A little late getting this review done but it is the holidays! We went to Bella Terra for a holiday team event with about 30 of us. We each selected an item to paint for $20 or less. There were so many options to choose from! The place is super cute inside. Plenty of seating for big groups and so many options and supplies. It was such a great experience all around. From selection of our item to paint, all the helpful hints and great selection of colors, stencils and ideas. I will definitely be back! Bella Terra has always been on my list of things with my kids over the summer. I had absolutely no idea on how to proceed with bringing my 6 year old for a mommy daughter date. I called the number and asked if they had any availability for the two of us and the lady on the line was very helpful on getting our reservation. Upon arrival we were directed to wash our hands with soap and water, then we could proceed to choose our item that we wanted to paint. We'd let the lady know what we were interested in painting and they'd rinse the item with water. They showed us all the colors of paint and instructed us on how many coats of paint we'd need to brighten the color. After we completed, we gave wrote down our number and less than a week later. They came out wonderful! The cost was more than understandable for the items to paint, colors, and quality of service. We had an amazing time and will for sure be back again! read more

My son wanted to paint so I called and asked if they had room since I know places sometimes have events on Saturday. She said yes and would set up a table for us. She was very excited welcoming when we came in and gave us helpful instructions. They changed the water several times and have a fan to dry your art faster. We came here for a Girl Scout event. I'm so glad it was wheelchair accessible. Parking might be hard to find. The owner I believe because I asked about the jelly bean art she said she made it. She is vey sweet and a hard worker. Her assistant on the other hand was very useless. Was always on her phone sitting and didn't seem to want to do anything or when the owner would ask her to do stuff she would seem to have an attitude and did the job poorly. I felt so uncomfortable watching the owner do everything and engage with her customers while the lazy assistant did pretty much nothing. She left when it was close to closing time I believe and when she said bye to the owner I think they hugged so they probably know each other out side of work not my business but I hope this owner finds better help and person just like herself. The owner showed the girls what the paint would look like if you only paint this much and looked at everyone's work to say it might need another layer, she took the art work to dry up so you can paint more then she even showed the girls where and how the cooking process is for the art work to finish. All while everyone is working on their art she is cleaning around the shop and always keeping busy!! I was going to give 4 stars because of that one assistant but I gave 5 because the owner was just perfect. I know I've already said this but I hope she can find better help but really though she did great on her own. When bigger parties come I hope she has a better assistant. read more

The owner and workers are really sweet. It's always a great time to just paint, relax and listen to the music that's playing. I enjoy coming with friends and family to just have an activity to do. There is always a decent variety of different items (figurines, cups, plates etc). Each piece is its own price and then there is a studio fee which isn't much at all. 100% worth it in my opinion. read more

I was visiting family and was looking for something that everyone of all ages could participate in AND enjoy. Yep, that's a tall order to fill but Bella Terra pulled it off! My Dad and brother were blessed with good painting genes and kept us all entertained with their creations. My Mom painted a gorgeous mug that she kept downplaying - until she picked up the finished product and realized what a beauty she'd created. My nephews made their own Christmas ornaments! And I painted an adorable toy soldier. But what was truly special about our time at Bella Terra was that wonderful holiday memories were made and we all bonded over paint. We strolled through downtown Vacaville, which was picturesque and quaint. And although Bella Terra was bustling, we had a table to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I had an appointment scheduled at 2pm today (8/14/21) but to my surprise, it's closed due to Covid. I had four kids that were so disappointed. This was supposed to be a get together with out of town cousins hoping to spend quality time together. You can't fathom how frustrating it is to explain to the kids why Bella Terra was closed and I was unaware of the cancellation. I made the appointment on Tuesday (8/10/21) for a table but when I asked if you needed my phone number, you said there's no need, just my name is fine. Bella Terra is such an amazing gem in Vacaville!! The owner, Stephanie, was a pleasure to work with. We had our daughter's 10th birthday party here & she made the process so easy. We chose a date & time and a few days prior to the event you confirm how many kids are attending. When we arrived the day of the party, the table was set up for the girls to paint. There's plenty of space off to the side of the wall to place your food items. The space itself was so intriguing & colorful you don't even need your own decorations. Everything inside is beautifully handmade. Threre is a jelly bean artwork that Stephanie herself did by hand. We had a total of six girls who painted an animal of their choice. Stephanie was very helpful, patient & warm. Two hours of party time was exactly what we were looking for-paint, pizza, cake & gifts. Our girls had a wonderful time!! Have t been year since 2005ish when I was in grade school. I have been wanting to bring my daughter here and I'm so grateful that I was able to on a rainy Saturday. Selection was limited but they were waiting to restock. My 5 year old got to paint the last Batman figurine available and a small Christmas ornament. I did a larger ornament. The variety of supplies they usually have are great and they allow you to take the time you want to be as creative as you desire. They even had a couch and some toys for kids that get bored while the parents finish up their project and it was great that they even had crayons so children can color or draw on the butcher paper provided for each table. Only thing I recommend is being able to plan out the expletive and make a reservation but otherwise I'm very happy this establishment is still around and I look forward to coming back read more

This is an amazing local business to support! They cater to kids as well as adults who want to tap into their creative side. My first time here was during Friday adult paint night. They had tables set up separate for each party and had my name written on my table which was pretty cool. There was wine and water but when I called to make reservations the lady advised me to bring any snacks, food or drinks that we wanted. The pace of the instructions was just right and they don't mind if you want to paint something different from the group. They checked on each individual several times to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The class lasted about 3 hours. The atmosphere was very comfortable and encouraging. This place is awesome for kids and paint hobbyist. They have really good deals if you go on their website: Thursdays are 2-1 studio fee after 5pm, and I think Tuesday kids paint free if their parents paints too. The service is really nice, the girls who works there are super chill and there's that feeling of being at home/you can do whatever you want! I've never been forced to leave and never had a bad service experience. You can also paint as many times as you'd like ~ so you can start one day and take six months to paint it and they wouldn't care. Old ladies come here as regulars and brings cookies for the store to eat (not sure how often that happens but it happened to be twice so far :P). read more

I've grown up coming here, and I recently brought my 2 year old in for the first time. It was just as much fun as I remember it as a kid. The owner is amazing. She is so kind and fun to talk to.
