Absolutely terrible experience. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I brought my 2016 BMW X5 in for service and ended up paying nearly $4,000. I specifically told them my rear passenger tire had a slow leak. They claimed to have checked it, yet within 25 miles of leaving, I had to stop and put air in the tire myself. That alone tells you everything about their attention to detail. It gets worse. While my car was in their shop, I was out of town for a few days and clearly told them I would not be back right away. They were the ones who suggested I have someone else return the loaner vehicle on my behalf. I agreed, but without my knowledge, that person drove the car excessively. Now I'm being blamed and penalized for something I did not authorize, even though this was a one-time situation and I have no history of misusing loaner vehicles. Instead of handling this reasonably, they decided to put a note on my account banning me from getting any future loaners. No real conversation, no warning--just a decision. Even worse, my girlfriend brought her own car in for service after a minor accident, and because of what happened with me, they refused to give her a loaner as well. She had nothing to do with the situation, yet they chose to penalize her anyway. That is completely unfair and unprofessional. Between the poor-quality service and the way they treat customers, this place clearly does not value your business. There are plenty of other dealerships that will treat you with basic respect--go to one of those instead. read more

I was on vacation on Cape Cod with my new BMW Z4. I got a nail stuck in one of my tires causing a very slow leak. I was able to drive to a local tire shop to get it repaired only to find out the lug nut adapter for my locked rims was never put into my car. I was stranded, lucky for me I called the local BMW dealership (BMW of Cape Cod), they told me to bring the car over and they would be able to help me get the locked lug off. When I arrived, I was greeted by Chris and Amanda. Amanda took down my information while Chris ran a got the box of adapters, he brought along a tech who was able to get the locked lug off and install a new one (that Chris helped me purchase from the parts dept.). I did not buy my car at BMW of Cape Cod, but was treated like I was their best customer, I couldn't thank them enough. Great service and a beautiful dealership. read more

The dealership: Service is always VERY BUSY (not a good sign), too busy to answer the phone, too busy to return messages... That advertised 'loaner car' has yet to be available. With these new "run flat" tires, you need to bring the car to the dealer for that $800 flat tire bill (yes, you can't fix'em and you need to replace both tires if its a rear tire flat) - so, service needs to answer the phone. read more

I have given them multiple chances on multiple vehicles for several years and todays was the last straw . brought the car in for service Monday that was scheduled a. month ago and was to be completed by noon Monday. I got there they forgot to order the parts and asked me to leave it 90 minutes away from home take their loaner and drive another 3 hours round trip to get it . when I said I couldn't they said it would be delivered today and they would call me. Now I need the car at 10 am tomorrow and some items in it and they never called me and never returned any of my 3 voice mails left before they closed. This is pretty much standard operation for this service department . after 25 years and 5 BMW's it's time to either say good by to the brand or suffer a 2 hour 15 minute drive to a more reputable dealership. read more

I would highly recommend that you avoid this dealership and Auto Group at all costs. They are scam artists. Brought I 2021BMW X7 in for an oil change. Quoted $189, healthy for oil change but it is a dealer. Then was told I was due for 4 year checkup, was told I had engine light on, and I should replace filters (engine and cabin). Having done business with BMW for years I told them to address all. when leaving they presented me with a $1,200 bill. shame on me for trusting or putting faith in this dealership. I talked with Service Manager about pricing ($650 for labor and $500 plus in parts). Parts included 4 filters, oil, oil filter. By the way the car was in the shop less than 1 hour and 30 minutes. pretty healthy labor rate. in addition the check engine light was a loose gas cap that they charges$199 for. I just had my car serviced here and was nervous going in because I made the appointment before reading the reviews, and when I read some of the bad reviews I was apprehensive but I was very pleasantly surprised to have gotten fantastic service on my vehicle today. I got what I paid for. They didn't try to upsell me. They recommended a couple of things that I needed but didn't push that I get them. Amanda, was a pleasure to work with. The waiting area is very comfortable and they offer some nice snacks while waiting. I would highly recommend taking your BMW here for service. read more

