I booked a pedicure and in the morning and they were able to fit me in that afternoon. The spa pedicure was a great value. $30 for a pedicure with a hot stone massage and paraffin wax treatment. They have a really nice selection of colors to choose from also. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend! read more

Best nail salon in Madison. They can almost always squeeze you in last minute, and the quality it amazing. The prices are really reasonable! Everyone there is amazing, but Jimmy is the person I always request. If you haven't tried Blush, you have to check it out! read more

A friend and I came in after making appointments for two pedis and two gel manicures this past Wednesday. Unfortunately we were in town on business, so we were unable to come in for any kind of correction. That said, first impression, the salon is not very clean. Once we came in, we were told they only had us scheduled for one pedi and one mani. They didn't apologize, just told us to have a seat in a pedi chair and while the woman who "greeted" us, and I use the term loosely, yelled that whoever took our appointment got it completely wrong. I don't have any complaint about the pedi itself, but unfortunately something went terribly wrong with the gel manicure. The girl who took care of me was very sweet and did a meticulous job, but I think she accidentally used the top coat instead of the gel coat as the base coat. Within two days of coming home, my color was popping off very strangely. I have been getting gel manis for years, and I have never had the gel come off and snap in half as if it were brittle...especially after TWO days. So strange. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but the cleanliness of the salon and what appeared to be the manager's behavior was enough for us never to return if we were ever in the area again. I'll be going to my local salon to get my nails redone as soon as possible. Such a disappointment. read more

Customer service #FAIL One of the truest tests for any business providing services (whether it's a restaurant, hair or nail salon, or any other establishment) is how it handles its customer service when it is busy. On Thursday, May 22, 2014, Blush Nail Boutique FAILED on many accounts. Maybe it was the timing, but it was one of the the worst nail salon experiences I've had it quite some time. I had a 5:30 p.m. mani/pedi appointment. Apparently appointments are meaningless to this salon. After checking in for my appointment, I was directed to the pedicure chair and instructed to place my feet in. The nail technician then left me sitting there soaking in the pedicure tub for 30 minutes!! The tech came back at 6:00 p.m. and began my pedicure, no explanation, no apology. Seriously?! The pedicure service was average. But, get this...the tech doesn't even finish my pedicure...she leaves me sitting there after polishing my toes with one layer of polish. She then moves on to another waiting customer. No explanation, no nothing. Really??!! A few minutes later, another tech comes over to move me over her manicure station. Wait what?? I have to tell her that the other tech abandoned me and never finished my pedi!! Totally unacceptable. The second tech finishes my pedi and we move to the mani station. Ok. By now, it's 7:00 p.m. and closing time. A third nail tech comes over and rushes through my mani. She never asks me if I want my nails shorter, or what shape I want my nails to be. The mani service was definitely less than average. This was my first time to this salon. Really negative first impression. The prices are reasonable, but the customer service is poor! The salon was busy, but that is no excuse. There are plenty of other nail salons in the area, so I'm going elsewhere next time! read more

I got a mani/pedi. The massage for both the mani and pedi was nice, but the actual shaping of the nails and polish left a lot to be desired. My nails looked like a 5 year old had attempted to shape them, all uneven and horrible looking, I didn't even want her to try to fix it for fear that I wouldn't have any nails left...The nail Polish was not even and had a lot of bubbles in them when done. The manicure portion was completely rushed through, and I had an appointment. But, here's why they get a one star, They used a USED nail file on my toes, I assumed that they would just use a new one, so I didn't look closely until after. Both sides of the file were completely covered in white dead skin...gross. That alone makes this place somewhere I would never return to. If they cannot use a brand new file for every client, that's just plain gross and a very easy way to transmit diseases. Based off of that I'm sure that everything else that they use is also not clean. When my pedicure was done I actually witnessed one of the ladies working there use a file on her nails and the proceed to use the same exact file on a client!! While the price was cheap, it is not worth it for the pure uncleanliness of the place. I would much rather pay more and know that the service provided is actually clean and sanitary. read more

