I feel lucky I aged out and can't return because I don't think I could manage being in another show. Another note. They recently lowered the age to enter the teen show and expected the tweens to act with the maturity and awareness of high schoolers. A standard while not impossible is difficult to meet.

ZERO STAR STORY -…read more I'm writing this review specifically to warn parents of young children who are considering Kiddie Academy for transportation to and from school. My 4-year-old daughter attended Kiddie Academy for only ONE WEEK, and that one week was enough for me to pull her out. Kiddie Academy was responsible for transporting her to her TK class in the morning and picking her up afterward. I never had concerns with afternoon pickup, but the morning transportation was a completely different story. On her very first day, there was confusion about which school she attended, despite all of her paperwork clearly stating the correct school. Throughout that week, she was also arriving at school 10-15 minutes late. The final straw was when Ms. Mel casually informed me, "We got in trouble this morning because they found your daughter wandering the school campus by herself before she made it to class." When I questioned how that could happen, the explanation I was given was, "We told her to get in line." Ms. Mel also explained that their bus drivers are unable to get off the bus to help young children get to their classes. She is FOUR YEARS OLD. If your transportation policy does not allow your driver to get off the bus, then there should be another procedure in place to ensure a four-year-old is safely transferred into the supervision of school staff. Telling a four-year-old to "get in line" and driving away without confirming that she safely made it where she needed to go was completely unacceptable to me. I pulled her out immediately because I no longer trusted Kiddie Academy to transport her safely. When I raised my concerns with Ms. Nickole, I was also extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled and felt the response and apology were unprofessional and dismissive given the seriousness of what happened. I'm sharing this because other parents deserve to know about my experience before trusting this facility with transportation. My daughter was there for only one week, and that was one week too long. I would never recommend Kiddie Academy to anyone I love or care about, especially if you are relying on them to safely transport a young child. Response to owner: I want to clarify that the complaint being closed as "unsubstantiated" does not change what occurred. That is exactly why I question whether the lack of documentation is designed to protect the children or protect the business. A four-year-old being found wandering a school campus unattended after transportation should have warranted formal documentation and immediate notification to the parent--not a casual comment later. Your response also suggests that young children benefit from "fewer transitions." Kiddie Academy offers transportation to young children. If your transportation procedures cannot safely accommodate a four-year-old, then that service should not be offered to children that age. Responsibility should not be shifted onto parents for utilizing a service your business provides. A licensing investigation resulting in no citation does not erase what happened or what was communicated to me by Kiddie Academy staff. Parents can read both sides and decide for themselves whether this is the level of supervision and accountability they are comfortable with for their child.

She was amazing at pinpointing errors and helping us adjust arm movements to make the dance flow better. She taught us how to lead and follow, spin, turns, box step, and even a lift! I told her I was given a member code to give to them. While I searched my phone for the code she exasperatedly asked for my name. It was at that time she put down the towels she was folding. She looked on her computer, and said, she found it. I signed the waiver, asked my questions - including how much private lessons cost? She replied, "oh they cost a lot of money." She never told me how much. I left. I felt so unwelcome. I wondered if she just didn't want to do her job or didn't want me there. Her sheer lack of effort, condescending, and lackadaisical attitude made me wonder should I cut my losses and find another gym? STARS 2000 continues as their own company. My kid has made pancakes (didn't pour them or cook them), no-bake cookie bites and "moose crunch". The pancakes he came back with were two cookie cutter size pancakes. There was 4 small No-Bake cookie bites. The moose crunch was literally Cheerios and a little bit of marshmallows and m&m candies in a snack size bag. There was no cooking whatsoever, he's done nothing but assemble ingredients and wash dishes. So he's come back home with $0.60 worth of ingredients. A $177 class! There is ZERO communication from this person. I got ONE email from her the entire time we were registered and it states they're going to charge parents for being late and will charge parents for takeaway boxes. This lady is LATE EVERY CLASS and she always ends the class early! Today was the ONE class my kids were to attend because SHE cancelled 2 of the 3 classes for the month so we got there at 10:00, as it says in the ONE email I got, and the lady at reception told me the class was moved to 9:30! This lady didn't bother emailing or calling or texting that there was a time change! I paid $352 for my two kids to NOT ATTEND EVEN ONE CLASS, and you better believe she doesn't bother reimbursing! I really wanted to love this program, my son absolutely loves cooking but WOW, I have never encountered such an unprofessional business ever. Don't waste your money, don't waste your time, you will be disappointed and what's worse, your kids will be disappointed.
