I found him after interviewing about 9 firms, and then went with him after speaking with 5 of his references that he provided. He was very transparent when I first connected him and he would quickly answer questions about his management style, company and staffing profile. Perhaps the worst part about Edward is that its hard to find anything negative about him (LOL). He's just the most even keeled person I've ever dealt with... He deals with everything in a calm, paced manner. He's definitely not pushy, and treats everyone with respect, and has the gray matter to anticipate and work through problems before embers turn into flames (and we've had many embers thrown at us over the years, so he's battle tested at this stage in my eyes). One example: a few years back, the unit he was managing for us had a heating issue. The parts were on back order (early pandemic related shortage), and without asking, he went through multiple hoops to try to procure the parts needed, and then checked the weather report and because of an upcoming temperature drop he went ahead and provided backup heating device to the tenant to head-off a potential heating emergency before it happens. Lets roll the clock forward: While your mileage may vary, for me, I have had several documented occasions when I sent him an email near midnight and he responds within 3 or 4 minutes afterwards. I think one time I sent him an email way later than that which was meant for the next day, and he immediately responded. IIRC, I scolded him slightly for not prioritizing sleep over a low priority email from me LOL... but that's just how he's wired. His demeanor also extends to how he hires his staff. Again, the people he's brought on seem very even keeled and are active listeners. Also, it appears he's scaling his company in a methodical fashion. When I first spoke to him 5 years ago, I think he had about 200 properties they were managing. I know he's grown beyond this, but I haven't felt any difference in the orchestration of the work. This was a huge problem for me with a previous firm where as they grew, the wheels came off. Also, with his being a registered agent in Maryland, I'm already set on using him if we hit the market for anything. He's also served as an honest sounding board a few times we considered moving on something.

I was a tenant at 20244 Shipley Ter #201, Germantown MD. I moved out on May 31, 2016 and was…read morewaiting for my security deposit to be returned. I knew there were some minor things need to be fixed, so I was not expecting the whole deposit to be returned. I got a refund check from Wright management LLC , who they contracted with Ms. Honey Do LLC to do the repair, and it was way over-priced, and didn;t make any sense. And the price in paranthesis are what is being charged to me Here are what they charged (i wish i can upload the invoice, but it does not let me) 1. Replaced 4 burner plates ($40) 2. Placed round toilet seat 3. Fixed trim with white caulk in front of tub also ($30) 4. Replaced Hardwired combo and installed 2 new smoke detectors in 2 bedrooms 5. Cleaned dryer vent ($80) 6. Installed a new shower rod 7. Installed AV filters and Vent hood filter ($50) 8. Bathroom hook removed from door 9. Curtain rod tightened in dining room 10. Installed 2 GFCI in kitchen Drain clogged adn garbage disposal hung. ($200, i had same service done while i was tenant and it was only $130) MAterial $247.07 ($147.07) Labor 8 hours x $80/hour= $640 TOTAL $847.07 invoice and $547.07 is what i am responsible- ( i dont even understand how they came up with the labor for each service) Also,there was another invoice which the service was done on the same day as above invoice for $159.53 which the hour spent was 1.5 hours. (replacing door knob, recaulked 3/4 of the toilet ($30), check flapper chain, removed HVAC filter in lving room($30) Another $60 So they are saying, a person came out to do above work for 9.5 hours. . This is ridiculous. I believe they have teamed up with Ms Honey Do LLC and faked invoices. I will also be reporting to BBB as well.

We've been managed under this company for about 2 months now, and it's safe to say they're terrible…read moreto deal with. Already, we've had a major roof leak, which went unresolved for 15 days, resulting in damaged property. Our lease doesn't require renters insurance and claims that negligence on part of the owner/lanlord, the landlord or owner is responsible to pay for the damages. The landlord and owner of Wright has refused to admit their negligence and is of no help. Not only, the landlord, Terry, asked for a list of things to fix when they took over the property management. It took over 2 weeks to get these simple tasks (fixing hooks, getting news keys made, fixing a fence lock) done, and they're still not done with some of the other items. If you're a homeowner looking for a company to manage your property, this isn't the place. Their delayed response times are only causing more damage to the value of the house we're renting, and I'm abhorred at how in denial they are. It's safe to say, I'll avoid any other rental properties they manage moving forward.

I wish I could say the same about the community here. Unfortunately it's been a living hell to the point where I fear for my children's safety. I've had this man harass me non stop. He constantly says disrespectful things to me. I even bought ring cameras so it can record everything just in case anything happens to us. My lease isn't up for another few month and I can't even sleep in peace knowing my life and my kids life is in danger. I'm posting pictures so other people can be on the look out of this terrible man. I don't know what type of creep decides to pick on a woman who has done nothing or said anything to him. I've stayed quiet all these months because I'm afraid of confrontation especially now a days you can lose your life over something very petty. Tonight I had enough and I'm standing up for myself and my kids. You can clearly see how it brings him joy and happiness to harass and torment a single mother of 2 young babies. If anything happens to me or my kids after I post this review then we know who did it.

The leasing staff is so nice & very responsive( which was a big issue for me a my previous…read moreresidence). From what I've read in reviews and heard from neighbors the old leasing team was the complete opposite but the 2 women there now make me glad I moved! They listen and address any issues I bring them quickly as does the maintenance. Those guys work hard! The new maintenance supervisor is always very friendly when we cross paths. The community itself is very quiet for the most part my only complaint is there's usually not much parking after about 7
