I ordered the teriyaki chicken combo. The chicken was still kind of pink and chewy/stretchy although still tasted good. I didn't mind it however the rice i do mind. The rice seemed undercooked and was not very pleasant to eat. Spring rolls were kind of gross as well. They put mint leaves in it and it's really gross, it doesn not compliment the taste at all and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Maybe it's an acquired taste but man i just hated it. They also had a few stalks of leaks(?) in it too, which i don't see the point in. It doesn't taste good and also it's hard as hell when biting through the spring roll. Imagine eating a donut and biting a gumball halfway through it. That's how it feels. The only thing I relatively enjoyed was the taro boba milk tea. And even then it was sort of grainy for some reason? The plastic cover wasn't correctly seals so some of it was leaking in my car, and i asked for boba. They gave me some orange gelatin things. This is the second time I've came here. The first time was alright pretty fast service. The Boba they have here was trash , never did I get one ever again. But the soup itself it great ! Today I came in since it was raining my bf & I decided to try this place again but obviously not get boba and I love boba. We got in & the tables were all filled with dirty dishes. They have 3 tables with dirty plates that needed to be cleaned and just a little side table available. Which was ridiculous. Because I actually wanted to sit on a table. They kind of took forever today to bring the food out. And you had to get someone's attention to order some food. You can actually watch them cook your noodles that's how small the place is. This is the only Vietnamese food around pico and it's super busy especially on rainy days. I love the deals here and my favorites are the sandwiches and lunch specials. Their teriyaki chicken and pork chop is so bomb!!! For $5 ish bucks you get a full meal of rice with pork chop or teriyaki chicken. Make sure to try the bahn mi sandwiches. If you're never had bahn mi, it's basically a freshly toasted French baguette with your choice of protein and garnished with carrots, cilantro, and jalapeño. If you're not into spicy food, be warned! Take out the jalapeño! My coworkers and I love going here for lunch to get bahn mi since it's buy 3 get 1 free! Such a good deal to share with friends and fam. Also try their drinks! They have a deal with some that are buy 1 get 1 free! The egg rolls are a must try! So good and always warm! The pho is decent and so good on rainy days! But it does get packed and seating is limited so your best bet is to get it through the drive thru. Love this little place! read more

I've done drive thru a few times already and I like it! I usually get their Shrimp Tom Yum soup with some spring rolls. I like how everything is packaged and easy to put together at home. Lots of plastic waste :/ but they gotta do what they gotta do. Their spring rolls are good! Tasty and crunchy. Sometimes the lettuce is a little yellow though. The shrimp for the soup is over cooked but flavor wise it's worth the price. It's the only place near by where I can get this soup so I will continue giving them my business. I love love this place I come here about once a week! I discovered BMC Pho when I moved to Pico Rivera a year ago. The ladies who work here have always been so sweet and welcoming. Ive never had any complaints about the food, there has been like once where they forgot an item ordered for an order I placed online but when I walked back inside they were very apologetic and fixed it right away. My go to is the beef noodle soup, BBQ baguette, and the egg rolls. Their teas/drinks are also pretty good too! We received a mailer, so we went and tried it out. When we got to the counter, the lady behind the counter was on her cell phone. We were not ready, that is beside the point. Never, never use a cell phone when at work. So we ordered sampler with fried shrimps, egg rolls and wrap with shrimps, pho with shrimps and two drinks. As We were driving there I was hoping this Vietnamese restaurant would be a good one so I don't have to drive far to get Vietnamese food. The sampler came. The fried shrimps and egg rolls were dark color. Why do fried stuff look dark, cause the oil are used too many times that is why. Restaurant 101, oil can't be used too long, once the fried stuff become dark, it is time to change the oil, don't be a cheap ass. When our Pho came it was beef stew, so I told the lady we didn't order the beef stew we ordered shrimp. She looked at our receipt, it said beef stew, but I told her I ordered the shrimp. She took it back and talked to an Asian guy. A few minutes later the Asian guy brought a bowl of Pho with shrimps. He had the audacity to school me. He said the lady behind counter repeated the beef stew (item #3) to me three times, which she didn't cause my wife and I would have heard it, it was beef stew. I ordered (item #4) which is Pho with shrimps. So the Asian guy said next time you order make sure you remember what you ordered. So, he is accusing me that I didn't know what I wanted to eat or I forgot what the fuck I just ordered 5 minutes ago?????????? It is so easy to mistype 3 with 4 cause they are next to each other. Either the lady misheard or