I recently had surgery and was unable to get out to the dealer to buy a new car. I reached out to Hyannis Honda and they connected me with Rachel Ferreira one of their sales associates. Rachel did an amazing job helping me find the car I wanted and worked with me to negotiate a very, very fair deal. Her communication all on the phone and online and through text messages was amazing. I must tell you I bought many many cars over my life and this was the least stressful most relaxing experience I've ever had. I recommendation is if you're looking for a new car definitely check out Hyannis Honda. And if you want an amazing stress-free experience speak with Rachel. Thank you, Rachel and the rest of the Hyanis Honda team for making this the best car buying experience of my life. read more

This place is absolute bullshit. My daughter dropped her car off for a warranty repair and they told her it needed a brake oil change for $225. They also told her they couldn't pick her up or drive her home. We rearranged out schedules to pick up her car and her the person at the next desk tell the customer they couldn't pick her picked up and dropped off. As for my experience I put a deposit on a new vehicle and they said they would need my old vehicle for three days before I could pick up the new one and blamed it on the registry of Motor vehicles. I went to Nissan and bought a new car there. This place is so worth avoiding. read more

I took my Ridgeline in for an oil change and tire rotation. After sitting in the waiting room for 15 minutes, the tech came out and tried to sell me a transmission fluid change (truck has 13,000 miles). Cost just over $300. I said no. 10 minutes later she came out again to told me I should change my brake fluid. (Total cost for fluid changes about $444.00. I said no. A couple days later I took the truck to Sullivan Tire to have the fluids check. They told me that they could not justify changing the fluids and to return in 18 months. I am done with Hyannis Honda. We looked for cars and narrowed it down to one of two vehicles. The Honda CRV or the Toyota Rav 4 We liked the look of the CRV the most but when we asked about the sales price the sales person told us no room for negotiation and rates about 7. He didn't seem interested in trying to negotiate any and said he would be leaving in about ten minutes. So we left and bought the RAV4. Nice red color and are very happy with it. read more

Great experience from start to finish! After I inquired about the vehicle, I was immediately followed up with by Rachel. Rachel was super helpful and informative about the used vehicle I was trying to buy (2022 Lexus GX 460). After only a few days, Rachel and I were able to work out a deal in which we were both happy with. The vehicle was (2) and a half hours away from my house so everything was nailed down over the telephone prior to the pick-up. When we picked up vehicle, there were any hiccups and the vehicle was as advertised. The vehicle was deatiled and in even better condition than I could have asked for. Conrad helped us with the finance part and explained everything thoroughly so there wasn't any misunderstanding. I am very happy with my seamless experience at Hyannis Honda and am willing to buying another car there in the future. Rachel and Conrad are the best! read more

Worst service experience ever. I scheduled some service on my 2018 Accord, when I show up and mentioned the estimate they said, "Oh did you want after-market or Honda parts? We can't guarantee after-market parts." I said, who goes to a Honda dealership for after-market parts and no one mentioned them when I scheduled the service? "Ok, they said, let me write this up for you to get your authorization." Then they come out and say "the Honda parts are very expensive, just the parts are more than your parts and labor estimate." Service manager gets involved and when I ask if they are not going to honor their original estimate and says, "can you tell me why do you want this work done?" Unbelievable. Can you image showing up for a water pump replacement based on a prior $1,200 parts and labor estimate and only then being asked if you wanted a Honda or after-market water pump. "Oh, the Honda water pump is more than your total estimate." Unbelievable. I walked out. read more

Cody Handrahan, cannot be trusted! If you want to make a deal with Cody make sure you have everything in writing, signed and dated by him. With that being said, I still think he is a coward! Mike Kelliher on the other at first was pulled back due to my frustration, called me the following day to apologize and made right by me! Traded in my car for the original deal that was supposed to happen in the first place. I was in and out within 1hour! Thank you for that. Trust is a still a big thing in life. And when that trust is broken it takes a lot to "EARN" it back. If you choose Hyannis Honda as your place to do business, please make sure everyone is 100% clear on your intentions and all details are recorded via writing, emails, and text. Be sure everything is signed and dated by all parties involved. Happy holidays! read more

We have always bought Nissans. When our local nissan Dealer changed to another brand. The nearest dealership Is 25 miles away. At 80 it was not an option. So decided to look at Honda. It was a wonderful choice. Our sales guy, Jason worked with us. Have had multiple service for oil changes. Now a two year old SUV, and cannot say enough about the service dept. And the service manager is amazing. Thank you so much Stephanie. Your crew needs a pat on there back. I am about to buy a second Honda. And my buddy is buying a new Ridgeline! read more

