She took the time to listen to what I was looking for, offered amazing genuine advice and kept me in loop as she shaped them! She educated me on my face and bone structure and how it would compliment different styles, informed me on where I could improve or enhance certain aspects. She took the time to have me see how they were coming along and gave me options on how we could shape them more. While she does wax and use different methods, for me she took the care to individually pluck and shape me! Not only is she AMAZINGLY skilled her craft, but she welcomes you in like you are one of her best friends! Even though I only come in every 3-4 years she always remembers me! I saw her a week before my wedding and gave me so many pointers and tips on how to accentuate my brows on my wedding day. Being such a stressful time she made me feel so at ease and I had no hesitation in entrusting her to shape my brows perfectly with only a week before the big day! My eyebrows are complete different shapes, heights, & lengths and just generally uneven & crooked!!! Red flags I ignored but should have used to run for the hills.... 1) I got a text saying she had a cancellation and if I could come earlier because she had to be somewhere by 3p. Mind you, my appointment was supposed to be at 1:30p so that means she was just going to rush through my appointment so she could be somewhere at 3p. 2) There was no mapping done just free hand drawing with a brow pencil. I showed her a picture of how I do my eyebrows and she did not successfully recreate them. 3) The initial free hand was completely different shapes, lengths, and heights so they had to be redrawn an abnormal number of times. 4) I showed her how I mapped my own eyebrows on and then she started to attempt to "eyeball" map and draw/color them on again 5) She works out of her home with a spa table setup in her front room with her kids walking in & out (with the 16 yr old outbursting her need to poop) and her dog barking in the other room. Had I not asked for the dog to be put away it would have been roaming around as she did my eyebrows. 6) Prior to starting, I explained my eyebrows were really important to me and was very candid in asking her if she was comfortable with what I was needing/wanting/expecting. And she gave a wavering response that anything could be touched up. Sadly, there was no way to touch up the disaster created with my eyebrows!!! My eyebrows did not turn out even close to what the final drawn on eyebrows looked like so I was very shocked when I got a good look at them for the first time.

What made me call: I love the way Kristen responded to each reviewer, both the high and low ratings, and how she personally engaged with each customer about their experience. I called to help my really good friend find a good salon, since my friend wasn't having much luck (most salons were snobbish and hung up on her regarding perms for long hair). I called and spoke with Kristen, explaining that my friend has not been to a hair salon before and what she was looking for. Kristen was so easy to connect with and answered all my questions, relaying helpful information I passed along to my friend. I got amazing friendly vibes from her so I instantly knew this was the perfect place! My friend went in and they already knew who she was, which gave her so much comfort and relief. She said that everyone she came in contact with was so sweet and caring. She has a consultation with Stephanie, who tested my friend's hair and gave her feedback she found extremely helpful to help her hair repair and when it was best to get a perm. My friend loved how honest, knowledgeable and caring Stephanie was and the time she is willing to take in the future to take care of her, she felt really happy and comfortable with her. The service that Stephanie was able to provide for my friend that was safer for her hair was a touch-up to cover her grays, and it turned out amazing! She looks like she is in her 20's again! I am impressed and so happy at the overall experience my best friend received. She will be back for her eye brows to be done and it is great to know she will be in good hands. Only doing 2 stars because I should've made a better choice by going somewhere where I was sure I…read morecould've gotten real results. I spent nearly 400$ to get a "Brazilian blowout" "smoothing" treatment and I'm so beyond disappointed. My hair is the same if not more dry and course than before the treatment. I wanted something to temporarily straighten my hair and I got confused by the messages with the salon which is my fault. But now after all is said and done, I'm just upset my hair feels and looks just a little bit worse if anything 4 hours of salon time and 400$ later. The lady Angela who did it was nice and did say it wouldn't straighten my hair all the way just make it more manageable. I just am very disappointed, as one would be.
