You really feel the true race car experience and I think you need to wear workout clothes cause I felt the sweat from trying to concentrate and control the car. Even though I didn't use the full session (it's more physically demanding than expected - seriously, LOL), the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Shoutout to Jason on staff - super professional and welcoming. He guided me through check-in, helped set everything up, and even offered a bottle of water before giving me some helpful tips on handling the cars. Small touches like that really elevated the visit. Best Christmas gift ever!! Easy to get to. Close to both 110 and 405 freeways. Large parking lot. Entrance and greeting is fantastic. Meet your coach is where it begins. Fortunately I was paired with an absolutely amazing coach named Nate. Nate has an extremely friendly and welcoming demeanor, great at making you comfortable but while also pushing you and ensuring you gain new skills, increase confidence level, and overall have an amazing time. Highly recommend requesting Nate when booking your experience. I took out the 718 GT4 RS. Definitely recommend!! Super raw and visceral experience. The car sounds awesome. Mid engine is well balanced and tracks exceptionally well. Cannot recommend trying this highly enough. Can't wait to come back and try out a 911 GT3!!

It is definitely geared toward kids, but there is still something fun about getting behind the wheel and cruising around the track. Fast Pass is a must. Once you are in the car, it is simple just steer and hit the gas. The track keeps you on course, so it is stress free even if you are not the best driver. That said, the ride itself is pretty basic and has not changed much over the years. It is nostalgic, but compared to newer attractions, it can feel a little outdated. Still, if you are looking for a chill ride or visiting with kids, it is a solid choice. Overall, not a must do thrill ride, but a fun classic that is worth experiencing at least once.

As you grow older, you realize how clunky the cars drive and how unnecessary loud they are (though I believe they are planning a revamp of the vehicles which could undo this side). Also, the line for the ride is so often unbelievably long. When I'm not here with kids, this is a ride I always skip. But, with that said, when we are here with my kids or nieces & nephews, seeing the joy on their facing knowing that they are 'actually driving' their own cars reminds me of why a ride like this exists. For kids who have never experienced that sensation beyond a video game, it's unbelievable. So if you have kids, absolutely go on Autopia. However, if you have a drivers license of your own, it might be worth skipping.

The course ended up being about 2.5 miles. There was only ONE water station for the entire run, which is pretty unacceptable even for a fun run. Parking was another mess. They didn't mention any parking fees until two days before the event via text, and when we got there, it was just employees standing around with bags collecting $20 cash. No cards and no prior clear communication. It felt very unprofessional. Bib pickup was probably the worst part. The pickup itself was on Friday, but we were only told about the 4-8 PM window the Monday before, which is already short notice. When we got there, it took an hour and a half just to get to the front of the line, and that was with VIP. I've done much larger events before, and none of them were anywhere near this chaotic. The race start itself made no sense. Instead of organized waves, they just had everyone crowd at the gate and go at once. The course clearly wasn't designed to handle that many people. It was overcrowded, with lots of people walking, and we were constantly dodging others and even low hanging tree branches. I'm 5'9 and the person I ran with is 6'4, and it genuinely felt unsafe at times trying to avoid both people and obstacles. If you're actually trying to run, this is not the event for you. You won't be able to maintain any kind of pace. They also offered the option to create a team name online that would appear on your bib, but when I showed up, it was just a generic bib with a duck and a number. No customization and no tracking, which makes the bib feel pointless. Honestly, it's something that could have just been printed at home. Overall, this felt poorly planned and poorly executed. It might be fine if you're just going for a casual, messy experience, but if you expect even basic race organization, this will be disappointing.
