I enrolled my Daughter on December 27th 2021 and Withdrew by January 5th 2022. Center Director and Business Manager take zero accountability for their lack of communication and breach of contract. What they offer in the Family Handbook is not the service they actually provide. The contract they give you is not accurate but they don't notify you of that they expect you to guess. Center Director Sabrina Oldani became disengaged and ignored me and my child after I complained about their lack of communication and breech of contract. She was not welcoming. Did not welcome my child nor introduce herself to my child. I'm really not sure what her job is or why she sits in a reception area and then doesn't receive the children with any positive energy. Just, yuck energy and unprofessional. Business Manager Jenny is deceptive and will talk in circles to avoid any accountability for the behavior of her staff or the lack of communication or follow through on the promises made in the Family Handbook meant to give Families a Top Tier experience which you absolutely pay for by the way. I found her to be condescending and dismissive of my experience. She makes excuses and passes blame onto the parent for not knowing their policies...when they don't seem to know them either. Ultimately, while the curriculum seems pretty cool, they are under staffed. They do not communicate (see previous 5 star review from another yelper that addresses the lack of communication as well so it's not just a ME problem as Jenny tried to indicate when I spoke with her). They do not take COVID seriously and just had an outbreak where my Daughter was exposed and has to quarantine now. They do not have children wash their hands when they get dropped off nor have them wear masks and even after the outbreak I witnessed Sabrina with her mask down and not socially distancing. They allow parents all throughout the facility. On at least 3 occasions when I popped in unannounced to drop off paperwork I could hear the infant room and the babies were crying as though they were distressed and they were crying for a long time. On one occasion I heard a Teacher yell at an infant to "Knock it off, just because you can't get what you want!" While the baby cried. After 2 weeks of attending this school....my Daughter still didn't know the names of any of the adults watching her everyday except for her main Teacher who was only there the first week. My daughter is exceptionally smart and a big communicator so her not knowing the names of the people watching her told me that they were not forming relationships with her at all and/or had a revolving door of people in her classroom. Which is also probably why she came in contact with COVID. **They charge an extra $55 if you drop off your kids between 630a - 8am. and a $35 fee if they stay till 6:30p. *$1385 a month was what I was paying ***Check Glass Door and read the reviews from employees of The Learning Experience as a whole. What you will see are consistent complaints of being understaffed, disorganized, high turn over, lack of care from Management ect. from all over the country which shows you they have a flawed business model as a whole (I wish I would have checked this before deciding on this place) My final takeaway is that the Management staff just wants to get as many people enrolled as possible. The teachers I met all seemed to be cool and the only staff members I found to be distasteful for me personally were Sabrina and Jenny. But anyway be aware and good luck. Maybe you'll have a better experience than I did but it was too many red flags on the play for me. read more

My daughter has been at The Learning Experience (TLE) for almost 11 months and I am so thankful I chose TLE! I highly recommend sending your kids here. They are safe, responsible and really love what they do. I started her when she was 5 months old and had to go back to work. As any parent would be, I was nervous. But the staff at TLE made me feel so comfortable and secure when I first visited and have never let me down since. They always provide detailed updates and photos through their app. I love seeing my daughter participate in reading circles, art and science projects, music time (she loves to dance) and general fun with her classmates. Plus, she loves the food. While my daughter has only been in two classrooms (infant and toddler), I've had the opportunity to meet several teachers. They are all dedicated and happy to help and answer any and all questions (and I have a lot). The front staff, Miss Biane and Miss Jade, are also wonderful. They keep us up to date on everything going on with the school and are great at posting notices and protecting students from the various illnesses that our kids pass around. I couldn't have picked a better place for my daughter and she'll be at TLE until she's off to kindergarten. read more

