When you walk in, it's a little confusing at first since it's not super clear where to go and the place is pretty spacious. We initially went to the cashier, and they directed us to the computers on the side to sign the waivers first, then come back to pay. After we paid, they told us the wait would be about 30 minutes, but surprisingly they called our names within just 2 to 3 minutes while we were still walking around. That was a nice bonus. :) They provided headsocks for free, and we didn't have to pay extra or sign up for any annual membership. Each race is supposed to be 12 laps, but if someone finishes early, you might end up doing less. One of the boys completed 11 laps, but didn't affect the experience at all. As we were exiting, we saw a podium area so kids hopped on for a quick photo. I've been here before for birthday parties and even with coworkers, and every time has been consistently fun. The staff was friendly and everything ran smoothly. Not really sure why this place gets some negative reviews. I haven't experienced anything negative. Would definitely come back.

One tip: Avoid Harley-Davidson night as the crowds are much larger, the lines to get in and to get food much longer and the grandstands are almost at capacity. The free games were the blue tap games, so you don't earn tickets, but there were still a ton of fun options. We didn't even come close to using the full 3 hours because there was so much to do. My favorites were the basketball games and Connect 4 basketball. We played a few rounds of laser tag, which was super fun, but a lot of the equipment seemed broken that day. They also couldn't split us into teams, so everyone was playing individually instead. The go-karts were really fun for a group we got a whole round to just our coworkers. Some of the karts definitely felt faster than others, which made things interesting. We also did mini golf, and the course was much bigger than I expected. It took quite a while to get through all the holes. One thing to note is that the rides don't always have staff standing by them. If you want to ride something, you may have to find an employee and ask them to operate it. Overall, there was honestly more to do than we could fit into the 3 hours. We didn't even get to everything we wanted to try. Despite a few operational issues, we had a really fun time and felt like the event package offered a lot of value.

This was a good value compared to regular prices. Enjoyed the go carts twice; attendants were very patient with customers and trouble makers. Cart track is super fun, carts ran well, fun competition! Bumper boats were closed; perhaps weather isn't warm enough yet or demand was low. Two fountain sodas at the snack bar were $13. Pretty outrageous. Tried to use the batting cages. Our unlimited pass didn't seem to apply however, which was disappointing, as our key cards were unable to activate the cages in two different lanes. We moved on to mini golf. Well lit and good music is the best I can say. Overall I can tell the courses have been improving from a maintenance standpoint but the greens are TERRIBLE. If you have to putt over broken turf or your ball gets stuck in a pit of death that used to be part of the brick border, it disrupts the fun and becomes frustrating. Seriously, Boomers. Put some of that ridiculous soda pop revenue into fixing your miserable astroturf. There were tears and holes everywhere. The arcade gets periodically updated but we didn't use it this time due to time constraints. Always had fun on the multitude of games available. Same with laser tag, we just ran out of time. Was not crazy about the process for golf putters and bats for the batting cages. There only seemed to be one person in charge of handing these out from the desk and they were stuck handling a long ticket line so we pretty much helped ourselves by reaching over the counter and grabbing what we needed.

K1 is a great place to visit alone, with family, friends, celebrating an event, etc…read more.. It's spacious, clean, has things to do for adults and children, plus includes food and drink. The registration process is simple and the counter with computers is straight forward. The 11 laps don't go too quick so it offers a chance to learn the track and do your best. My adult daughters and I had a great time returning here after many years and would come back. It's a little pricey so it would be a bi-annual visit for me personally.

Expensive Parking Parking near the Acura Grand Prix is…read moreextremely expensive, with lots charging $60-$80 close to the entrance. We found a $12 lot about a 10 minute walk away, which was a great deal but surprisingly, navigation apps showed completely inaccurate walking times, so asking people nearby was much more reliable. Confusing Layout and Poor Directions Once inside, things quickly became frustrating. We entered through one side and were told the event had already ended, even though we had arrived two hours before the end time. Multiple employees kept redirecting us to different areas, and no one seemed to know where the racing was actually happening. Unhelpful and Rude Staff We asked around 15-20 staff members, including security and event workers, and most either didn't know or gave conflicting directions. One staff member was outright rude and dismissive, telling us it was too late and trying to sell us tickets for another day instead of helping us figure things out. Overcrowded and Disorganized The event felt extremely crowded and chaotic. There were large groups of people everywhere, a concert happening at the same time, and no clear guidance on where to go for specific activities. We spent nearly two hours just walking in circles trying to find the races. High Prices Everywhere Food and drinks inside were very expensive, which is expected at big events, but even vendors outside and nearby street food stands were charging unusually high prices. Atmosphere and Crowd The vibe was energetic and lively, with a mix of all ages, from babies to adults. It felt like a big, exciting event, but also very loud and overwhelming at times. Overall Experience Unfortunately, we never got to actually watch the races despite having tickets. Between the lack of clear directions, unhelpful staff, and overcrowding, the experience felt more frustrating than enjoyable.

A fun event for the whole family!…read more I really enjoyed walking around inside the convention center; there were lots of neat cars all around the entire floor, lots of awesome merch, and lots of sponsors and freebies. Lots of different styles of cars so it was definitely nostalgic, as well as getting to see newer cars to fawn over. The race itself was awesome to see, feeling the gentle breeze of the nearby ocean, and that fresh smell of rubber burning on the track, sitting on the stands eating popcorn was the best part of all. There was a DJ spinning some tunes so I got to do a little dancing. Love the Grand Prix vibes this year around.

This was by far the most fun I have had on a go kart! Armahni(?) the owner was a great host and…read moretour guide. I was in town for a football event that was happening on Sunday. Since I knew I would be there all weekend, I convinced two of my friends to join me in the go kart shenanigans. Armahni(?) and his girlfriend took us around the lake and alongside the canal for an hour or so ride. The best part was when we had the chance to "put the pedal to the medal" (as my grandmother would say lol) and race each other. To actually be able to ride the karts outdoors instead of indoors, and not be on a track made the experience even better. Good times! If you haven't done this yet, you're missing out! : )