I've just had my 2017 X5 serviced today from BMW of Cape Cod. My husband (Richard Meany) and I purchased this vehicle from Tim Muldoon in Oct, 2016. We have always found the service to be top notch. Everyone we have dealt with had always been very courteous and helpful. BMW is an expensive vehicle and therefore when new parts are needed, they are likewise expensive. Oh how I wish I had read service reviews prior to my own poor experience. I am a recent widow and senior. The purpose of my visit was to have oil change and oil filter replacement. Charley, the service agent quoted me a price of $700. When I questioned the high cost, he related that a cabin filter replacement was recommended @ $200. Didn't think it was necessary on a 2 year old car and declined. He didn't tell me that there were other items included that I would also have declined. Thinking inflation, etc were the reason for a $500 oil change I approved the work with my signature. I paid and signed again. Later, reflecting on what seemed to be an exohorbitant cost I checked with another BMW dealership. They charge $99 for oil and filter including labor. I then called Premier BMW to seek clarification Left a message and emailed Service Manager, Myles Leavitt. Never received a reply. Claimed they never received my VM or email. Odd that email address was correct and VM left for service. When I called and later received a call from Mr Leavitt, he said he had a lot of other matters the company expected him to do and couldn't get back to me for 3 days....really? When he did eventually reply, he would make no adjustments..because after all I did sign for the work to be done. To top matters off, they incapacitated my ability to call from the car and radio and nav can't work simultaneously. At no time did Charley review the proposed work and associated charges. Ken the sales associate, Alex the Sales Manager, and Rich the Store Manager are a joke. Their approach to customer service is horrible. The arrogance displayed by these three individuals during a potential sale was astounding. They lie about BMW stacking incentives for certified cars. Probably to turn around and pocket the money. Every other BMW dealership in the nation stacks incentives. If you kindly ask the to give a $500 price break since they wouldn't stack incentives they demoralize you. This crew needs removed from BMW of Cape Cod. At one point Rich asked me for a $3000 deposit and when i told him i was at the softball field i would do it tomorrow he told me he wasn't going to sell me a car then. In Rich's bio it states Customer satisfaction is our #1 goal! I just had my 2019 BMW X2 serviced for oil and a Tire problem. I feel taken care of and valued as a customer. I trust BMW of Cape Cod. Maeve in Service Advising is excellent. Professional, caring, knowledgeable and very helpful. She's an amazing person and very smart. At the end of December 2020 i had another BMW that had some Major issues / problems and BMW of Cape Cod was right there for me like family. Actually they were the only people who I could count on! I purchased a vehicle from them as I traded in the one that needed a lot of work. My son has an FAA license and steered me into purchasing and enjoying the brand. Again, it's trust - family integrity that the dealership has, and BMW manufactures airplane engines that are superior and there's a nice history with this brand. So I love BMW and BMW of Cape Cod. read more

Premier BMW Hyannis MA will tell you anything to get you to spend money. They never tell you the truth and have no problem lying to you on a regular basis. I purchased an extended warranty and was told " it will cover EVERYTHING except tires " up to 75,000 miles. I questioned them at the time, so I'll never have to pay anything except for when it comes to the tires. "Correct" was the answer. Not even close to being the truth. Service is no charge but anything above that will cost you. I recently called them out on it and was told "we apologize the warranty wasn't fully explained to you". Easy words to say. My car, X5, is 19 months old, still fairly new and under warranty. I was surprised when the BMW emblems fell out of not one but two of the wheels, one on the front, one on back tires. When I inquired about having them replaced, I provided pics and a statement via email. Not once did they inform me they were going to charge me to replace them until I showed up for service. The tech could not figure out why they were no longer adhered to the wheel but... if the dealership claims the part is "missing", then they can charge for service regardless of the details and new car warranty. "Missing" is the key terminology. That's OK, they lose in the long run, I'll go off Cape next time I need service. My neighbor was correct, should have listened to him and went elsewhere but thought to give Hyannis BMW Service Department a try. Live and learn. Oh, and when I was buying my said 19 month old vehicle l, the CC BMW sales rep low balled a trade in price for my 2016 X5. I traded the car at another BMW dealership and received $4000 more then CC BMW offered me. read more

This review is for the service department only. I have had BMWs for the last 16 years and this dealership is the only one close enough to my home to conveniently use. With the cost of BMW service outrageously expensive, you would expect the level of service to be exceptional. That is not the case at this dealership. The latest upsetting experience involves a $1400 quoted repair. Upon picking up the vehicle we were presented with a $2200 bill. The service representative told us she quoted this amount to us but this is not the case. During the conversation in question, my phone was on speaker and both my wife and I distinctly remember the $1400 quote, which we thought was rather high for the work needed. (rear brakes). When I objected to the $800 increase over the quoted amount, she said she could reduce the bill if I would agree to have some of the old parts replaced back on my vehicle. Why would I want worn brake components put back on my car? Why did they recommend they be replaced in the first place? read more