Avoid. To management: your customers (or potential customers) will always remember when you tried to price gouge us during this pandemic. It's going to come back and bite you someday. I bought a new car in June and was very disappointed in the sales department. Picking up the car was not what I expected after buying a $42,000+ car. Leased a Honda Accord here a few years ago, had a somewhat pressured sales experience, and ended up with a 3 year service plan. The sales team never communicated this to service or my file so any time I went in for service, I would be asked for payment followed by my explanation that I shouldn't be charged and then presenting my contract that showed I was covered. Not the end of the world, but still a completely unnecessary hassle. (After the 3rd or 4th time, someone finally copied my contract to put on file!) My biggest issue was with the service department during scheduled, routine maintenance which I had an appointment for. After waiting what was probably too long for my oil change, a rep came out to ask if I wanted an inspection too, which I forgot was due - so I said yes. Letting me know an approximate wait time would have been greatly appreciated for this additional service. At this point they should have asked me for my registration, which they didn't, and I forgot they would need it. I had this in my purse as I didn't know if it was needed during check in (it's not). After watching everyone in the waiting room come and go, people arriving after leaving before me, finally the same rep comes out and asks if I have my registration, which I presented, handing it to her as she says "yeah the tech was looking for it." (wait, what?) When my car was finally done and I finished settling up, I went to my car in the parking lot. It wasn't locked (ok, I'm just inside paying, so no big deal, I can see it from the window), so when I got to my car and saw my wallet sitting on my front passenger seat, I was very upset. Hear me out: My wallet had been in my LOCKED glove box specifically to keep it out of sight from the employees at Honda. And they had taken the liberty of UNLOCKING and rifling through my personal items to search for my registration (which I don't keep in the glove box anyhow!). I was quite upset, went back inside to ask why that was ok for someone to unlock the compartments to search through. The service manager was not remorseful and the "apology" lacked any sincerity. Expect no respect for your personal property at Hyannis Honda. My next lease was from Silko, in Raynham, without any service plan! Far better decision, better deal, better sales experience, and I can take my vehicle for an oil change anywhere I find convenient. read more

I'm copying and pasting my Google review, but with an addendum. We actually ended up going to Plymouth Honda and had a great experience! (Will write that review up later). So if you are car shopping (can't speak to maintenance or anything else) and want to check out Hondas? I would skip Hyannis and make the trip to Plymouth: more choices, more respectful staff, and they actually negotiated the price when they saw we were ready to buy. Meanwhile, Hyannis told us there was no way they could go down on price. They also said Plymouth likely didn't have any better inventory (omg such a lie) and that we'd have to Norwood if we expected to find what we were looking for. 9.9 With that: On to the review! Very disconcerting experience. When my boyfriend called to make an appointment, he was already convinced he was going to go with a Honda. After this experience, he's actually looking at different makes all together. Brian made us wait almost 15 minutes... when we had scheduled an appointment. We sat there without anyone checking in or asking if we wanted water or anything. We were the only customers, sitting in a roomful of salesman shooting the breeze with each other while we waited. Brian finally shows up and immediately tells us they don't have what we are looking for (an Accord hybrid). This was frustrating bcs my boyfriend had said when he made the appointment that's what he wanted, and Brian told us to come anyway. His reason they don't keep hybrids in stock? "Most customers on Cape are old people; hybrids are too complicated for them." As a nurse on Cape Cod, I found this ageist and gross. We asked if he could maybe get one on the lot (we were still that eager to buy one at that point), and Brian straight-up said no. He kept talking about how the other car he was pushing (a freaking CRV, by the way... like, so far removed from a hybrid sedan) was better price-wise and how we should only bother with a hybrid "if you're in it for the environment." Uh, yep, actually, that is exactly our reason. He also kept saying how people just want hybrids bcs they think "they're cool," and when he saw we were a little put-off by this (I've been a hybrid owner for years), he backtracked by going on a tangent about how he "gets it" bcs he rides a Harley (presumably a cool and expensive one, I guess). Finally, he said it would only be worth it if we were "the type of people who can pay cash upfront." With heavy implication that we were not able to do so (we are). And this whole time, he's blathering away without a mask on, even though my boyfriend and I both had on our masks and were backing away the whole time. The whole experience was so weird and off-putting. I'm sure being a car salesperson is a miserable job, but, I mean common sense would be to find ways to connect with your customers. Brian managed to make us feel uncomfortable and insulted, and Hyannis Honda didn't even have a car we could look at. read more

Worked with Cody on buying a used car. Cody is very reliable and very fast to answer any questions. All goes for his coworkers to.

