Long story short: we had a problem with our car that was under warranty, only one year old. Mazda USA issued a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) about the problem, so it was clear that there was a fix needed, and that it should have been fixed under warranty. We had bought the car at a suburban Boston dealer who will not be named. That dealer tried to say that the issue was normal wear and tear, even though the folks at Mazda USA said it was a manufacturer's fault. The Boston dealer was extremely rude and dismissive. We will never go there again. Turn the page to Mazda Cape Cod; they were friendly, understanding, and professional. They fixed the problem immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this Service Department, and special commendations to Corey German, Rafael Hernandez, and the technician Daryl Delancey. And thanks also to Mazda USA. They too were professional and understanding. We WILL buy a Mazda again! Love the car and the brand. Next time, go to Mazda Cape Cod! read more

Service Dept - unresponsive Had a "headlight malfunction. Have vehicle inspected" warning light up on dashboard. Called Mazda CC on Tuesday to schedule appt, no one answered, left message asking for call back to schedule appt - no response. Called Mazda CC on Wednesday morning, no one answered, left message asking for call back to schedule appt - no response. Called Mazda CC on Wednesday afternoon, no one answered, did not leave msg cuz I figured I already left 2 and they'll eventually call me back As of Thursday AM, still no call back so... I called again...no one answered, left message asking for call back to schedule appt - no response. And on FridayAM, I called and no one answered, left message asking for call back to schedule appt - no response. I finally gave up. Called Tasca Mazda in seekonk (significantly longer trip for me). they picked up on first ring, apologized for the inconvenience on the car and gave me the first appt on my next available day. read more

I went in to the service department since I had a check engine lite on and was greeted with a $375 fee to look at car and the service date would be in about two weeks when they had an availability date of . I told them I had gone to auto zone and they gave a free diagnostic of issue so it only needed a spark plug they said they can't go by that . I said thank you and left . I went to a mechanic and just like auto zone said the spark plug was replaced and my car was serviced . It was serviced in an excellent manner If the service department is like this I can only imagine the dealership department with sales. Mazdas are a great value and comparable to Volvo, Audi, BMW IMO but you'll spend $20k less. We have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership and have only had positive experiences. We have the vehicles serviced there, they have always been honest about what needs to be addressed immediately and what can wait. The waiting room is a comfortable space to post up while they work on the vehicle. Shout out to Megan and the team there for always taking great care of us. read more

The service and parts team here are the best. The mechanics are well trained professionals and do good and honest work. I love the video walk around during the complimentary mutipoint inspection. It shows everything as they check the car so there are no surprises. Megan will take good care of you at check-in and keep you in the loop during your visit. She is an absolute joy to interact with and knows her stuff really well. Avoid the sales manager with the Napolean complex. Don't know his name but he has a bad 1980's perm that might be a toupee. Quoting Will Farrell in the movie ELF......"he's an angry elf". Just hope it's his day off when you are shopping for a car. Not a pleasant man. In addition, I witnessed another older man in sales walk up to a service writer and communicate to him as if he was a stupid, lowly minion. Just sets a bad tone. Maybe buy somewhere else, but definitely go there for maintenance and service repairs. read more

I have been in the process of buying two cars, selling one, and exploring end of lease options for the other. I couldn't find anyone interested in perhaps buying me out of my near-end lease without me buying one of their cars. Until I talked to Oscar at Premier Mazda. He was extremely helpful, informative, and friendly- even late on a Saturday afternoon. He got back to me with the information I needed, right when he said he would. Although I didn't buy a car from them this time, they will be at the top of my list to check first if I am searching again in the future. read more

