Dr. Steel has truly changed my life. As a former football player and a firefighter for the past 18 years, I've put my body through a tremendous amount of physical stress. Years of heavy lifting, demanding calls, training, and old football injuries had taken a toll on how I moved and felt every day. Since receiving treatment from Dr. Steel, I finally feel normal again. I've regained mobility and function, have significantly less pain and stiffness, and can perform my job and enjoy life with much greater confidence. His care has helped me feel stronger, move better, and recover in ways I honestly didn't think were possible after so many years of wear and tear. Dr. Steel takes the time to listen, understand the source of the problem, and create a treatment plan that actually works. He is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and genuinely invested in his patients' long-term health--not simply providing temporary relief. My results were so impressive that my wife began seeing him as well, and she has improved drastically. We have both experienced a major difference in our comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life. I cannot recommend Dr. Steel highly enough. If you're dealing with chronic pain, limited movement, old injuries, or simply want your body to function at its best, he is absolutely worth seeing. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has done for our family. Cheers Yelpers and stay safe read more

Dr. Jeremy Steele is a lifesaver. I was always skeptical of chiropractic care even though multiple family members went. After I was hospitalized for almost a week, I couldn't stand up straight and was in so much pain. I started going to Dr. Jeremy a couple times a week and he brought me back, truly made such a huge impact in my life. I now only have to go every few weeks for maintenance. I recommend him to literally every person I know. If I could give him more stars, I would! His wife Jackie also provides services sometimes, they are both so friendly and supportive. I am grateful for them. read more

Steel Chiropractic - Chiropractors Near Me - Lafayette, California

Found Steele Chiropractic by accident, looking for one close to home. I contacted Dr Jeremy and was in his office the next day for consultation. With the lower back pain that comes and goes which was generated by some genetic bone shortage issues, I was rather skeptical but hopeful. Dr Jeremy had a plan for me that included in office visits and some homework (stretching, exercises) that helped the nerves heal faster. He took his time and focused on different parts of my body each visit and with different adjustments: hips, back, legs, neck and shoulders the pain was going away fast. I feel great and my body feels relaxed and healed. With the advice I got and treatment I received I would highly recommend Dr Jeremy and his practice. He is there for his patients and will help you just like he helped me. Thank you!! read more

My 13 year old son and I were referred to Dr. Jeremy Steel by a friend of ours. I am so grateful we found Dr. Steel! He has excellent bedside manner, making us feel comfortable for every adjustment, and performing the adjustments with care and precision. If there is anything we don't understand, he takes time to explain and demonstrate if needed. Everything in the office is clean, he sanitizes often, and absolutely between every patient. Dr. Steel is an amazingly kind and caring person. He gets to know his patients and does everything in his power to support them in reaching their chiropractic goals. He has a positive spirit that probably does half of the healing on its own! His healing hands are a bonus. My son and I found relief from years of car accident and sports injury pain in just weeks thanks to Dr. Steel! Beyond Dr. Steel & the exam room, the greater office team is amazing, too! Julia always greets us with a smile at the front desk and is super kind and helpful, especially with managing appointments. The whole team keeps the patients educated and engaged with health care in fun ways, like raffles, online webinars, and seasonal events. Overall, you can't lose with any of the doctors at this practice, but we give Dr. Steel 10 stars! read more

Anthem Blue Cross members beware! Dr. Behymer (who apparently shares an office and phone number with Dr. Steel) in in-network, but Dr. Steel is not. I found this practice online through Anthem and made an appointment because I had a pinched nerve in my neck. They made me pay up front and told me my insurance company would reimburse me (I am fully covered for in-network providers). But then the insurance company didn't cover because Dr. Steel is out of network! $170 for the first visit! What a rip-off! What's worse, he didn't help my neck but seemed to just want to sell me a year of treatment! It felt like a classic BAIT AND SWITCH. My insurance company said they could just re-bill, but the practice refused. In short, what a rip-off! read more

Dr. Jeremy Steel is a 5+ star!!! He and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They make it easy on my work schedule and Dr. Steel is an amazing chiropractor. He also teaches at a local Chiropractic college and is REALLY knowledgeable about the body. Go see them!! read more