Incompetent staff. Called to install a roof rack and they said they have all the parts and could install it the next day. We told them that we do not have the roof rails on our model HRV. Dropped the car off the next day at 9:30am. They called at 5:30pm and said they they do not have the right things to install the rack. They said they were under the assumption that my car had roof rails. When to pick my car up and go somewhere else, and the service desk lady couldn't find my keys. She even had me come behind the desk to look for them...... Needless to say, they were in the car. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a dealership. Glad I don't have to deal with this dealership ever again read more

I truly would NOT recommend this Honda location to anyone. I am new to the cape and have always used Honda to service my Mini van on the Northshore. Up north - your car is serviced in a drive thru manner, detailed and you are offered a rental for the day if the service is going to take longer thanks 2 hrs. The Hyannis location - not even a vacuum offered. I was under the impression that I had an appointment to get my oil changed and get an inspection sticker at the same time. Yeah, no - inspections are done on a first come first serve basis - so no inspection for you if you come in at 11....lines too long and they need lunch. I will drive north from now on to service my car. read more

SO GREAT. I wish I could give more than five stars. Our salesman was super helpful and I left walking away with a great first car, at a very reasonable price. The car I had wanted online was at the Orleans location, and our salesman drove us to Orleans in a different car so we could look at it and I got to drive it back to Hyannis!! The longest test drive ever, and I loved the car. Naturally I couldn't leave without it. They go out of their way to make you comfortable and are covering washing and buffing my new car, and fixing the squeaky window, since they couldn't go as low with the price as I would've hoped. I am thrilled to have gotten my first car there and I won't go anywhere else on the cape! read more

After reading Melissa T's review I had to sit at my computer to type my review as typing this on my phone would have taken me forever. I purchased a Honda mini-van 15 months ago from Hyannis Honda and I would rate the overall experience from the sales department as OK. I did all my work on-line and had a quote from an off-Cape dealership I thought was reasonable and we started our haggling from that number. Not too many complaints about the whole process - I was never going to enjoy it, However if you could give zero or even a negative rating to the service department it would be appropriate! Where to begin... They seem to pride themselves on not making service appointments and I agree with Melissa T - they are exceedingly rude in every interaction. Not making an appointment only gurantees that you will be at Hyannis Honda at least 2.5 hours every time you go for an oil change. Really this system seems to work only if you are retired or unemployed - otherwise it is a total and complete waste of time. If you nicely ask to make an appointment they are completely snide and condescending - I called yesterday to ask if an appointment could be made and of course was told NO and that the next available date was in 2 weeks. They point you to their large waiting room and act as though you should be happy to spend the next 2.5 hours to be happy staring at your phone with a group of people. I don't care about the TV, coffee, faux leather recliners, or nasty bathroom - I just want an oil change. For what it is worth, Ive heard that the Falmouth Honda dealership is quite good. It is a testament to the lack of nearby competition and the fact that getting off Cape is such a pain in the summer that this place is actually busy every time I am there. I'll get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube and take my business elsewhere as they do not value customer service. read more

How hard is it to give a customer what they're asking for? Walked into Honda on a Saturday for an oil change with my 2016 SUV. It had 6100 miles on and 30% oil life left and I requested an oil change. The gentleman taking my information told me that I'll screw my car up for getting an oil change too early because my car never told me I needed it. Working 60 hours a week, I don't have much time during the week and that leaves me with weekends to get things done. They also aren't willing to do service work i.e., warranty work on my radio, on a weekend without Hondas approval. I'll be driving to Plymouth from now on. read more

