Ann at Couture Dezigns provided the flowers for my wedding on Lake Buchanan in October 2010. The…read moretricky part was that I was planning my wedding from another country. Of all the things I had to plan from abroad, the flowers were the most difficult because I have limited knowledge of kinds of flowers and we had to work hard to make sure we were on the same page w/ colors and such. But again, it was an unusual situation. I used Ann's daughter as my photographer, which is how I found out about her services. They're both based in the San Antonio area, however with my travel schedule I wasn't able to meet with her in person pre-wedding. But after seeing her work on her website and speaking to her, I felt Ann had a solid grasp on floral arranging and serving weddings. The flowers were driven up to Lake Buchanan from Boerne with our photographer, and Ann had them properly prepared for travel and beautifully labeled. She definitely paid attention to detail. The arrangements made it through the whole day looking beautiful the entire time. In the end, Ann met my expectations and I was really pleased with everything!

I was dealing with a last minute event and needed something right away. To be honest this place was not the first place I went to. I initially went to a florist nearby my house. They were so disappointing, the prices were way too high and they were not helpful at all. So I was so glad that I found Floriya Flowers! One thing I look for and greatly appreciate is great customer service, and they definitely delivered! She was so attentive to my concern and needs. She got the flowers ready in time for the same day event and was willing to work with my budget. The flowers were so fresh and the arrangement looked wonderful! I will definitely come back again!

We just used Wes and his Digital Music Productions at our wedding on June 9th. Nine days later, all…read moreour friends and family are STILL talking about how great the DJ was. We hired Wes to provide ceremony and wedding reception services. He gave us options to use indoor fog, confetti pops, indoor sparklers, uplighting, stage lighting, everything! He even provides a link where guests can go online and request music. While we were touring our venues, every single Event Coordinator knew Wes and spoke lovingly about him. We are so grateful for his services and we highly recommend!

I don't think that he didn't deserve any compensation, but I do believe I was not given the service I was told. I'd rather another bride have her night go smoothly and be aware of what services they'd be receiving vs what they'd be promised. Also he sent me a Playlist from the night of my wedding and there were some slow songs that I had missed, not a lot but there were some there, or at least in the list he sent. I didn't notice them playing, but I dont think he'd go as far as to fabricate a Playlist. Also since I wrote my initial review my family informed me that while he was setting up, he actually broke the venue's chandelier! He was by far the worst vendor I used for my wedding, and the lowest rating i have ever given on yelp. I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 1 because I'm in awe that with everything else that went wrong he actually broke property in the venue. Also, telling me that being dissatisfied entitles me to my money back but only if I had not reviewed him is pretty shady as well.

But what really sent me here to write a review were the delivery and setup crew. As I mentioned, they were very friendly and personable. Importantly (to me at least), after they had laid out the water slide but before staking it to the ground, they sought me out to ask about possible locations of irrigation and in-ground wiring. That is a BIG DEAL! That level of forward thinking is so very helpful to me as a homeowner. I know it protects them, too, but it also helps prevent any problems for me. It was very much appreciated.

They were super nice on the phone. Prices are reasonable. But the real test was their VERY prompt arrival to deliver everything on time. The following day, Charlene and her husband returned, again on time. Both are charming people who are obviously quite good at what they do. Very efficient. Highly professional. We will absolutely support this local business with our future needs.

Response to Cory/Pearl Sunset Events…read more Your response is both inaccurate and misleading. You never offered a final details meeting in person or Zoom, nor did you offer to attend our rehearsal as a final meeting. You only stated to be "on standby"for the rehearsal dinner. Suggesting otherwise now is simply untrue. There were no last-minute changes. The group photo you referenced was clearly included in our itinerary, which highlights that you and your team did not read the timeline or wedding binder, as well as the venues itinerary. You also claim added responsibilities, yet your team did not set up anything. Our floral vendor handled all décor the night before and completed it on the wedding day. Even a simple request as placing handwritten notes is somehow a big inconvenience. Instead of taking accountability, you chose to accuse us of spreading false information and shift blame onto us. That alone speaks volumes. Brides should take caution, if something goes wrong, expect deflection rather than professionalism.
