Have been doing business with Jeff Wilson there for many years. Would recommend the dealer.

I find the service department relies too much on technology to communicate. I receive 3 texts…read morestating first I need over $1000 in repairs. Next text there are supposedly another $3000 repairs. I called for explanation of 3 fuel charges that were the same price and no description. I never received an explanation from Gil or anyone else. I picked up there are 3 or 4 people, again they take my payment no explanation, In this situation, I would hope a Service Manager would explain the repairs and the options. I recently called to get my Tiguan appraised to see if the value justified the repairs or need investigate buying a new car. The Service Manager said I could make an appointment online or he would make the appointment. I ended the call. Do I want to work with a dealership that is clueless as McGrath? As a Sales Person, I would approach this entire Customer Experience differently. I am deciding if it is easier to go to another Volkswagen Dealer that respects me as a customer.

I had the opportunity to work with Ryan and George when unexpectedly having to purchase a new car…read more They both made this an easy process. There was a little hiccup although Ryan quickly resolved and even had a driver send a car from Marion to Dubuque for me! Ryan provided information and stayed true to his word - which is refreshing! The only real problem I had was Clay (finance) really pushed an extended warranty. My father and I had said no multiple times. He even brought in another person to try and sell the warranty. I understand trying to sell you something, although this was a little too pushy!! Even with that, I would definitely recommend anyone buying a car to see Ryan and George at McGrath! Overall, great experience!

He helped us find the perfect vehicle that was not only the style we were looking for, but had all of the features on our wish list and most importantly fit our budget. Everyone we worked with in addition to Kyle was so kind and helpful (Tyler, Michelle and Dave). They all took the time to answer any questions my husband and I had, even offering extra useful information. They talked to us like friends, never being pushy or acting like we were just a numer buying a vehicle. We walked away with not only the perfect vehicle for us but a piece of mind knowing we made the right decision. If you're looking for a great vehicle, at great prices and unbeatable staff, McGrath Chevrolet is the place to go!!

McGrath must be going through a hard time they just started charging a credit card handling fee…read more Or they are they just a bunch greedy bastards. They are gouging the customers with a 3% credit card handling fee and won't accept a check. If you're going charge a credit card handling fee, then at least accept personal checks.. I purchased my last two Silverado's there since 2018 and I guess the keyword is last. I'm done. I put quite a few miles on vehicles and I have to turn them over every 3 to 5 years. I do most all the recommended services and oil changes every 5000 miles. They lost my business. The management team there must be pretty awful because the service advisors have been turning over quite often lately. I'm there for an oil change about every six weeks and there's always someone different at the service counter and there's always different car sales people.

We started looking at the outside of them and a salesman walked up from the building which was nice. They liked a gunmetal grey model but could not really see inside. I asked him if he could get the keys and open this one so they could sit in it and check out the fitment. The salesman said to come down to the building and go from there. I said but the vehicle is here they want to see why would we go way down there? I asked again if he could just open this one so they could see it. Meanwhile it was 38 degrees and a little windy as my parents are standing there. He said again come down to the building and go from there. I got agitated and asked why he thinks I should have my 80 year old parents walk over 100 yards down to the building in the cold when we are standing at the vehicle they want to see??? He said "Well whatever, if they want to see this Explorer come down to the office and get the keys!" Waved his hand and walked away. Boy was I pissed! Took my parents over to Chevrolet where they came out and opened any cars they wanted to see. Done ranting for now. I'll remember that experience for a long, long time.

I am posting this for accountability regarding Anderson‑Weber Toyota and its affiliated dealership,…read moreToyota of Muscatine, operated by the Weber family (Jeff Weber, Tim Weber, Alec Weber). I specifically communicated with these individuals regarding a critical title and registration error involving a 2026 Toyota vehicle purchase. Despite clear instructions, the dealership processed documents under the wrong purchaser using an electronic signature workflow without proper disclosure. This error has not been corrected despite repeated notices and escalation to ownership. Current impact (not hypothetical -- already happened) I was issued a citation for driving an unregistered vehicle The Illinois Motor Vehicles Department refused registration due to incorrect title/assignment I am now facing court exposure, penalties, and inability to legally operate the vehicle This harm is directly caused by dealership documentation failure and delay in correction. What makes this serious This is no longer a customer service issue -- it is a compliance and liability issue: Incorrect MSO/title assignment Failure to correct after formal notice Failure to act after foreseeable legal consequences Continued inaction even after damages occurred The dealership has been provided with a standard Illinois correction mechanism (Affirmation of Correction / POA) and has all authority required to fix the issue immediately, yet has not done so. Expectation I am still requesting only one thing: Immediate corrected title or signed Illinois correction document. Warning to buyers Be extremely careful: Verify purchaser name before signing anything Do not rely on electronic signing without review Ensure ownership and title documentation is correct before leaving This situation has escalated unnecessarily due to lack of timely corrective action from dealership ownership. I expect immediate resolution.
