We had such a great time at the Texas Selfie Museum! We were able to attend through a Yelp Event. We were greeted right away upon walking in. The museum had so many photo stations to take your pictures along with the ring light selfie stands. It was a little small but still comfortable enough to walk through. We went through each station and the lines went fairly quickly. As we walked towards the back we realized there was another room on the other side to take more pictures. We loved it. It is located downtown so you do have to find parking in the area whether a meter or parking garage. Staff were friendly and made it such a great experience for us.

My husband and I visited this evening for the first time. We had an absolute blast! I don't think we had laughed so much while posing for selfies. Lots of fun props and phone holders at each area to make taking selfieseasy. Will definitely share with friends and come back.

I love this place. So fun and reasonable! They have ring lights everywhere so pictures come out very nice!

From the pictures, I think it's clear we had a BLAST! The museum space is smaller than I expected but had a ton of variety for pictures. The space is used very well. The staff was kind and friendly. I loved the music and just the overall vibe of the night. Now hear me out, imma overshare a bit. But, to be fair, this is info we all need. Public restrooms and me, we have a tenuous relationship. But the restroom here, smells great and is spotless. I didn't feel like I needed 5 showers after utilizing their facilities. This is key for me. I will definitely be back with friends and family!

This experience was a blast! I really enjoyed my time, The museum it self is in a historic building downtown it's spacious and they have different themes all through out from angel wings to a money room to a mirror room. They also have merch from shirts to cameras. Check this place out to get some new pics for the gram! Note there is ring lights for each station and you can even ask someone who works there to get the perfect shot!

Great place for fun photos! Each space can be a little cramped, fit for one person or two tiny peoples. Each photo set is in good condition. The bathtub of bubbles and the banana wallpaper are full of whim and elicit genuine giggles from all. Lighting is pre-staged, so you just need a camera. Parking is downtown, so expect to pay for a garage or lot.

Me and my gf had so much fun! The backgrounds are super fun and creative. And I can definitely say it'll be a day to remember! The workers were extremely joyful and so fun to be around. Everyone seemed to love their job here and it showed through how excited they were to take pictures for us. Definitely recommend this place as a fun date spot, lots of bars around too. Trust me you won't regret it.

This was a lot more fun than I was expecting it to be. Granted, I went during an event where they had drinks and prize giveaways, but the museum itself was still pretty awesome. There were about 20-25 different set ups where you could take a selfie or general pictures. Each backdrop had one of those ring light stands where you could place your phone in so you could get even better selfies. And the setups were quite unique too. One was a swing set, another was a boxing bag with huge gloves, another was a mirror room - like the name implies, you're basically in a room surrounded by mirrors and cool lights. I'm not sure if this is somewhere I'd come to multiple times after the first visit since it's still pretty limited, but everyone should definitely check it out if they have a chance.

First of all I have to say that going to the Texas Selfie Museum was by far a great experience. It was my first time and I truly didn't know what to expect. In my head it was like a teenage thing, but low and behold it's not for just the young. Hahahaha. There was a DJ and I had a nice drink. The atmosphere was very energetic. I really liked all the different layout to take pictures. Though I only really used the mirror room, I will be coming back with my kids. I can see this being a family thing and having fun with it. The staff was amazing and you got to check out their merchandise while there!

What a fun place!! There are so many different set ups. So many different themes! In public I get really embarrassed and shy when I try to take photos but here I felt comfortable because we all came with the same purpose. I love that every set up had a ring light to give the perfect amount of lighting this was just such a fun thing to do with friends.

The bartender was very friendly and made delicious drinks. Upon arrival I was a little nervous about the experience as some have noted that there aren't many rooms to explore and that it didn't take long for them to go through the gallery. My favorite was the secret room where you pick up phones and listen to anonymous secrets from other people. That one was pretty unique. I also liked the room with all the changing lights--it looked really cool and was fun to walk through. There's also an area filled with balls that reminded me a bit of Chuck E. Cheese, and another section that's basically a maze made out of clear plexiglass panels. When you first walk in there's a bar, and they also have a gift shop. The bar was really backed up as a think there was only one bartender but she was very friendly. The entry process was easy since I bought my tickets online. Overall, if you go by yourself you could probably get through everything in about 35-40 minutes. It was a fun outing with a group, but personally I'd probably save my money and try something else next time.

Most museums have very old famous painting, but the Briscoe has a large number of paintings which have been painted recently. Now don't get me wrong, Blue Boy at the Huntington is an amazing painting but the paintings at the Briscoe were so vivid and captivating. I wish I could have purchased at least a dozen of them. The colors were bright, which made me wonder if this is what it would have been like looking at a Van Gouh a year after it was painted? Even though there were contemporary painting, the subject matter was distinctly western capturing a style unlike anything I have seen before. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.
