This was our second museum visit of the summer while my sister is staying with me. I feel like they've added so many new exhibits since my last visit, or maybe I just rushed through everything back then. This time, I really took my time reading about the artwork and exhibits, and it made the experience so much more fascinating. Each floor had its own unique collections and displays to explore. My favorite part was the Chinese vases exhibit. I don't remember seeing it before, and it was incredibly interesting. It was something completely new to me and definitely stood out during the visit. It was a little warm inside, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time. I definitely plan on bringing my other sisters here in the future. Highly recommend checking it out, especially on the free admission days!

The arrangement of the galleries was interesting, but the assortment of art often seemed random rather than thoughtfully connected. I found myself wishing there was a clearer curatorial vision tying the exhibits together. In some areas, it felt as though the artwork had simply been placed around the museum rather than organized in a way that told a cohesive story. There are definitely worthwhile pieces to see, but I think the museum could benefit from stronger curation and a more intentional flow between exhibits. Worth a visit if you're interested in art, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

Entrance to the museum was free and although the collection was small, it was colorful, interesting, and full of personality. We browsed the gallery and took pics, note: no flash photography. Directly across the street was the beautiful, well manicured Chris Park. Carefully placed concrete art benches with meaningful engraved messages were scattered throughout the park. There's also a sweet covered picnic area to relax or have a small party. Peaceful and a nice retreat. A small art building resides in the park containing a gallery of a particular artist. We thoroughly enjoyed the colorful exhibit. Forgot to mention there's an outdoor sculpture garden next to Ruby City. Super cool! Must check out. Highly recommend this place for art lovers ! We arrived at our designated ticket time and walked in through the gift shop. There a staff member showed us to the ticket check in desk. After checking in we stopped at the bar for a little drink to accommodate our interactive gallery. We went with the seasonal adult capri sun and the year round capri sun. The bartender was very friendly and made delicious drinks. Upon arrival I was a little nervous about the experience as some have noted that there aren't many rooms to explore and that it didn't take long for them to go through the gallery. After we finished we can say with confidence that it's worth it. We spend about 55min- 1 hour within the gallery. The staff was friendly, the rooms were fun and interactive, and overall we were really pleased with the atmosphere.

We only found out this week that this museum existed. It was featured on the local news…read more It's only open to the public on Saturdays from 10:00am to 5:00 pm. The weekdays appear to be devoted to schools and workshops. The museum is free but donations are appreciated. There are tour guides to take you chronologically through the exhibits. The main themes of the exhibits are electricity and communication and how they came to be. You are taken from Morse code, ticker tape, western union, punch cards and old computers through one of the first cell phones invented in the mid-90s by a local man, who happens to be the same person who created this museum. Of course, the best is saved for last. Who doesn't love Tesla coils firing to the Star Wars theme, followed by Walk like an Egyptian? Sweet. Go there and enjoy. Donate generously. We need our kids to keep up with the rest of the world.

They had many exhibits mostly about nature and our natural history. When you walk in, you are greeted by a pterodactyl and two giant dinosaurs. Make sure that you go outside to see more exhibits and nature including a log cabin. There are many side rooms where you go find some hands on features which are excellent for children.