Dr. Steel has the best posture of anyone I know. It's like eating at a fat chef's restaurant. Why would you go to anyone who slouches? Dr. Steel is a professional who isn't looking to treat you for the rest of your life like some other chiropractors. He wants to get you in the best health you can be in. It all starts with your frame and that's where Steel Chiropractic excels. I regularly refer anyone I know to Steel Chiropractic. read more

Dr. Steel is a ball of energy! This practitioner does not only have a great sense of humor but also well trained in his technique. Its one thing to know when to adjust someone, it another to understand why. If you want to really get your health in order check this doctor out! read more

I got injured when I was snowboarding and was having severe back pain for about a month. A friend recommended to see Dr. Steel. I was impressed by her knowledge and professionalism. After an extensive (and impressive) initial exam Dr Steel adjusted my back three times a week. After two weeks my pain was gone !! I was so scared to get my neck adjusted, so Dr Steel figured out a way to adjust me and make me feel better without manual neck adjustment. Now I go to get adjusted about once a month. It is like visiting family, not doctor's office. Everybody there is so friendly, nice and efficient. If you are looking for a great chiropractor, do not look anywhere else and do not get put off by Dr. Steel's young age. She knows what she is doing. read more

I've been putting off going to a chiropractor for a few years, as I know its hard to find a good one. After doing a little research, and talking to Dr. Steele about his particular methods, I decided to go in for my initial examination. I couldn't believe how thorough Dr. Steele was in his exam. At the end he told me he would be reviewing the information he'd gathered about me with his wife, (who is also a doctor in the office) and we'd start on Monday. Every appointment so far has been tailored specifically for what I need, and even after the very first appointment I felt like I could take a deeper breathe, and slept very well for the first time in a long time. I always look forward to going in, and my boyfriend is going in for his initial exam this week! read more

Wow! The whole team deserves an A+ from Nasim to the doctors! I have been working with Jeremy since February. Always a skeptic of chiropractics in general, I have been blown away by Jeremy's professionalism, passion, knowledge and skills. I first met him when he gave an exceptional presentation that won me over. In addition, I have gotten to know Jackie and Jerry as well as the whole group is closely intertwined and supportive of each other and the patients. My experience and total trust in Jeremy led me to inquire about dog chiropractics when my maltese lost the use of her leg and tail to an embolism. Jeremy explained that Jerry had worked and saved many injured dogs in the past and brought him into the room to talk to me. I am delighted to say that Bella walked into the office a very sad dog on three legs dragging the fourth and left on four legs. As soon as Jerry adjusted her, not only did she start walking on all four legs, but she was the bouncy little girl she had always been and jumped up on her back legs to work everyone in the office. We went back again today and Jackie adjusted her with the same TLC. Bella loved her! Thank you Jeremy and Jerry for teaching me about how and why chiropractic medicine works, but also for healing my baby! I have become a true believer! read more

Jeremy and Jackie are great people! Both doctors are very diligent when it comes to continuing their chiropractic education, and it shows in the service they provide. During the time that I've known them, I've come to realize how much pride they take in giving their customers the care that they, themselves, would hope to receive if they were lying there on the table. For anyone looking for high quality care, I highly recommend checking out Steel Chiropractic. :) read more

Absolutely fantastic care! The entire team at Steel Chiropractic is top notch. As a healthcare provider I know good care when I see it - this is a highly recommended practice. I've been dealing with neck and upper back pain due to prolong computer use over the decades. (I have the posture of a Neanderthal). I felt so much better after Dr. Steel's adjustment - literally felt this huge weight off my back, breathing was eased, everything! Cant recommend this place enough. 5 stars! read more

Dr. Steel is very knowledgeable in his field .He will not hurt you. His prices are very reasonable. A very clean and comfortable environment. And he is also very honest ,he will not treat you if you don't need treatment read more

I had atrocious service here. I was absolutely disgusted with the demeanor and integrity of the couple operating this office. First of all, the service was so far below par it was laughable. They do not know what they are doing, and are not even real doctors. Do yourself a favor, get medical insurance, and go to a real, licensed and trained Doctor. Because this was a joke and they made me feel uncomfortable. And the woman reeked of alcohol. Incredibly unprofessional. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Steel for several years now. Initially it was for low back pain and then general health. However, several weeks ago I took a bad fall down the stairs and twisted my neck. Dr. Steel came in early the following day to treat me and take x-rays to make sure there was nothing critically wrong - thank goodness, not! He is very gentle and always takes time to explain why things are the way they are and why he is treating me the way he is. I highly recommend Steel Chiropractic to anyway with any body issues! read more

