock, plenty of time before closing. When he got home and opened the order, several things were missing. He called this location to see if he could either get a refund or pick up the missing items. Someone answered and immediately hung up, so my husband called back thinking the line had been dropped. Someone on the other line yelled "STOP CALLING" and hung up on him. I'm in disbelieve at how rude the service was, for absolutely no reason! I'm watching my niece and nephew and decided to take them out to dinner. The original place we had gone to had the wrong time and was unfortunately closed when we got there. They were looking forward to getting some breakfast and I looked on Yelp to find another place. Thank God Bob Evans was across the street. We walked in and were greeted right away and seated. Our waitress I didn't catch her name was very friendly and very quick with drinks and bringing out our orders. All of us opted to get a breakfast. I got the southwest avocado omelette with home fries and toast, really good. The kids got plenty o pancakes. The pancakes had whipped cream so they were happy. Aside from the toast being a bit dark everything was good. They even had little snacks at the register, the kids were happy they had tic tacs. I also got a huge cookie. Slow and mixed cold food waiting for a to go meal on a Sunday morning to go go the wrong food

This review was going to be much different. We called in to order 2 western omelets, one with cheddar and one with american and home fries and one side of sausage. What a challenging call! The girl totally screwed up the order. I had to explain multiple times I wanted to buy a side of sausage. She kept asking if I wanted cheese on the home fries I explained no; the cheese is for the omelets! Get the food home, one omelet looked good but she put cheese on the damn potatoes anyways. The other omelet had nothing except cheese!? The portion of potatoes was soo small compared to the other one too. $28 later...I called to complain. Mia the manager apologized and personally brought 2 fresh orders to me! That was great customer service. I still feel their food is a bit over priced for what u get, but Mia definitely turned this bad experience to a positive one! read more

Well my favorite use to be breakfast at Bob Evans but they have gone down hill these last few years. It's a shame because they really had the down home cooking! Fried mush was my go to with a typical egg, home fries, bacon meal. They did away with the fried mush. Lately skimpy bacon. More like wafer thin overcooked. Homes fries are few you need to look under the eggs. So far the eggs haven't disappeared. Now the mashed potatoes, coleslaw and gravy has gotten small. I think if they change those big containers to something smaller, you wouldn't be disappointed. The food taste is still good, just much smaller portions. Mostly do takeout, maybe if we dine in they really can't minimize the portions because you would see it right away, lol read more

Today, we thought how lucky 230 pm and the parking lot isn't full, how wonderful we can get a guickbite. Well shift must have been changing, one waitress running her butt off, and three other wiping thing off. We we were sat and wait 20 min, till my husband asked if we could get drinks and a waitress. Not even a manager to be seen. The one waitress was trying her best, but teamwork did not exist today. OUR WAITRESS will receive a good tip, but the Bob Evans on Snow Road in brookpark oh will not. Adequate. Barely. I got the meat loaf. I subbed out coleslaw for green beans. It came with fairly good REAL mashed potatoes. Best? The coleslaw. Second? The mashed potatoes. The meatloaf? Blech. I ordered a Thanksgiving meal from this Bob Evans and it was the worst most disappointing meal of my life. We ordered it ahead of time and waited until Tuesday evening to pick it up. I ordered a Turkey fiest for 8 for $109.99 and received a ham meal for three. Plus there was no cranberry sauce, no stuffing, no turkey and no pumpkin bread. I was embarrassed because we expected a meal for 8. We had to make due with the meager meal we had. I tried to call the Brookpark store and was hung up on or the phone was not answered. I am in town from Los Angeles to visit my parents for the summer. I had never been to Bob Evans and I had a gift card to go there from amazon. I took a date there for dinner about an hour before they closed (I know! I hate being that person haha but the staff was incredible and friendly about it anyways !) after our meal I went up to the register to pay. I brought up the gift card to be scanned off of my iPhone. For some reason their system just couldn't process the gift card. Instead of me paying using my bank card, the manager said " hey don't worry about it, your meal is on us! Just contact amazon and see if they can fix your card or figure out what is wrong with it" Being from LA this almost never happens! I was shocked and very grateful. The staff at this location are very polite and friendly. Props to their manager. I will definitely be returning to this location. Once a year when I come home to Cleveland, Ohio for the holiday's I go to the Bob Evans at the end of our street and get the artery clogging Homestead Breakfast. 2 eggs over easy, hashbrowns. Bob's famous sausage patties, 2 buttermilk biscuits and a side bowl of sausage gravy. On Thanksgiving Day. Well, I must say that this was my first Bob Evans restaurant experience and it was only meh although I buy the hot sausage about once every two weeks because it makes everything taste so much better!! I went with my BF, his brother, mother and grandpa and we wanted to have a nice departing breakfast style meal before we headed back to DC. W ordered tea and coffee and water for the table. The tea was perfection and she gave me more than enough honey and lemon, which was awesome. They ordered the sunshine skillet, mush, two sausage gravy plates and I had the farmers plate. My scrambled eggs were bland, the potatoes were not seasoned and not roasted at all( like they seemed like they were boiled, then placed on a skillet for 10 seconds) and lastly the sausage was good because it was just as I expected. The pancakes were just ok as the blueberry compote was almost pure sugar although the pancakes were chock full of blueberries which was quite a plus. Everyone else gave their food a meh as well, but I think the true issue was the service. Rihann(sp?) was quite forgetful and left our table in the lurch multiple times, from giving me the wrong pancakes, to not giving his grandpa the right dish, to over pouring gravy and not providing a to go container after 10 minutes of waiting. Tsk, tsk. All in all, I will keep buying the sausage, but not sure how inclined I will be to ever eat at the restaurant again. read more

Eggs that were all broken from carelessly thrown in the bag. Manager needs to be changed saw customers in line at carry out and didn't do anything to help out his employees. My child got hot chocolate and she brought no napkins. I had to get up and ask for some. She then brought our food our and no silverware. I had to get up and ask for that as well. She never came back to check on us at all. I had to get up and ask for more syrup and refills. I finally asked for a manager. He did nothing. Our food was Luke warm and our service sucked. Today my family and I had one of our worst experiences ever with a Bob Evans. We didn't mind the wait to be seated as we expected that however it took 50 minutes to get our food. When we did finally receive it it was cold. No one had come to tell us it was running late or offer to refill coffee. The manager on duty even helped drover our food without an apology while our server said she had gotten after the kitchen for taking so long. Given the lack of service and a manager that clearly was not concerned, after all they had a busy morning, we got up and left without eating. We will never step foot in that Bob Evans again and will be hard pressed to visit another one in The Cleveland/Akron market. read more
