Had such an amazing time at the monopoly game in charlotte by Blume studios! I would highly recommend. The life sized game is interactive competitive and lots of fun and the space hold many mini games while you wait!

Okay so I am not sure where to even start! This was my first time attending a Blume studios experience and it was awesome! I attended the Lifesize Monopoly event. I'll begin with callouts: * large parking lot for people to park in for free * building is MASSIVE so tons of room for large groups and hosting events/parties here * handicap accessible * air-conditioning was blasting which was so nice * TONS of mini games AND a bar while you're waiting for your group time slot for the game AND you can stay as long as you want afterwards to play all the free mini games (putt putt games, life-size board games, jumbo connect four, ping pong tables, life size chess, etc) * VERY organized and professional staff - I was impressed * monopoly game runs about 1.5hrs Overview: This was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had! The monopoly game was just like the board game!! They have you play in groups/teams of 6 and there's 4 teams that play in one game. In order to earn money to buy the properties you will play mini games like team building challenges. We had such a great time doing this and would highly recommend this for families and friends!

The location of this studio is right in the path of tailgating and the football stadium. There were parking attendants being very mean and trying to charge us $40 to park even though we were going to Blume with free designated parking. We drove off with them yelling at us and parked free as we should. The overall experience was fun and very interactive. The staff was very knowledgeable to guide us through the experience. We felt like we were in space, and in the shuttles with the astronauts living the experience. It would be awesome to have a safar virtual experience. I definitely recommend this. Sidenote: My opimion, I do feel it's a tad bit overpriced for an hour. $54.95 for adults and $39.95 for kids 8-12. Kids under 8 were not allowed according to the website.

My husband and I visited Blume Studios one Tuesday afternoon to see The Infinite, a virtual reality tour of the International Space Station. We've never done a VR experience, and this one was so immersive! You walk through a virtual view of the station and see and hear the astronauts performing their tasks, eating, and talking about their own experiences. You feel like you are right in the station with them! The pros - 1) This was a really unique experience. While a bit pricy ($44.95/adult on a Tuesday), we still were glad we did it. 2) The amount of time spent in the experience was just right. I was glad to remove the VR headset after about 30 minutes because of its weight and tightness around my eyes. 3) The staff were great. 4) Parking was plentiful in a free lot close to the studio. A few minor cons - 1) There were several small children participating in our group who kept bumping into us. It wasn't their fault, really, as it was challenging to walk around with the big VR headsets on our heads (and they are one-size-fits-all). I just think they should further limit the number of people in each group to lessen the chance of bumping into others. 2) They warn you not to move your feet while listening to each portion, or that portion of the experience will end for you. I was bumped and moved my feet, and thus missed out on the one I wanted to see the most--the astronauts' mealtime. 3) It's also very cold inside (needed for the VR headsets to work), so dress appropriately! If you have free time during this week, I'd recommend trying The Infinite.

Such a fun time! The hosts were very entertaining. I would definitely recommend it for family or team building. Come early/stay longer to play additional games or enjoy lite bites and beverages.

Loved playing this game so much! I have played it twice. So much fun. Can't wait to come back.

We loved our game experience at Monopoly Lifesize!! Such a great interactive experience!

We've been here a few times for various concerts-performances over the years...most recently, for…read moreKing Crimson and Beethoven Symphony #5...and I've been meaning to write a review, so here goes. First of all, I really like this theater. Of course it's not as big as Blumenthal (Belk), but I love the size of this theater. Due to its size, you always get a good view of the stage wherever you sit (especially referring to the rows downstairs). Also, it's a really nice, clean theater (think renovated recently...but I could be wrong). One thing that could use some improvement is the spacing between the rows of seats. It's so tight, it's truly hard to get past folks in the same row...say, if you arrive a bit late, or is trying to get out! I also noticed that for the last visit, there were some chairs out in the lobby...Yay to that! Lastly, I also like the acoustics at this theater. Everything seems to be on point However, there are a few things that I found a bit offputting. For this last performance, they didn't 't allow any photography now (even without flash?)...which I don't quite get. I DID manage to take a few pics, but before the show started. Good thing...'cuz I didn't realize it was forbidden. Maybe I didn't know any better, but I recall taking pics during the performances in the past. Maybe it's a new policy...or maybe it depends on the performance?? Last thing I wanted to mention was that after the show, there's this sense that they want us out quickly...as in pronto! I don't understand why the place can't be more hospitable, and stay open for at least 30 minutes after the concert...so folks can chat, drink, etc.etc. I mean, it was Saturday night...and really not that late either! On this last concert (Beethoven Symphony #5), they sort of bum-rushed us out by 9:45 pm (concert ended at around 9:30 pm)...and I was basically the last person inside...Why? I was waiting for my husband to pick me up in the car, and I didn't want to stand outside in the cold. Well, at 9:45 pm, I noticed that I was the last one in the place, and the ushers were sort of giving me the eye...basically bum-rushing me out! WOW. I don't recall that happening at any other late-night venue in town...where folks are encouraged to leave only 10-15 minutes, following a concert. So anyway, that's my take on the place. 5 stars for the space, cleanliness and acoustics...but 2 stars for service (not sure how I'd describe this rushing folks out part lol!). Since I'm a fan of this theater, I'll still drop 4 stars...but just wanted to mention that I'm NOT a fan of the near-rude service after the performance.

The ambiance early in the evening is relaxed outdoor seating needs to update the benches they're not comfortable and the woods starting to warp but, decent music, and a solid cocktail menu. It's the kind of place where you can actually hear your conversation and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. However, as the night progresses and the vibe shifts into more of a "clubby" scene which ended up being a perfect combo but let's talk charges.. feels steep for what's essentially a modest venue without standout features. Drink prices were high like the cover but not in a way that reflects upgraded quality or service. For the area, there are other spots offering more for the same price or even less but with cozy comforts and inside seating, nicer facilities so it's easy to find things not to love if you come here to support a DJ friend like I did than pay the cover and mingle. It's not a bad place by any means, and the early lounge experience is definitely a highlight followed up with the banging DJ club scene after...it's just the paying premium rates for a relatively average experience for me.

It appears they are trying to be trendy and up-to-date. Remember the objective is to entertain the audience and leave them wanting to come back. Suggest you consider your existing customers. Don't get caught in the Bud Light trap of ignoring your core market to try and get new attendees. The current play "Flick" is a perfect example. Supposedly critically acclaimed, this show was atrocious. The acting was okay, but the story was boring. I have never in my life walked out mid-play, until this one. And to show we were not alone, we got into a traffic jam leaving the parking lot at intermission. Again, the responsibility for meeting customer demand falls on the shoulders of the individuals selecting the plays to present. And the parking is a disaster.
