It so hard to get the right color for your look-modern, but natural. MOST importantly, minimize the damage! I have pretty long hair and it is important to me to maintain it. No shade, It's all about personal choice. I need to "do me" and be my best authentic self. I found a terrific stylist here IRENE! She listened to what I preferred, and made terrific suggestions. Her attention to detail and expert techniques plus a great eye for style are all you could hope for. Her energy is so upbeat and positive. The look and feel and movement of my hair is SO much improved! This is my follow up visit and it just keeps getting better and more healthy, bouncy and shiny. Had a consultation with Florencia and had a great experience. We spent several minutes going over my hair history, my goals, and the gray-blending look I was considering. Florencia was very knowledgeable, detailed, and confident in her approach. She did a color strand test and took the time to explain everything clearly. In the end, I decided to hold off on the gray blending but I did get a haircut and I'm very happy with it. Florencia was polite, professional, and her cutting technique was spot on. I truly wish I could give this salon zero stars. They ruined my nice blonde hair and turned me into a chicken. I came in for a cool, clean blonde color and brought clear references (of my last colour service as well). My first toner turned out very warm and brassy. The stylist redid it once, and for a short while, the result looked fine -- but after just a few washes, the toner completely washed out and my hair turned yellow. I contacted the stylist immediately to let her know about the issue. She offered to "fix it," so I came back again. That was already the third time my toner was applied there. Under the salon lighting it looked okay (but still different), but I understood that after three tries, the stylist Maggie simply couldn't achieve the result, and I didn't want to risk damaging my hair even more. I politely said it was okay and left. Once I got to my car and saw my hair in daylight, I realized it was just another warm yellow tone ever worse -- nothing close to the cool blonde I had asked for. Ten minutes later, I texted her again, explaining how disappointed I was and asking for at least a partial refund, since the result still didn't match what I had paid for ($600!) Instead of showing understanding or taking any responsibility, she refused. The salon owner reached out to me a starter blaming and gasllighting me that I was ruining her business and it was my fault i didn't reach out to her directly (how was i supposed to know they didn't communicate with a stylist???). I still offered her a hair and peaceful dilution despite the fact she continued to blame me and manipulate me but she refused. I paid $600 for a service that left me with uneven, brassy hair and a terrible experience. I tried to handle everything respectfully and fairly -- but the lack of accountability and empathy from both the stylist and the salon was shocking. If you value your hair, your time, and your peace of mind -- please think twice before booking here. They ruined my nice blonde. PS. The salon and the "stylist" Maggie blocked me in social media and never accepted the fact that the ruined my nice blonde. read more

Where can I start, the salon is beautiful, clean and every single person who works there is polite, knowledgeable and very professional. Michelle is by far the best stylist in the planet. However, I wouldn't for a second hesitate to do my hair with any of the other ladies in the salon. That's how much trust I have in their work. The stylist was busy and working on her last client. I asked for a consultation and Irenie literally felt so bad for what my hair has gone through as of a year ago. After consultation I asked, when can we schedule? She cut my hair right there and then, best cut I've had to correct what occurred a year ago and three weeks ago for what was suppose to be a correction cut (my hair was butchered). I am sooooooo happy I found a hair stylist like Shelly here in California! I have been on the HUNT for a stylist because I am very picky about who can cut my hair. I had my go to guy back home for 6 years so trying new people is hard for me. Getting my hair done with Shelly was so simple. Making an appointment with this hair salon is a nightmare. Most of the time the receptionist tells you she will call you back to give you a date and even when you have an appointment "anything can happen". I just got a call from them 30 minutes before my appointment time telling me they had to cancel because Michelle had to pick up her kid. If you are a business owner and have had this appointment on your schedule for a week, (with a 50.00 deposit by the client) how do you not make arrangements ahead of time for things like this?!! Because the client is not their priority here! I have seen this kind of thing happen there while getting my hair done, their approach to work is very "relaxed". They mostly work office hours and their needs come before their client and if you don't like it that's fine with them. I told her it was very unprofessional to do that and that i would not be returning and there was no answer. The stylists are not even all that experienced there. read more

I paid 420$ for this color "correction". I'll let you decide for yourselves I specifically asked to stay blonde and to blend the color together. I think the pictures will do justice to describe HOW AWFUL MY EXPERIENCE WAS. im licensed in ny to practice cosmetology. when I had reached out to the salon to try and resolve this, I was met with some bullshit run around as if I was stupid. Top everything off, the stylist didn't even blow dry my hair afterwards. Took my card and shoved me out the door. you be the judge! I even showe'd and texted pictures of what I wanted. My hair was light and blonde before. Pay 420$ to go back to brown with no highlights and all my hair cut off is traumatic and not to mention the salon owner calling me to tell me my hair was messed up before and that I had no clue was talking about!? I'm licensed in ny and well aware of basic Hair color 101. So insulted and I've never felts so ugly in my entire life for 420$!! Just so heartbroken. Oh and ps, i spent the WHOLE entire day there. From 10 am to 4pm.. I'm not sure what took so long to go from blonde to ugly one solid poop brown color. I'm so literally devastated. read more