This review is for the service department. Overall a pleasant enough experience and adequate waiting area. Service costs seem a little higher than Boston, but they have no competition for a good 50+ miles. Reading other reviews did prompt me to think that there seems to be a bit of a pattern, so thought worthwhile to add a review. What I sensed was a reluctance to do warranty work. Warranty work is reimbursed by BMWNA at a lower hourly rate then what customers pay. Goes without saying what dealerships prefer. In my case, service charges included $100+ for 30-40 minute inspection (step up from courtesy inspections during oil changes). I bought my BMW certified pre-owned several months before... Yes, I know!!! Should have declined but thought it was part of the 30k service - mistake is on me. I did decline $125 service to change an item that took me 15 minutes plus $25 for the part to do myself (less time than driving to dealer). Which gets me to the warranty work. Their proposed solution was around $200+ all labor and not under warranty. Took BMW to another dealer and after a more thorough diagnosis... Over $1,000 worth of new parts and service - ALL COVERED under the new car warranty still in effect (parts were out of spec and to do the job right it required more than the labor fix proposed). Anyway, to be clear, I do think these are normal BMW dealer service costs. When you do ask about costs you do get a bit of the "well if you have to ask, can you really afford a BMW???" type of look :) (I did pay for my BMW outright, all cash, no financing btw). I do consider myself more of a BMW enthusiast (love the handling and still miss my E34 small block V8, stick shift!) versus someone who buys for the logo... Bmw of cape cod took my car in on a Friday before thanksgiving on standby. They never said it could take ten days before they got to it or I would have had AAA tow it elsewhere. they repeatedly called starting Tuesday to say it would be addressed the next day. Every day I called and they said the next day. After speaking to sales they finally allegedly got it up on a rack on Friday and said a technician was looking at it. and if it wasn't repaired Friday it would be Saturday. Then Saturday they called to say technician wasn't in hadn't left any notes and it will happen Monday. They knew on Friday the 17th I was leaving the state Sunday the 28th and needed the car. Now I am delayed w my plans. My son has just been in a terrible accident where his car was totaled and I have to rent a car to head up. They are liars. And having had fIve bmws w no issues and no issues w service. This is extraordinary. Don't go to bmw of cape cod. By the way did you know if your key fob doesn't work there is no way to start the car? The valet key is for show. read more

I worked with Tim Muldoon and I can say that it was the best car buying experience I've had to date. Tim was absolutely wonderful and very responsive. He gave me his personal mobile and I contacted him many times regarding the pros and cons of a specific car that I had my eye on. Tim was great to work with and I really feel that he was looking out for my best interest. His exact words "You're not wasting my time at all! Even if you do go with a different brand, I just want to make sure that you're getting a good value". He is truly a class act and helped me through this process, which can be rather daunting to someone that does not have a lot of knowledge about cars. The dealership is beautiful. There is a great waiting area and they treat everyone that walks in the door like gold. Wonderful coffee/beverage station and plenty of snacks. Very comfortable leather chairs in the waiting room and I won't mind sitting and waiting when my vehicle gets serviced. The finance manager (Richard) was wonderful as well as Ethan Harrington who spent almost two hours showing me how my new car works and all of the bells and whistles. He even put in the new mats for me and switched out the license plate holder upon my request. They really left no stone unturned. I'm happy to be part of the Premier BMW family and will continue to purchase my future cars from this dealership. I read reviews on google and someone else said the same and owner said he'd take care of it. Well, he didn't. However, dealing with BMW of Cape Cod was one of the best--if not THE best--car-buying experiences I've ever had (and I'm in my 50s). I worked with James C, who was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and listened to what my girlfriend and I were looking for (overall value). James is an excellent sales person--the best I've worked with. We had a minor repair that was needed and it was taken care of immediately, and with no inconvenience to us at all. I entered this dealership with one problem with my car. In fact I was able to drive my to the dealership for diagnostics. They tried to play around with my transmission and when I came back to bring my car to better mechanics than these. I was informed that my car WOULD NO LONGER DRIVE AT ALL, (let me reiterate, I drove this functioning car to the dealership with slight transmission troubles In hopes of getting that fixed)but wait there's more instead of one dashboard light that my 2008 BMW originally had, it now has 4 of them. My 2017 BMW engine light was on and I called to bring it in so they could tell me why. They said I could bring it by but they could not guarantee that they could see it. When I got there they said they were too busy and that I had to make an appointment. I said just let me know if it is safe to drive. They said " the warning is in yellow so it's fine, you don't have to be concerned until its red." They gave me an appointment 2 weeks later. At that appointment they said I needed a part and that it would take 2 weeks to get it. After 3 weeks I called about the status of the part and found out that they had forgotten to order the part. After receiving the part it took another 3 weeks to get an appointment. They told me it was a 4 hour repair job and they gave me a loner vehicle since I was coming from Martha's Vineyard. Mid afternoon they called and said it was taking longer to repair and that they would not be able to finish today. By 11:30 the next day (after having to stay overnight on the cape) I showed up at the dealership to say this was unaccepthable for a 4 hour repair. They said the car was all set and that they were vacuuming and washing the vehicle and it would be right out. While on the boat on my way back I noticed the engine light was still on and it said that It was due for an oil change. Then within 2 days it said I was out of coolant (which on the bill they charged me for coolant). Then within a week I got a message that said stop driving vehicle, pull over serious engine damage can occur. I called BMW Hyannis and they said bring it over. I said it says not to drive, they said have it towed! I took it to a local mechanic and they said that BMW should never have let it leave the shop. After paying $1200.00 to BMW Hyannis for a repair fail I now have to pay another $1500 to correct what they did. This is my third BMW from this agency and I have a new one on order that I have been waiting for for 3 months. I am seriously not confident with this agency. read more

