For context, they painted the interior or of our entire home - walls, trim, and ceiling. The team knew how to work with high end paint and transformed a set of drab, beige, poorly textured, and banged up walls. They sanded the walls to manage the texture, worked expertly with tricky corners, managed complex work with dry wall to address dings and structural oddities. They are not just incredible painters - they are also amazing project managers and partners. The team managed our paint job while we traveled, but our furniture and floors were kept pristine (despite our 0% prep for them). When they ran out of paint (because I insisted on getting it and didn't get enough!), they reached out. When I didn't get back to them soon enough, they went to the store and perfectly matched the color, no VOC, and other specifications. Wilmer is warm, personable, proactive, and an excellent person to have on your team as a part of the work to transform your space! His team is also wonderful, expert, and easy to be around (I know, because i hired them for a second job and this time didn't leave town). Feel free to reach out to me with questions. Both jobs are stunning and worth every penny! Selvin is straight-forward and honest with his pricing and walks you through the entire job. When I asked if they were able to do something his response was "you're the boss!" Selvin's team is prompt and hard-working, showing up on time every day ready to work. I had to reschedule my flooring job with short notice for a trip out of state and they were able to squeeze me in a week earlier than originally scheduled. It was a tight schedule, only four days for the whole basement, but they were able to get the job done early! I couldn't recommend City Painters more for all of your remodeling needs! This level of effort showed that they not only respected their work, but they respected our home. It can be hard to find a good contractor.