I bought my Mazda here and have always had it serviced here. Their former GM Oscar was awesome and their Service Department guy Alex was thorough and great at customer service. Unfortunately, they tore the showroom down and moved their service over to their Volvo dealership. Things have gone way downhill. I brought my car, which I bought from them, in for a state inspection, new lights, and to ascertain why the check engine light had come on. $2200 later the inspection was not done and the fog light was not replaced, so I had to take it back and was told it would cost another $380. My wife called Mike, their GM, and he decided to be aggressive and rude with her. Their service guy Zach was professional and nice but didn't ensure all the work was done and said, "if you want us to inspect it we will give it a 'fail'". So our relationship with Premier is over. We'll buy and service our cars elsewhere from people that understand customer service and maintaining relationships in a way that Mike and Zach don't care about. read more

Quite possibly the best vehicle purchase experience we've ever had! Thanks to Bob and everyone at Premier for the gorgeous and fully equipped CX-5! We'd like to share our story so that others can get a sense for how much the people at Premier care about connecting folks with the right vehicle: While we already had an idea of what sort of vehicle we were looking for and features, Bob really showed the level of his craft as a sales person - evaluating our understanding of features and offering a great demo ride while qualifying us and making us feel understood and respected. He went out of his way to pull two cars to demo since one did not have all the features we wanted to try out in the Mazda range. Not to mention being a well decorated vietnam veteran we connected well and felt like we could trust Bob. Above all else though, we never felt pressured in any way. We were introduced to Oscar who helped us along the sales process early on and I know Bob had worked with another gentleman at Premier named Kevin who was able to get us the most competitive price and win us over. It was great to see this cooperation throughout the showroom - the team worked hard to get us a fully loaded vehicle that had everything we were looking for in the right colors and get it onto their lot within our timeframe (actually faster than our timeframe - nice job fellas!) We know pricing can be hard for dealers in the age of the internet where consumers can be lost over pennies without ever seeing them face to face, but we felt that pricing was an easy conversation with these folks and everyone was truly committed to earning our business. They just wanted to make it simple for us and we valued that. You could tell they knew their bottom line and were straightforward about things over email. Compared to other experiences we have had with scummy dealerships that make promises just to get you into the showroom and then pull a bait 'n switch sort of scheme, this was light years ahead in terms of our customer experience. Lastly, Laurie in the finance office was a champion. She quickly and painlessly worked us through the administrative part which is always tough because of the amount of paperwork involved in buying a car. They have a very sophisticated touch-screen desk that lets you eSign everything and facilitate the finance conversation which helped us out. Not only that but Laurie was willing to go above and beyond to work out harder details when it came to deactivating plates on our trade-in and getting insurance stuff figured out. They didn't have to do any of that but I think they really cared about helping us. I can't emphasize enough that we felt like everyone played on the same team and coordinated well - with us at the center stage. We can't recommend Premier enough and would love to come back to them in the future if we have the opportunity!!!!! They do excellent work, they don't try to push me to buy anything or get anything done I don't need, are quick, and have a comfortable waiting area. This relates to the Service Dept. The manager/front desk person was nice, but the service was only half-baked. Notably, I needed to have the roof of my convertible fixed as it was leaking water. When I dropped off the car for repairs, I gave them a Service Bulletin which identified the likely problem, and noted how to deal with the wet floor and carpet. When the dealership made my repair, it appears that they got the roof repair right......but the totally booted it with respect to the floor and carpeting. As I drove home, I could feel and hear the water squishing around my shoes. Under the seat, the carpet was totally wet. I ended up using my shop vacuum to get the deep water out and have relied on the sun and a fan over the last few dry days to try to dry the carpet and pad. Still hoping that it doesn't mold or mildew. To their credit, the dealership offered to have me return the car for drying, but I live over a half hour away and couldn't afford to lose more time. So, I paid over $400 for a repair only to have to complete the job myself! Not a good service experience unfortunately despite all the positive reviews. read more

We had a loud shrill noise in one of our wheels and were 350 miles from home. We walked in on a Saturday morning and they took us immediately and found a minor problem in one of the brakes and even offered to do an additional recall procedure at no charge. You can just get a lovely beverage from the coffee bar and glance about. (I was "just looking" but they had such great cars and were so relaxed, yet attentive).