I've been dealing with chronic back issues for too many years (close to 20), and I've seen probably (conservatively) six chiropractors in that time. Dr. Jeremy Steel is by far the best! I came to him thanks to the recommendation of a friend. This treatment has been superior. Because of my issues, it's going to take a while to get me healthier, but just in the last 3 months (close to a dozen visits), I'm making progress and in much better shape than before. Dr. Steel is very friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable and perceptive. From my first visit, when I was in excruciating pain, he started to drill down to the core issues in no way that I've seen a doctor do before. He's amazing! And to top it off, each staff person (gotta include Jackie Steel too - she's so great!) is wonderful. They run a very tight ship. I rarely if ever have to wait (usually I am the one who's a few minutes late!), and their office is very nice. I recommend Behymer & Steel to anyone who's looking for a chiropractor. read more

Dr. Steele is a conscientious and enthusiatic practitioner! I find he tests (and re-tests!) thoroughly before initiating treatment and always tries to communicate clearly about what it is he's doing. He seems to really have the best interests of his patients at heart and is not trying to up-sell them on work they may not need. read more

I went to Steel Chiropractic today with pain in my low back and with a rib hurting me in my upper back. My current chiropractor is on vacation and my husband referred me to Dr. Steel from his business group. I had such high hopes for this visit! I was expecting such relief! He explained to me that the x-rays and tests would cost $250.00, and the adjustment would be $60.00. I was in such pain that I kept thinking that it would be worth it if it would all take away the pain. I have never had x-rays done before either so I thought it would be really helpful. It ended up that my entire visit, 95% of it done in lots of pain, took 2 hours. The x-rays, the exams...all took a painfully long time. Then the explanation of the x-rays took about 5 minutes! I thought I would have something to take with me. I didn't even get a copy of the x-rays for $250.00. What? Nothing but the sales tactic of making me feel like crap so that he could tell me he could make me better. There was a lot of "look at all of these things that are wrong with you...oh, this is awful...but we can fix all of that with low monthly installments of $60.00 twice a week for 3 months". Again, What? Then once we finally got to the adjustment he was very rough, poked at my lower back while I screamed. I asked him to not do the abrupt adjustments that chiropractors do, but to use the hand held adjuster. He asked if he could just stretch the area and then jolted my back and caused my entire back to seize up. PAIN. When I got up I still felt the rib poking into my back and asked him if he could evaluate and adjust it. He said no!, Said it was just inflammation and there was nothing he could do. NOTHING. I was shocked. I've had my own chiropractor adjust this in the last 2 weeks and every time he is able to get the rib to go back. When I stumbled out of his office I was out a bunch of money, and was in MORE pain than when I went in. Don't get me wrong, he and the other doctor are very nice and explain everything very well. The actuality of the treatment is another thing all together. I am so very disappointed in the care that I received. I wouldn't even call it care, more like not care. I now have to try to find ANOTHER chiropractor to go to tomorrow to fix everything. I really miss my chiropractor. I can't wait until he comes back. read more

I had never tried chiropractic treatment before visiting Healthwise Chiropractic. Dr. Steel helped my wife tremendously with some long-term injuries from gymnastics and a bad car accident. After seeing her positive results, I went in for a consultation. Dr. Steel was very knowledgeable, but didn't overwhelm me with intimidating medical jargon. He assessed my concerns about problems with pain and fatigue both genuinely and effectively. He made me feel very comfortable and confident with the idea of setting up a treatment plan. I started experiencing the positive effects of treatment almost immediately. My problems with sciatica, lower back pain, even sleep issues, were all remedied in a short time. This is, by far, the best thing I've eve done to improve my health and energy level. Added to this, Healthwise was extremely flexible with my constantly changing schedule. Times that I couldn't make it in to see Dr. Steel, Dr. Jackie Behymer handled my treatment and was equally knowledgeable, personable and thorough. I have recommended Healthwise to everyone I know who could benefit from this kind of healing treatment. Thanks for everything! read more
