So we purchased 5 lessons with Ava and we are sure glad that we did! During the first lesson, Ava helped us pick out our wedding dance song -- she listened to a few of the songs and was quickly able to tell us which one would be best and most fun to dance to. We ended up doing a swing step! She is an excellent teacher. She crafted our wedding dance out of thin air and adjusted the dance moves to our skill level. She was amazing at pinpointing errors and helping us adjust arm movements to make the dance flow better. She taught us how to lead and follow, spin, turns, box step, and even a lift! Our guests were floored during our dance routine! Even a month after our wedding, my husband and I will break out into dance with the moves that we learned from Ava! It was one of the best investments we made!

During the Covid Pandemic, I was scrolling through Facebook one late evening (early morning). I saw a person on what I now know to be the 'reformer.' At the time, I was curious what they were doing - it looked interesting. Happy to say, my life is better for participating in Pilates. It offers a holistic approach to overall well being for body, mind and soul. When you find something you love to do, it makes all the difference. As one of the instructors often reminds us, "movement is medicine, and today's Pilates class is an investment in our future self."

My daughter has been with SingOut Theater throughout this entire year. She auditioned in to the…read morekids competition and performed 'Junglebook' with her team in Sacramento. An intense, exciting time! They won an award for choreography at JTF West! She also did Triple Threat and High school Musical this summer. So to say the least, We Are FANs! We feel so lucky to have Chelsea teaching our daughter! A lovely personality and mentor, a highly skilled dancer and choreographer, a patient and kind Director. The Music Director Kevin warmly and patiently builds the student's musical understanding and performances. His contribution keeps musical standards high and performances enjoyable. The Business Director/Producer Rachel adds the no nonsense behind the scenes taking care of business ballast for all this creativity. We are grateful for her expertise to keep SingOut thriving. My daughter is attending a performing arts school in the fall. We will still be attending Tue/Thurs Musical Theater at SingOut. It is top notch and she loves it!

Originally named DLOC in 1959 when they formed a company performing Gilbert & Sullivan Light Operas. Eventually they changed the name to Diablo Theater Co. They had a youth program called STARS 2000, which continues to this day to operate. Diablo Theater Co. that use to produce large scale Musicals & Light Opera productions at the Lesher Center For The Arts in Walnut Creek, is no longer in business. STARS 2000 continues as their own company. There is no other youth program that is under the auspices of the Diablo Theater Co. and in fact their studios were sold and are under the ownership of Performing Arts Academy.

He arrived on time, setup quickly, and did a fantastic job. We worked together closely to figure out the appropriate set list given the sensitivity of the event. Daniel was flexible, and I asked him to play original songs he was familiar with and to read the room if we needed to adjust. We even ended up doing an impromptu song and guitar performance from some of my guests! . I would hire Daniel and his team again in a heartbeat!
