Izic is great no complaints for him! He is very talented! This bad review is not for him at all! However, the lady who works the front desk was extremely rude and mean. Her behavior was inexcusable. Terrible customer service skills. It started within seconds of me entering your salon. My children were only there with me for 10 minutes until my husband was able to get off work and come grab them. I was already uneasy about having to bring them with me because I didn't have child care for a few minutes and she made it so much worse from the moment I walked in the door. I understand they were busy but it shouldn't be taken out on a customer. As a business owner I would fire her immediately as she represented your salon in the worse way possible and she makes me never want to return to your salon again as long as she is still working there. read more

The girl I had was not friendly to start off with. I went in for partial highlights showing her a picture and telling her I didn't want warm highlights for the fact that I'm fair skinned and I've always despised red tones on myself! I would like to say that I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to getting my haircut. I have very long hair and I decided to go for a change and cut it. I was so nervous, but after getting an amazing hair wash I was so excited to see what they were going to do with my hair. Kelsey did an AMAZING job. DO NOT GO HERE! I was over charged for a mortifying haircut service that I received this past weekend. I had later called the salon to speak to a manager to notify them of the service I received from a stylist there. I informed them when I got home crying from all my hair chopped off, 8 months pregnant, and will no longer be taking my maternity pictures. They said that they wouldn't do anything for me except to go get my hair cut EVEN MORE from a manager, or only give me half of the store credit of the original price I paid ($70). I rarely get my hair professionally cut and this experience just scarred me even more. I now have an unwanted pixie/ Karen haircut and I am so embarrassed.... If you love your hair, please do not go here. I made the mistake of coming here and now it will be years before i get my hair back to what it was. At one point my hair was all one length longer than those few remaining strands that were left. I explicitly requested that she cut at little as possible and to give me long long layers. I also wanted some side swept bangs. My second mistake was asking for a wet cut only, as I couldn't see the damage until I got home. My side swept bangs are so crooked, I truly believe I could have done a better job my self. My already thin hair was thinned out even more, it looks ridiculous with those few remaining strands of long hair. The difference between my shortest layer and longest is about 8 inches. I'm heartbroken, and horrified and what happened to my hair. I stupidly called back to ask that they at least fix my bangs, and they wouldn't be able to see me for another week which is unacceptable!! A few weeks after visiting this salon I've decided to leave a review. Upon entering everyone was very nice. My stylist was personable and listened to what I wanted. Which is pretty basic and boring. A trim to my long bob and to dye it black. My stylist asked if I wanted the darkest black and I said yes please! Because that's what I've literally been doing for the past 10ish years. Anyway she gave me an excellent trim, dyed my hair black (or so I thought)... My hair is naturally brown so I can clearly see where my hair grows out. I can still see the 4 inches of grow out that were supposed to be dyed black. It honestly doesn't even look like I had it colored. This was also the highest price point I've paid for what was requested so it just adds more sting to the fact that I have to get it redone so soon. I really wanted to love this salon since it's so close to my new home but I will be looking elsewhere. read more

I am heartbroken. I don't even think heartbroken describes it. It has taken me 5 years to get my hair healthy. I had a wonderful stylist for years who helped me, checked my foils every 5 minutes to prevent further damage, etc. Then I moved out of state and needed to find someone new. For the last 6 months, I randomly tell my husband all the time: "for the first time in my life, I have hair that makes me confident." Today I made the mistake of going to D'Anthony. I wish so badly that I could go back to 5 hours ago. All I wanted was a partial because my roots had grown out (I'm already dirty blonde). I also have very fine hair. I just wanted my roots to match my hair and to get some of the yellow tones out. I am no expert or coloring professional, hence why I always go to a professional. But I told my stylist today after the foils were in that my head heats up pretty quickly. I said my former stylist used to wash out one side while the other side processed some more, to prevent damage. I don't think she even acknowledged me. Just started a timer on her watch and said she'd wash me in 35 minutes. Again, no expert, but for very fine, already bright blonde hair, I've never had bleach on my hair for 35 minutes. My stylist always used to check my foils every 5 or so minutes, rinse out foils that had processed, check again, and fully rinsed all foils within 15 minutes. I could understand 35 minutes if I had thick, coarse, dark brown hair! Maybe! Anyways, about 15-20 minutes after she left, and no one had checked my foils to see how it was processing, I had to get up and tell the front desk lady that my head was burning/itching. She couldn't find my stylist. Eventually it got to washed. Then came time for the "very light trim" since I'd said that my goal was to keep growing my hair now that it's finally all one length after years of work, but that my bangs being longer on one side via my side part than the rest of my hair gives me confidence. She parted down the middle. I told her that's not how I part my hair, ever, but she said she does that to make it all even across. I didn't want it all even across. I love my left side bangs much longer than the rest of my hair. I didn't understand. But I also felt like she didn't care to listen or understand how I wear my hair. Long story short, I am uploading photos. First: My hair one month ago (my bangs) Second: My bangs now, after paying $200 at D'Anthony Third: My roots, which don't even look done. Last few photos: clumps of my hair coming out as I run my hands through it. D'Anthony-- you never know what someone is going through in their life-- health, loss, etc. And we come to you to feel good about ourselves. To be in good hands. Word can't describe how I feel. She was so sweet, accommodating and listened to exactly what I wanted, which unfortunately sometimes is hard to come by when going to get your hair done; some stylist tend do what they want even when you ask them for a specific look-Sydney gave me that peace of mind knowing that she listened and catered to my needs. I have tried this salon at the Dominion and the Helotes location. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with both. I went to the Dominion location for over a year and was treated really shabbily at my last appointment so didn't return. The stylist had overbooked herself and since I'd always treated her so kindly she chose to scoot me to another stylist after I'd waited for over an hour. She made the assumption that I'd be the most forgiving. I made an appointment 4 weeks ago at the Helotes location for today. This stylist also double booked herself and I was told by the most surly of receptionists after waiting several minutes that, "there had been an error in booking and someone else could take me 2 hours later." No apology was offered. I asked to speak to the manager. A mean looking woman at the first chair was to come over to talk with me. After waiting a few minutes I asked that they phone me. Didn't happen. Obviously, no owner/manager is keeping tabs on the stylists. Terrible, terrible experiences! read more