Awful experience at the service department. We brought our car in for the 1,200 mile service for new vehicles recently. It was covered under warranty so there was no charge to us . Probably why they treated us so poorly . First of all they told us it would be a 1 hour service and included a complimentary wash and vacuum. In actuality, it was a 3 hour service. We live about 45 mins away so this was rather inconvenient for us . After all was said and done , they gave us back our car filthy dirty and served with a giant side of attitude!!! Needless to say I'm very disappointed in BMW cape cod . I was forewarned about how terrible this dealership is by a family member but it's just so convenient for us because we live on Cape Cod, we decided to bring our car there ! Next time I will make the trek off Cape to Sudbury or Shrewsbury where we've had great experiences before ! read more

Anthony was my client advisor and he was a phenomenal person to work with. He was professional and quick and any problem I had he addressed immediately. I brought my X5 in for a clicking noise and mentioned my gas station attendant said it "may" be a belt. BMW reported that i said I wanted the alternator changed then replaced a belt that was just replaced 5 months prior. They also replaced 6 gaskets because of the "massive "oil leaks. There was not a drop of oil on my designated parking space at work or home. then when I got into the car ($3200 later) I turned it on and the engine light was on so either they caused it or it wasn't diagnosed in their 10 point $465 preliminary diagnostic test.They wanted another $465 to diagnose this. I would say to anyone buying a BMW from Premier think again. My car died two days after picking it up read more

Just moved to cape my wife's Bmw was leaking what looked like oil on garage floor . Brought car to BMW cape Cod . At first service person was ok told us repair was going to be around 1300 dollars to fix oil leak and car could use tires front end alignment etc total was going to be around 2900 . I questioned price but I was told BMW dealer prices are some what higher then your local garage BUT they have the best high quality technicians , so after some thought I told them to do the work . They called at end of day said car was finished . We went to pick it up paid bill and left . The next day when we moved car out of garage the car WAS STILL LEAKING OIL ! Called BMW OF CAPE COD the car had to go back . At end of day they called said it was finished said it was some left over oil that just leaked over they cleaned it up and it was ALL SET ! Didn't drive car for a few days when we moved car out of garage OIL LEAKING AGAIN . Now I'm not happy car had to go back AGAIN after talking to Service dept and Manager of BMW OF CAPE COD and long unpleasant conversation I was told IT WAS A NEW LEAK THAT THETE TOP NOTCH TECHNICIANS didn't find the first 2 times !! And it was like a 2,000 NEW REPAIR . I was extremely unhappy they said I WOULD ONLY have to pay 390 dollars and they would fix it . After long unpleasant conversation and being told I DIDNT BUY THE CAR AT BMW OF CAPE COD , referring to the NEW REPAIR Was beat and just gave in and told the to fix it . I have the car back it's been a few days and so far it's not leaking . Purchased vehicle when Anthony was there and it was a very positive experience. Service is another matter....without going into details it is almost impossible to talk to someone in service. Eventually your message is responded to. As you wait for your vehicle ( it's been a week for a recall on a 20 17 750) they indicate that you can communicate via text messaging. It's a one way communication in as much as you wait hours for a response. A shame for they facilities are exceptional....they need to place more emphasis on the importance of communication read more