I have been a regular client there since they opened. They had these rewards cards that were initialed for every 20 dollars you spent in cash. I was excited to use my card this weekend and when I went to turn them in for payment, they accused me of forging the card. I will never be back. read more

I have been coming to this location since they opened and have always had an enjoyable experience. The staff has been nice and the service has been great. The only downside with this place is that the appointment system isn't very great. Even when you book an appointment, you still don't get in until about 15-20 min after. (I'm currently writing this review while I'm waiting for an appointment that should have started 21 min ago) other than that, the experience has been enjoyable so I would recommend this place to others. read more

I've come back to this location a number of times, even reading all the comments other people have made. But this time will probably be my last. They were incredibly rude. Not to me specifically, but just in general. Numerous people came in (walk-ins) asking for random services. Instead of saying they didn't have time at the moment but if they came back at whatever time... They just told them no they didn't have time! So all the people left. The guy doing my mani/pedi HURT me when he was doing it. He also asked me what "shape" I would like my nails, and then I got charged extra for having a "shape." I was appalled at they consider "service." The only nice thing is they have lots of colors to choose from. read more

Best foot scrub and massage of anywhere I've been! They go above and beyond with the relaxation! A lot of colors to choose from too!

I called more than 24 hours in advance to schedule a dip manicure and was all set for a 6:00 pm manicure the next night. I called to say I was on my way and I would be a little early. They said there was no appointment under my name and kept asking for my phone number (at least 5 times). I sat in my chair at 5:45 and was happy to have extra time to choose a color. However, I didn't get an actual provider to start on my nails until 6:30. They seem to be very understaffed and unorganized. I also think sanitation is an issue here. It seemed like my station was not cleaned before I arrived. I had dust all over my clothes and the towel was dirty. I also don't think they sanitize the tools before using them.. not pleased. read more

The girls in my group said their nails chipped after a couple of days but my pedi lasted all through my vacation! I am a fan of how they let you choose a color here. Instead of picking right away at the door, they bring you baskets with a ton of nail samples. The hot stones and leg massage are so nice! Price is good. read more

I was most impressed with my first visit today. I went without an appointment late in the day. Walked in and was seated right away. I only had a pedicure, but it included a scrub, hot stone massage and paraffin wrap. My tech was meticulous in preparing my toes and when they were painted. I will be back again! read more

Great place. Excellent pedicures and very friendly staff. Blush was recommended by a friend and she was right. Very busy place so call ahead. read more

We had a really great pedicure experience! I took my mother in law for a late mothers day gift and we both thought this was one of the best pedicures we have had. Both nail techs were detailed and attentive. The pedi included multiple scrubs and massages for the legs and feet and a paraffin wrap. They are able to include nail art if you so choose. The prices are reasonable and the whole facility was clean. Will definitely be back! read more

I'm so sad to leave a poor review for this place. It's changed so much in the last year. They used to be so great such great customer service... Now it's like a chop shop. Even though you make an appointment it's like first come first serve. I just came on a Thursday night and it's insane here. People walking out annoyed. My pedicure was so rushed and not relaxing at all. I used to be a regular here and now I'm afraid I won't be back. read more

Visiting from Chicago & MN. We loved the 2 male nail technicians we had. They were a blast. Highly recommend this nail salon if you're in the area. Great service & our mani & pedis look wonderful. Thank you! read more

I saw the good and bad reviews, so I decided to go for a try. I went there last Thursday without any appointment. It was pretty busy and I was asked to wait for 10 minutes. And it was worth to wait for 10 minutes because the pedicure is amazing. They provide a glass of wine as a drink and the music are so relaxing. The regular pedicure already includes paraffin wax, hot stone, and hot towel wrap. The massage is really awesome and so I decided to upgrade to Paradise pedicure to get additional massage. And I got a really nice design on my big toes too! Overall I would say it is the best pedicure I ever had in my life. This salon will become my only one salon that I will always visit! Definitely recommend this salon! read more

