I have been in construction for the last 30 years. I spent 20 years in the field which really pit a stain on my body. I am a very active/athletic guy. I played sports through high school. I ride off-road motorcycles. I also wakeboard and snowboard at a competitive level. My body has taken a beating from all the high impact sports. Over the years i've had many injuries to my back, hips and shoulders. I am currently 47 years old. Over the last five years my back pain and sciatic nerve pain has been extremely bad. On an average day my pain is between 5-7. But over the last six months my pain was constant at about 8 or 9 out of 10. I do believe this treatment can work and can be very beneficial for the right patient. For us, the biggest obstacle was simply the cost. The treatment plan we discussed was in the range of approximately $7,000, and these types of treatments can easily run into the thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, that makes it inaccessible for many people, especially those who are underinsured or simply do not have several thousand dollars available for treatment. It is also unfortunate that insurance is not accepted, although I can understand that there may be reasons behind that decision. So, I am not criticizing Dr.Dudum or the treatment itself. I believe in the treatment. My concern is affordability and accessibility. If you have the financial means, I would certainly encourage you to explore it and decide whether it is right for you.
