Well here we are again. I received a text from the salon 5/15 to help remedy the issue. They wanted to help reschedule and I shared what would work. It was asked if 5/19 @ 7pm would work, I said YES! Showed up today 5/19 at 7pm to ZERO appointment on the books (and gas and time isn't cheap!). Then was told my appointment was showing Wednesday 5/20 at 5:45? Where did that come from? Zero text, zero call. Zero confirmation. Let me just say, it took all I had to keep it together. Their front desk person didn't deserve it so I remained calm. It was impossible to have time off, even if you don't have people coming in, you have to stay there "just in case". Meetings for stupid stuff on your days off, make sure you know about vacations a month before or else you're screwed. Been going there about a year and a half. I hate changing salons so I stayed until I just have to go. The stylist books two other customers to overlap with mine every time. She uses her assistant to help her color my hair or blow it out together so I have two people pulling on my hair simultaneously. I've been called twice in a row on the day of my appointment asking to push it an hour or so later - because she's running behind (because she overbooked). She insists on making my next appointment while I'm there because she says she's already booked for 5 weeks going forward. Last straw, they opened a new salon that's farther from my house and she will only be there 2 days a week and split her time at the new one. Save yourself headaches and do not go to this salon. Too much hassle. By the way, the stylist is not the best in the world but gets busy anyway. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about Pure Posh and Paige (my stylist!). First, everyone was so professional and welcoming. The location is super nice and I really enjoyed the layout of the salon. I really enjoyed my service from the shampooing to the haircut and styling experience. The entire time I was told what product was being used on my hair and why it was being used which I REALLY appreciate. I have an interesting hair texture and density and it's hard for me to find products that I like and a stylist that can do what I like. Paige is literally an expert and I felt so confident in her decisions on how to cut and style my hair and what products she used. She was super nice and it felt really nice knowing she felt comfortable with my hair. I will definitely be back! read more

I booked an appointment here at 10:22 AM on a Monday since I felt I was in luck that a seemingly great salon was open on a Monday, even putting down a credit card per the booking form instructions to secure the appointment. I should not have bothered. Pure Posh is pure trash, pretentious, treats potential customers terribly, and just an overall awful place that should be skipped. Don't be fooled by the Monday hours, this place is not worth the gas getting there. I arrived at my appointment on time and the stylist, Alexis, proceeded to tell me that she can't do my hair for more than 15 minutes because someone else booked after me in a slot after mine. I'm totally serious. Alexis even showed me the bookings on the computer screen. Alexis also came off as if I was inconveniencing her somehow, which was pretty unpleasant. I'm not sure if the person who booked after me was one of her favorites or whatever, but treating me the way she did when all I wanted to do my hair and even booked an appointment in the available time slot she didn't/couldn't accommodate was not nice at all. Instead of giving me a quick phone call, I drove 30 minutes just to feel that I inconvenienced the staff for booking a service that they couldn't accommodate because of another client that was somehow more special than me on their totem pole that booked after I did. Alexis also asked another staff member if she was available, but it was a no go. My only options were to either wait 2 hours for Alexis to tend to her other, way more important client that booked after me or email the owner. After the way Alexis treated me, acting as if I was inconveniencing her by booking a service that she offered, and disrespecting me and my time, I just refused to let her touch my hair or my extensions. I hope Alexis tends to her #1 favorite client forever, because the way this salon handles bookings and treats their customers, that should be the only customer patronizing this awful place. read more