The learning experience has been great for both of my kids. It is clean, friendly and they have so many things to offer. They have a great "curriculum" that they use, snacks and meal are provided, and lots of activities. My toddler comes home happy and wakes up excited to go to "school". The teachers/ staff have all been great. They involve parents by inviting them to class holiday parties, donuts with dad/ mom and give ample time to let you know about it if you would like to take off work. The staff are also usually pretty good at updating the app to communicate meals, diaper changes, naptimes and pictures of my kids throughout the day. They are military friendly. Good hours with extended hour options. They are good at letting you know if your child has been exposed to any various illness and do a good job at protecting the facility. This was my son's first daycare experience, and I will regret sending him there everyday for the rest of my life. Jen (the director) talks with a fake tone to make it seem like she cares, but she really is only ever concerned about payments. My son got sent home for a "fever" that he didn't even have when I got there 15 minutes later. My son got sent home for "diarrhea" that did not ever show back up when he wasn't in their care, so that's questionable as well. My son came home with the wrong diaper (a brand that doesn't react well on his skin), and nobody even apologized for it when I mentioned it. They will never worry about a nose, no matter how much crust is preventing your baby from breathing. However, they will harass you about payments, but never put that energy into the children. My daughter is 2 years old and came to TLE after another local child care center mistreated her. I completely enjoy this school and love how the staff cares for my daughter. My daughter loves the staff and her class mates m. Ms.Vanessa and Ms. Alyssa are very great with the kids. Ms.Biane and Ms.Jade are wonderful as well. My wife and I are first time parents and we were very anxious to enroll our infant son in daycare during the middle of the pandemic. Enrolling him at the Learning Experience was one of the best decisions we could have made. From day one, they have been so welcoming and put us at ease. The teachers and owners are friendly, knowledgeable and care deeply about the children enrolled in their program. In the infant room, they do daily activities to help with their development, from music time to arts and crafts and socialization. They talk to us about our son's development and give us suggestions about ways we can continue to help him learn and grow at home too. Even though our son can't talk yet, his big smile when we drop him off each day, and the pictures of him learning and socializing with his friends and teachers during the day let's us know how he feels about the Learning Experience...He loves it! NOT A LEARNING EXPERIENCE! My daughter went here for about 6mnths, mom was the normal pick up person. When jenny first saw me she acted as if I was a criminal. She cracked the door and asked why was I there, after telling her I was there to pick up my daughter she then closed the door without any recognition and asked bonnie (the directer at the time) who my child was instead of asking me. I was really taking back after that being my first interaction with anyone in tle I really do believe they are not inclusive to all. They use to send my child home everyday looking a mess! Why are you sending pictures of my child looking like this? Do they care? My child didnt learn a thing within 6mnths. Here is 1 picture out of many, is this acceptable? From the snotty face down to the knees. Mom repeatedly asked jenny the owner about wiping our 2yo nose and jenny ignored our request apparently and when asked could she wipe her a little more frequent jenny says "oh its hard with all the other kids" We have since pulled her our and the choice is yours! read more

