I can't rave enough about this place. I recently took a DIY board making class with a group of ladies where we all individually were guided step by step into creating our very own boards of our choice. I selected the personalized welcome sign to place near my front door and I couldn't be more excited to place outside my front door. The owners at Board and Brush really care about their guest and truly want everyone to have a great time. The facility is well spaced out with numerous supplies. There's a TV, music, even a bar. They also offer small and private classes as well as classes for kids. This place is definitely one to check out. I'll definitely be back to create more items. Check them out!
From scheduling an appointment, to the day of the event, working with the owner Briana Mason during our class was amazing. I found out about this place during a work event and it was fantastic. For people who think they are not into arts and crafts like me, when you come to this guided class where she walks you through it, you will totally change your mind! I reached out to the owner via email and she was able to answer all my questions and explain the pricing amazingly! I also let her know we needed accommodations for wheelchair accessible and it was perfectly done! The owner is very easily to work with and very professional. Once I paid the fee, she gave me an email to send to our party and a few days before she let me know who picked their project and who didn't so I could reach out and get them to pick their projects for the day event. I was impressed with the price being super reasonable and the amount of projects people could pick to do! The day of the event was very good. We were able to come a little earlier and start the check-in process. She was super friendly and spent a lot of time for people who needed extra help and had questions. Her patience during these projects was great, especially for those family members who were timid on doing art projects. As I stated above, these are completely guided and she makes sure she explains everything and helps A LOT! I would recommend to come back here, as this was my second time around and my family members made it clear we're going to do our family bonding events again here. It was a fun experience, the team was knowledgeable on woodwork and helped during the creations. They had drink available for purchase and a lot of room to work with. I know I made great memories with a very special someone. I hope those memories make him smile .
Love board and brush! This place is so fun! My company and I did a team bonding experience here and they took care of everything and made it so fun. Briana is an expert and she gives clear instructions on what to do. We had a blast and will be doing it again.
I've been here twice with 2 different groups of friends and Briana & Steven have been amazing! Nothing but good vibes, great music and fun!! There's drinks for sale: Good IPA Mix and sparkling ciders. We were able to bring small snacks. They were very helpful and accommodating. There's so many projects, stains & colors to choose from. I'd definitely do this again. I love my finished projects!! Thanks for bringing this lovely spot to our community.
Attended a class for the first time this weekend. Briana and Steven were perfect hosts! Loved my Tic Tac Toe board. The process was so much fun and creative. I will be back again... and again... and again !!
My friend and I took our 6 year old daughters here for one of their Parent/Child classes and they absolutely enjoyed it! Their favorite part was probably distressing their pieces! Honestly, I was a little nervous about my daughter using the tools and painting since she's a bit clumsy but she did a fantastic job! This location offers snacks and beverages (a soda for the kids and a white claw for Mama) and that was a huge plus since the kiddos got hungry. The owner Briana and her partner Steven are a joy to be around and they made it a super fun experience for our kids. We will definitely be back again for another Parent/Teacher event! Thank you for making it such a memorable first time experience for us! Side note: Their music choice was A1!
Had our first (and definitely not our last) class yesterday. Steven and Briana were amazing hosts! We loved the music and options for drinks and snacks. All the directions were easy to follow along and they were so helpful with any questions or any assistance we needed. Shout out to Brianna for making our first experience at this location amazing! My son and I enjoyed our family friendly workshop and can't wait to come back and make another project. There are lots of options to choose from and plenty of ways to make it your own. She was super patient, helpful, and attentive while offering great suggestions along the way. ABSOLUTELY LOVED my experience! First time trying a board and brush and came for a bachelorette party. It was sooooo fun!!! I love that Briana was obviously so passionate about her business. Made it a more exciting and fun time for us all. You get to pick everything out from the project, to the stain, to the colors and do it all yourself. I learned a lot through the experience and was so excited to do it all myself. The studio is cute, clean and organized. I loved the fully stocked bathroom. There were all kinds of things available for use which was super considerate! I think it's nerve wracking going out of your comfort zone and making a project that you have never done before, and myself and my friends were constantly like "omg so scared omg is this gonna come out ok omg am I doing this right" and the entire time Briana was totally hyping us up and getting our confidence up. All of our projects came out totally fabulous! read more

Came here on a mother daughter date and it was so much fun! A great class with great instructors and great people! Can't wait to do one as a date night! It's not your average arts and crafts, you really see the raw beginning and customize it the whole way through ( and I mean the WHOLE way) from backyard activities to home decor and even planter boxes! You even get some anger out in the process while distressing. I will be back you guys were amazing! Did I mentions there's activity's for kids to? read more