My fiancé took a couple of hours off mid day yesterday to leave work in Falmouth and went to Hyannis Honda to look into options regarding her leased pilot which was coming due ina few months. The options included simply turning in the vehicle, possibly buying out the lease, or even purchasing a brand new vehicle. When she arrived at the dealership She was introduced to Patrick who was the next salesman in line. From their initial meeting, Patrick was not very enthusiastic. As their interaction progressed it became clear that he had no interest in assisting her. When she explained why she was there, He was extremely condescending to her. She was very clear that she wanted to look at the options And costs Associated with turning in the vehicle, possibly purchasing out the lease, or buying a brand new CRV. He asked her how much she wanted to put down on a new vehicle to which she responded she simply wanted some information and numbers to make an informed decision he became frustrated and told her he simply could not help her. At this point it became very clear to her that he had no interest in helping her so she proceeded to leave the dealership. Fortunately once she got outside she realized how Unprofessionally she had been treated and walked back inside. Once inside she asked a few sales men who are present if it was possible to get the numbers she asked for and fortunately they all responded yes. One of the salesman she spoke to was Andy who was extremely friendly and clearly enthusiastic about customer service. By this time she had to get back to work so had to leave the dealership but fortunately had Andy's information. After she spoke with meI was livid and ready to leave work myself to go have a chat with the dealership. Instead I let myself calm down and called Hyannis Honda and spoke with their general manager Mike. Mike listened to my concerns and was extremely apologetic. After a productive conversation we decided that my fiancé and I would both be down later in the evening. Long story short, 24 hours later we drove home in a brand new CRV. Take home message: Patrick maybe one of their top salesman, but was extremely unprofessional and Displayed the classic chauvinistic and sexist stereotypes of a distasteful salesman. Andy Was professional from the start and extremely friendly, courteous, helpful in the entire buying process. Mike and Eddie were great managers who listened to our concerns and were fair in the negotiation process. Jake was informative and very helpful in finance. read more

I arrived at 1:35 pm for a 2:00 simple maintenance oil change and state inspection. When iI arrived there was no one in the waiting room. Very possibly late lunch time, my car was taken into the shop around 2:00. I waited there for the work to be done. The service representative, Brian, called me in ay for the work done at about 4:00 pm. He apologized for the delay it took to complete the service on my car. That was nice of him and I appreciate it. But, there is no excuse for taking 2 hours to change the oil and perform a state safety inspection on my car. read more

They found it completely ok to sell my 77 year old partially blind, diabetic and with a pacemaker father a lemon after he had already done years of business with this corrupt and cruel establishment. If I was there it wouldn't have happened. When the car left the lot the stereo didn't completely work, the tires were so dry rotted they couldn't hold air, and now let's talk about under the hood..pretty shady stuff when the engine looks like it took a salt bath. Makes sense why there was electrical problems. Every single connection and hose has some form of rot. It's so dried out. What do you think starts happening? Antifreeze starts leaking. I have called the dealership 3 times to either get rolled into a new car (since they think it's perfectly ok to have a payment on a worthless vehicle). Each time they had hung up on me. One time I was nice, and in mid sentence we got the phone slammed on us. The other time was by Patrick who thought he was hanging up on an ex boyfriend, and the last happened last week...a timid guy...stuttered a lot and after I mentioned I was at the third mechanic he said "THIS IS A FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS!" He didn't believe that I was in this situation for some reason. Hey douchebag: I'm a LEAD!! I am a potential sale to get rolled into a better vehicle!! I asked if that was possible. He said sorry, I can't help you and hung up while I was in tears. This is the 7th vehicle from Hyannis Honda and what a nightmare it has been. Another thing I must notice is that while reading the reviews, the majority of one star reviews come from women. So I think they got some kind of schtick going on there: screw over the women and old people. Sounds more like a concentration camp than it does a car dealership. read more

Let me preface this by saying that I did not buy a vehicle here, I only purchased an extended warranty via a phone call. I live in Arizona, and was able to purchase Honda-care through this agency in one afternoon for half the cost of my dealership out here. To all those reading this from outside of Massachusetts, yes you can buy your extended warranty from here and it acts the same as if you bought it from your actual dealership. In Arizona, I was quoted at $2,200 for a seven-year 100,000 mile warranty, which was their "Asian family discount" (because I am of Asian decent, which in-and-of-itself was insulting to me, not just the actual price). They told me it was their lowest available price, and couldn't budge. I provided them with a quote from Hyannis, and they attempted to lie and lie to tell me how much of a scam this place is. I decided to do more homework, and called Sean Rausch with Hyannis to help refute the lies of my dealership. He did so, and made buying an extended Honda-care warranty a breeze. I purchased a warranty at literally half the cost in one afternoon. Painless is how I would describe it. After being tortured by my dealership out here, Hyannis and Sean Rausch provided me a breath of fresh air that not everyone out here is trying to scam their customers. Moral of the story here is to buy your warranty from Hyannis, no matter what state you are in. Don't listen to your dealership's lies, this is a legitimate Honda dealership, and if you are skeptical, call Sean Rausch, he cleared everything up for me in a 10 minute phone call and made me feel comfortable about pulling the trigger on this warranty. read more