mistyped, still the Asian guy should have never accused me, cause I knew what I ordered. Anyway who the hell he think he is, accusing a customer rather than finding out the truth. By the way the Pho and the sampler were mediocre at the best, I would not even recommend my worst enemies to come. I have eaten at Vietnamese restaurants at least more than 30 times, believe me there are other genuine Vietnamese restaurants out there that taste way much better. As a local resident from the Pico Rivera/Montebello area, I was so excited to have this opening up and giving the city more diversity especially since I am a HUGE pho lover! First off, I walked in, checked my surroundings, and the ambiance seemed relax and a clean facility, including the restroom. The cashier greeted me instantly and I advised him it was my first time, he was extremely friendly and recommended me many dishes and drinks to try out. I went ahead and ordered #1 Special Combination Beef Noodle minus the "tripe" yes you're able to modify some ingredients, and the Boba Thai Tea; they have a BOGO free on the bobas so I got a free one which was the Boba Milk Tea! Both delicious! Ok, so I sat for a minute or so and they brought out my order, totally savoring myself as he placed in on my table but I had to wait... they had a section with free water additional ingredients to add to your Pho. I have to say I have never finished an entire bowl of pho but today it happened, either it was that amazing or I was starving. Which can be both cause I had just finished leg day! Careful when using your debit card...they will try and charge you more later. First the food. I've had so much better. Egg rolls are already fried, they aren't made fresh to order. I've tried the BBQ pork baguette and BBQ pork vermicelli. The pork had so much fat on it, but the flavor was decent. The "fresh" herbs are kinda wilted and look like they were purchased at a bargain market at the expiration date. The one good thing was the iced coffee. Came with a free glass thermos. So, I was going through my bank statement, and found they charged me for my purchase the day I went. But then a couple days later, there was an additional charge of $30.07 I had to file a dispute with the bank. Luckily, my bank is great about those kinds of things. Went in around 9:15pm last night. The staff didn't really greet us and we felt kind of pressured to order while still looking at the menu to decide. We ended up ordering a spicy beef pho and beef fried rice. I also ordered a strawberry mango lemonade with the upgraded glass bottle. The drink had a syrupy taste until I shook it more and the mango bits tasted out of season. The bottle was cute though. As for the pho...the pho was okay, the noodles were not like the normal noodles you would receive in pho. They were thick and very slimy, kind of hard to grab if you didn't know how to use chop sticks. The beef was chewy. Overall I'd give it a 6/10 because the broth was the right amount of spicy. The beef noodles were great but not hot. I'm not sure if they come with shrimp but there were about 2-4 piece in the plate and they kind of skimped out on the beef. The workers were really loud, I couldn't tell if they were play arguing or not and at one point while we were eating they shut off the lights while messing around which wasn't really comforting at all. Overall I don't think this will be my go to place for pho, but I could see myself maybe coming back to get the noodles again and to try something else. read more

The price wasn't reduced with the use of sliced shrimp. I will not be going back. I don't like purchasing items that are advertised one way and now I'm getting jipped. The shrimp, bbq pork, egg roll and the vermicelli(noodles)#7 is really good i recommend to add some hoison sauce it adds alot of flavor. Decided to try this spot since it's new and something different for the area. Had spring rolls and beef pho. I was surprised by the limited menu. I'm so used to seeing all sorts of combinations of meat at pho places. I had to special order all beef filet bowl. Beef was leans and tender, veggies, fresh, noodles were slightly overdone, broth uninspired. I tried my best making it flavorful with lime, veggies and sauces but didn't really amaze me. The spring rolls had some sort of spam or ham under the shrimp which was unusual. The peanut sauce was very watery even when it cooled. Looks like a regular fast food joint but honestly it's very tasteful. My kids get the teriyaki bowls and hubby always has got the #1, which is steak I believe . And they have drive thru . It's amazing that we are getting more food options in Pico and Whittier! We have been going to BMC for years but always had to make the trip to find one. It was so exciting to see this place pop up. My husband and I used to only eat their banh mi. But the pho ga is always on special so we tried it one day and haven't looked back. I was hoping this could replace our regular spot. But the pho was only ok. It's all personal choice. There was nothing bad about it. Just not my favorite, still good though. Otherwise the place was nice. Clean and new. The staff was friendly. They have self serve sides for the pho which is nice. I feel bad when I don't use what they serve me. We will go back to try the sandwiches. Maybe when I need closed by pho.