I've been here only twice now, but they will keep seeing more of me! Super friendly staff, and the pedis are amazing! It's really inexpensive for what you get: stone massage, hot wax, sometimes a glass of wine ;), and long-lasting polishes. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area! read more

Great place for manicures and pedicures. They're very friendly and professional. Just ask to make sure the nail colors you choose don't have any extra charges. I was surprised to be charged $3 extra for it. But still this is a great bang for your buck. read more

I had been recommended to Blush for great pedicures so I thought I would try them. Let me start by saying I am a pedi snob as I am a cosmetologist so I have high standards. The ambiance leaves something to be desired, customer service was lacking, and not too many nail techs spoke great English. I watched them as they cleaned pedi bowls and tools and 2 of the nail techs didn't disinfect the pedi tubs but simply rinsed and wiped. Very disturbing. The pedi was fine and my nails look good. I will not be back though due to sanitation and customer service. I like to enjoy the experience, not be rushed, and will pay for a better experience. read more

Usually my go-to place for nails. I made appointments 2 weeks ago for my daughters and I, I am still waiting 30 minutes past our appointment time. It is a special occasion day and we have a tight timeline. Disappointing. read more

Had the worst service ever today. My friend and I had an appointment for pedicures. We wanted our feet to soak for a little bit. The water was cold and it was apparently a huge inconvenience to heat it up because the girl clearly stated she wanted to go home. Rude. I've been going to this place for over a year and NEVER been treated this way. I was also embarrassed for my friend who is from out of town and I recommended Blush. Last time we'll ever go here. read more

The pedicure includes a scrub and a paraffin dip - it's amazing. I love paraffin but usually it costs extra. Not here! My polish looked great (and they have a HUGE variety of colors to choose from), and the massage/overall pedicure was very relaxing. Also, if you pay cash, you get a punch card and eventually will get a discount. The one drawback was the nail techs were a little inconsistent. I went with a few friends, and although we started at the same time, we all finished at different times, and each person varied on the amount of time they spent on different parts of the pedicure. read more

I have been going to these guys for a few months now, and I love it! The staff is always super friendly and attentive. Usually I get a gel manicure and regular pedi. These together cost me $55. it is definitively worth it. The pedicure alone is amazing. They do a sugar scrub, hot stone massage, paraffin dip and hot towel wrap. My gel manicures last well over 2 weeks, and the nails grow out really healthy. Worth it! read more

I am looking for a new nail salon and decided to try Blush in Fitchburg. One of my friends goes to the SunPrairie location and raved about the service and especially the leg massage. Well, my experience was different. The woman who did my service was pleasant, but the pedicure itself felt rushed and the hot stone massage lasted less then two minutes, what a disappointment! I called and asked about the various pedicures and the one I chose had a ten minute hot stone massage, I am glad I didn't opt for the one with a twenty minute massage! I work in the service industry and know it is easier to keep new clients then consistently looking for new ones. I will be back on the hunt for a nail salon that at least delivers what they promise.Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Honestly, I have gotten my nails done in numerous places but this one is by far my favorite thus far. I got a pedi/mani shellac (first time trying shellac) and it was done in a timely manner along with quality work. my nails and toe nails look great. the pedicure overall was the best i've ever gotten with new techniques i've never even had during a pedi. Price isn't too high for what you get! Great service, great location. read more

Clean, friendly, quick. Only complaint would be more color selection for gel! (I'm picky). Great salon!

Absolutely amazing pedicure. The massages and hot stones/towels were even more relaxing than I expected. I'm usually very sensitive and have had quite a few pedicures which ended in bloody skin or nails or some sort of pain. The pedicurist was so careful and gentle and made for a wonderful experience. Thank you!! read more

I got a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure... Halfway through my pedi I was concerned that I had told her the wrong thing, because the services included a ten minute massage, hot stones and paraffin wax. But that was just their regular $30 pedi! Highly recommend Samari - she was super sweet, gentle and my nails look great. It was nice to be pampered for an hour and a half! read more

Blush Nail Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Madison, Wisconsin