My wife and I have our 4 year-old daughter enrolled at this facility since March 2021 and she absolutely loves this place. Within the first couple of weeks we noticed the difference TLE was making on her, not just in school etiquette, but also personal. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, issues did come up, but were resolved very professionally and in a timely manner. It is true that the employee turn-over is very high, and our daughter has had different teachers in less than one year, also the front desk personnel has changed a lot since we started. But we believe this does not really affect the learning capability of our daughter nor changes the way the curriculum is implemented. In fact, we think it is a great opportunity for little ones to get introduced to the real-world. In school, kids get substitute teachers all of the time, so change is just another piece to the puzzle. We also love the diversity and how inclusive the TLE teachers and stuff are. I searched for a daycare for a while and was never really excited about leaving him with someone else until now! His verbal communication has improved and they keep him engaged all day long. It's nerve racking sending your baby to daycare. I toured 3 daycares around the area before ultimately deciding to go with TLE. I toured Kindercare Fairfield and Childtime. I noticed that the front desk staff like to gossip/chatter a lot about the parents IN FRONT of other people which I think is unprofessional. I had to withdraw my son after less than a month. One thing you should expect is the kids in daycares get sick A LOT. In that month alone, my son was admitted in the hospital for 5 days because it was peak cold season. His conditioned worsened due to a newly diagnosed asthma. You can't really fully prevent then being sick & they're building immunity but I decided to withdraw him still. He didn't like it one bit, he'd always look so sad whenever they send photos of him & he was going through separation anxiety; but I can tell his teachers cared for him. Biane, the assistant director was also a breath of fresh air whenever she meets the kids. I loved her energy. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Lets start with my daughter started going to this school in May 2021 they opened in January 2021. The owners Yushi & Jenn were very involved when they first open they're kids were even enrolled. While they were working inside trying to get staffing everything was great even though with jenn there was always a disconnect somewhere, like she wasn't very informative with me asking questions about my daughters day but my daughter spoke very well so she would tell me everything. Fast forward to them getting staffing a new center directer (sabrina) and assistant director (grace) they now have teachers and now they are splitting the kids into the classes that they should be in around july My 2 yo has now regressed because she was in a class with kids who weren't her age. She now doesn't know her ABC's when she started she knew them she could even identify them before starting there She knew how to ask for the potty but after starting there it wasn't enforced because she was in a class with kids younger than her Now they've gotten more teachers here it is October and they're switching her into the preppers class (Ms. Jennifer) Now all of a sudden my daughter is getting incident reports daily for things that 2-3yos do especially when theres no consistency She's kicking, she's not listening and things like that she's not doing these things to other students she's doing these things to her teacher (Ms. Jennifer) Instead of management taking the time to figure out what's going on in the classroom they kick my 3yo out They didn't try anything first of all she's potty trained so technically she wasn't supposed to be in the preppers class anyway they could've started there by switching her class & teacher Further more the class she was supposed to be in those teachers say they have no problems out of her when she's in their classroom My daughter has been there since may and with all the inconsistency we stayed faithful to the learning experience where there was clearly no learning experience because my daughter didnt learn not 1 thing but how to regress instead of progress There was no warning, no meeting, no nothing when I finally was pulled into the office it was to let me know that she would be terminated if I didn't find and pay outta pocket for a behavioral assistant to come in the classroom and watch my child ( and I know they weren't gonna refund me money once the behavioral assistant came into the classroom and said nothing was wrong with my child but there was a disconnect within the classroom) My daughter was literally there 2-3 out of the week and they called me everyday just to say she was running down the hall can u come get her They only called because I use to drop everything and come but after me noticing a pattern of them just not wanting to deal with her and they still getting that $1510 a mnth I stopped coming for every phone call They get paid enough to figure it out or at least try they didn't even try That's not even the half of it though, My child is very verbal she told me the teacher pinched her sabrina basically said my child was lying but they knew before I knew because my daughter told them and they questioned my 3yo without letting me know until I brought it to their attention. My daughter also told me a teacher hit her and she fell on the floor nobody told me about that until I brought it to their attention. WHY THOOOO???? Why do I have to hear things from my 3yo before I hear it from the adult?? Everything my 3yo told me when it I brought it to the attention of the staff it was 100% true so why wasn't I informed before hand. My daughter doesn't eat meat or cheese but I pop up to the school snd she's eating cheese. She fell on the playground and bust her mouth who was watching her? So many questions I have but ill ask the judge maybe he can answer them because I even reached to hq karin the overseer of the center that was a waste she acted very concerned but she wasn't Because she didn't return my call until I called hq's to talk to someone over her but Im not calling them anymore im seeking legal action because this school is trash I would recommend finding a school with staff who at least have grade age children Its just a disconnect all in all its a new center, care to try different things with different kids all kids aren't the same. read more

I like this place a lot. I sent my little boy when he was 4 months old and by the time we need to leave because of moving, he has grown into a little man. With TLE's care team, He learned how to crawl at ~6month old and started to walk at 9 months and half old. The staff is all very nice and I can tell they are experienced at what they are doing. Being a new mom, I have to say I was a bit concerned at first to send my little one to someone else, but after sending him to this daycare for ~8 months, I have to say that I was so happy I did so because they are very professional and helpful. We absolutely LOVE The Learning Experience in Vacaville. We took my daughter out of child care/preschool during the pandemic and so she lost 1 1/2 years of socialization and education. And yet you would never know it now because of the hard work, dedication and love of the staff in Vacaville. My daughter came home after 3 weeks at this school rhyming! And for anyone not in the education field, that is an extremely difficult skill for little ones. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and every staff member there. She refuses to leave the building without giving every staff member a hug each day. They have engaging curriculum for the children, clean facilities and ample learning supplies for the children. My daughter has come home raving about planets, stars, air, insects, plants, everything! We love it here and are so sad to leave this year for Kindergarten. read more

Horrible place. My son is only 3yrs old and have never been to a daycare facility, kept him home witb me specially since COVID. Decided to give this place a try and it only lasted for almost 2 weeks. The staff is not friendly and the teachers turn over rate is very high so my son never could get a relationship with any teacher. They would call me at work every time he did something and even sent him home because he would take a nap. when I asked if he Had to be nap trained they lied and said no that wasn't the reason they sent him home when it was because I have the voicemail where there clearly saying come pick him up because he is not taking a nap. He would never come home with all his belongings. I never got a welcoming feeling there so was kinda on the edge when he first started. There all about money and that's it. I highly recommend to not send your child there. They already be fined from licensing already from leaving a little girl unattended in the restroom. read more