I had an appointment with Sophia today! She was so sweet and personalable! I loved that she took note of my previous cut having a u shape and asked if I wanted that, even when I forgot to mention I liked that. I really needed a haircut, and she did such an amazing job, made me look and feel beautiful!! I will absolutely be back with her, excited to try other clservices next time too! I would absolutely recommend this salon. The atmosphere is great with great workers throughout. From the front desk to the hair stylist the customer service was spot on. I always go just for a trim and they give me whoever which has always turned out great, but I wanted to get my hair dyed and they gave me Paxton for my hair stylist. She was great, fun to talk to and super on point with the whole process of dying, washing, and styling my hair. She also had an assistant, can't quite remember her name but she also did amazing. I am very sad that after 15 years of business I am afraid I may have to leave Pure Posh! First, I cannot say enough about Dana and Letty, who are the owners. They have always gone above and beyond for me. When I was diagnosed with cancer, Letty came in before the shop opened to shave my hair. She made a traumatic experience easier and I will always remember her kindness! I continue to be treated for stage 4 cancer. Each day is a struggle. I had to cancel an appointment with only two hours' notice in November as I had outpatient surgery related to my cancer treatment. The doctor told me that I would be fine for activities later that day but I was not. I really wanted and desperately needed a haircut but could not drive and I live alone. Fast forward to today. I made an error. I had an appointment scheduled for today and I thought it was Friday. When I called to apologize and reschedule my stylist treated me like a five-year-old. Short term memory problems along with endless appointments also come with the cancer package and I honestly thought my appointment was on Friday. I made an honest mistake. She referenced my cancellation in November and said I could not return unless I paid for today's session, which was about 200.00. This is excessive and I do not have that amount of money to pay penalties and pay for another cut. I kept trying to explain what had happened to the stylist and I felt as though she was talking down to me repeating the same thing without taking the time to listen to what I was saying. It was extremely frustrating. Cancer is horrible and each day is a struggle. I do the best I can. I understand the reasoning for a cancellation policy. My stylist Shereen is great with hair but today she lacked basic empathy that makes for good customer service and guests that want to return. I hope this can be resolved as fifteen years is a long time. If the situation cannot be resolved I will sadly have to move on to another place. read more

My daughter booked a hair color appointment with the salon. Very disappointed in what she got. She showed the stylist a pix of the brown color she wanted. There was barely a consultation involved. The stylist looked at the photo and touched my daughter's hair. Then the coloring process started. In the end, my daughter's hair was nothing like the color she asked for. Stylist said my daughter's hair was resistant to the color! She continued to say she used the right color and doesn't know why it didn't work. The worst part was she was trying to charge $196 because of the products she used when we didn't get what we asked for. My daughter's hair is black and a couple hours after the hair treatment, was still black. It actually turned out darker than her natural hair color. This was far from the brown color we wanted! I refused to pay for the service and paid only for the hair cut. I don't think the stylist was experienced enough to color hair. My daughter has thick curly hair. Am disappointed and do not recommend this salon based on our experience. read more

I loved this place ( yes past tense) for about 3 years, but have now moved on to a more personalized shop. Pure Posh is running itself into the ground trying hard to be more corporate than personal. The vibe is not what it used to be. They used to be client minded. I paid the high prices because I could , but I gave them the benefit of the doubt for too long. It's not worth the high prices. Great! Was able to get an appointment later in the day which was perfect since I dont have much spare time to go out and have my hair done! Sarahy was my stylist, super friendly, did a great job, massaged my scalp while washing my hair and recommended a treatment that I have no regrets about! My hair hasn't felt this great in years! I will definitely be going back. Yes its pricey but one minutes researching the place online could have told anyone that. It's worth the money to me. I will say that at one point Sarahy's next appointment was waiting for her to finish up with me, but she didn't rush. Lana was my stylist and was ok, my hair was cut shorter than expected TWICE and with my coloring appt, I was left with color on my face, neck, and ears and was advised I could clean it at home. For the prices paid of $75 for a 1/4 inch trim and 10 min color, the services should be an excellent and unfortunately are not. I gave the salon a 2nd chance and same issues so no recovery and will be moving on. I've recommended some clients but no longer. read more

They booked my appointment for the wrong time and when they called to remind me about it, I wasn't available at the later time so they bumped it up. I busy at work when we did this and I forgot about moving it. I missed the appointment and now they won't let me schedule another appointment (even though I called before my regularly scheduled appointment) and without giving them my credit card number over the phone. I'm not comfortable giving someone my card over the phone so they refused to let me book. Then, when I asked to speak to a manager, they put me on hold and the stylist I was scheduled with got on the phone and didn't give her name until I asked for it. I do not think she is a manager. I understand I forgot my appointment change but I should not have to give my card number over the phone just to book an appointment and give someone my business. read more

Upon entering this place, it's pretty impressive until of course you notice hair from god knows who or how long it's been there and that's not even including the layer of dust on shelving, etc. Maybe that's been cleaned by now, hopefully, but also who knows? Depending on who's working the front desk will pretty much dictate the rest of your salon experience. There also seems to be stylist with nothing better to do than walk around when they could be cleaning. Something. Anything. The amount of turnover they have is crazy too and the owners don't seem to understand it's the stylist, not the salon, that makes a place special. Lucky for them they've got a school that's basically a meat market for new stylists. Whatever they tell you-get it in writing, these owners are known to skirt the truth. Honestly, Stone Oak has way better salons where you'll actually get the experience you deserve for the money you're going to pay. This place is not it. This place doesn't even deserve one 1 star I'm giving it. read more