I had a pedicure and acrylic nail application. The pedicure was great! The acrylic nail application definitely could have been better. I asked for a longer nail in a "ballerina" shape. The man applying the nails did not speak english very well and was talking to the other nail tech sitting beside him in another language. He kept tipping my hands towards the other nail tech as if to ask "does this look right?"....they did not end up looking like I'd asked and they ran out of the polish used on my toes so my toes & fingernail color did not match. read more

Been going to this place for some time now and I their customer service is getting worse each time. The lady who worked on my pedi was in such a rush and there wasn't even a wait. While scrubbing my foot so fast and hard she peeled some skin off. I used to recommend the this place to everyone and also take friends and family, No More!! The guy who was working on my sisters pedicure walked off to answer his phone and never came back, after a while someone else came and finished up his job. read more

I was a walk-in on Friday morning and they got me in right away which I was surprised and pleased by. The young man who did my pedicure was nice and knowledgeable. He only did the hot stones for a minute or 2 but he used the scrub on my legs and feet for a nice amount of time. He was very precise on his polish application. I added a manicure on mid way through my pedicure which he was okay with since they weren't too busy. Manicure was okay, there wasn't a hand massage with lotion like I've had at other places. The drying station has noisy little fans and the lightbulbs don't seem to be very bright or do much like at other salons I've been to. They didn't put on a spray drying coat and there are lots of small signs on printer paper that say regular manicures take up to an hour to dry and once you leave no refunds. In fact there are lots of printed signs everywhere in there. Happy they could get me in but will probably drive to Kim's Nails or TC Nails next time. read more

HORRIBLE. I made an appointment for two. They got us in 20 minutes and rushed us. Worst pedicure ever. :(. Don't go:

Somary is AWESOME. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is ambiance. It is your standard looking nail salon. Not very spa like or fancy.

I went in for a gel mani. The gentlemen that did it had no clue what he was doing, as someone watched over him and kept coming over and cleaning up my fingers that he had painted in the process. When I left I noticed a few nails were rough and the polish was connect to my skin so the next day I had to go back and have 3 fixed. They weren't nice at all about fixing it, not an apology or even small talk. 12 days later they are peeling. I was able to peel them off as one whole finger at a time. Wont be back for Gel mani again!!!!!! read more

I know that everyone seems to love the pedis at this spot, but I got a basic mani and was really disappointed. I felt like the guy couldn't wait to get done with me and move on to the next client. He filed my nails almost diagonal in some spots and got annoyed when I asked him to even them out. He left polish on the ends of my fingers and walked away. Again, he seemed annoyed when I asked him to remove this (if I wanted polish all over my fingers at the end, I'd do my own manicure). I wouldn't come back for this service or with this worker again (sorry I don't have a name for you). read more

Based on the reviews, enjoying this place must be contingent on who provides your service. The salon was busy when I went in, but they accommodated me by bringing in a guy who was napping in his car. He blew his nose throughout my shellac ( which didn't last as long as it should have). I also feel like the pictures might be more flattering than this palace actually is. I don't see the point in given this place a second look, because there are so many other places that provide better service in a better atmosphere. read more

Madison's best nail salon. The techs are always wonderful and friendly. They are very customer service oriented---they are always specific in what I want and ask each step of the way if I'm happy with how they look. MY nails always look spectacular and I receive many compliments. I am forever a returning customer :) read more

Sorry to write a bad review, made an appointment and when I came in I had to wait for 25 min sitting at the table while she worked on another gals nails. Went in for a pink and white and it clearly states it is $45 and she charged me $55. I had a $20 gift card and gave her another $40 and she never offered me change! Just assumed I'd tip. Pink and white cost me $60! read more

Would love to give a good review, but after weeks and weeks of trying to get in for a simple manicure, I cant. This place was recommended to me by a customer. I decided to give them a go, but I simply cannot get an appointment. Maybe they need more staffing? I work during the day, so I cant come in during the middle of the day for a manicure. Two weeks in advance should be plenty of notice to get it...Clearly they are busy, so that must be good. My advice is unless you can schedule a month in advance, try someplace else. read more
